Le camere sono un po' piccole, ma nella norma per gli hotel giapponesi. La posizione è ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Beppu e con molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze. Adoro il fatto che questo hotel abbia una piscina sul tetto con una vista mozzafiato su Beppu (anche se la piscina è molto bassa). Ci siamo fatti un bel bagno nell'onsen dell'hotel, ma il mio compagno ha detto che era un po' sporco nella sezione maschile. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto usufruire dell'alcol a volontà per 1000 yen a causa del poco tempo a disposizione, ma sarebbe perfetto per gli amanti dell'alcol! Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò! Personale gentile, pulito e accogliente!

The check-in process was smooth. There was no room card provided; instead, I was given a password to access my room, which was stated on a formal document. Be sure to take a photo of the password and keep it safe, as you’ll need it throughout your stay. Since there is no room card, there is also no formal check-out process—simply vacate the room by your designated check-out date and time. The room was spacious and well-equipped with full amenities, including a water dispenser, clothes-hanging space, a balcony, a TV, and a bathtub. There was no housekeeping service during my stay, so you’ll need to keep the room clean yourself. However, the hotel staff kindly placed fresh towels and new amenities in a basket outside the room daily for guests to use. The hotel is located near Beppu Station, although it requires a bit of walking to get there. A Don Quijote (Donki) store is conveniently located just opposite the hotel. For convenience stores, you’ll need to walk a little further in the direction of Beppu Tower. The hotel also offers a welcome drink at the lobby and has coin-operated laundry dryers on the first floor. Additionally, there is a washing machine available in the room. Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Our stay has been nothing short of amazing! We were grateful for hotel shuttle service to the hotel as it saves us the trouble of climbing up slopes with our luggages. When we arrived, we were greeted by the warm welcome of the staff with free drinks provided at the lounge. The Sora Room is well equipped with amenities and comes with the private onsen, for you to enjoy any time. Recommend to get the ice (outside room) for a cool ice coke after onsen. Definitely have to give the Japanese breakfast and Kaiseiki dinner a try. Every single dish is so delicious and palatable. The hotel is located at Kanawa, within walking distances to the popular attractions such as Hells of Beppu and Onsen Museum. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Beppu!

During my stay, Koji was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with my problem. I was particularly touched by his kindness and proactiveness. He demonstrated a level of attentiveness and genuine care that truly made a difference in my experience. It is clear that he does not hesitate to go the extra mile for guests. The quality of a hotel is often reflected in its staff, and having employees like this is a huge asset. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again should I have the opportunity.

Had a clean and efficient service experience. Don’t miss the chance to visit the onsen during sunrise and sunset—the simply breathtaking scenery enhances my relaxation. Although the layout of the room is rather inconvenient, it's generally clean but a little aged. Best recommend to take the seaview for sunrise or sunset from your bathroom .

Questo hotel JR è uno dei più unici in assoluto, in quanto ha un onsen sul tetto (19-21F). Viene fornito con un supplemento di 150 yen a persona a notte quando si soggiorna qui. Il 21F è un onsen all'aperto separato per genere! È stata una sorpresa, perché non ci aspettavamo che fosse così bello con il clima attuale. Il parcheggio costa 1000 yen a notte con il parcheggio sul lato del centro commerciale ed è collegato alla reception dell'hotel tramite un ascensore. La posizione è superba anche per chi non guida, in quanto si trova a 1 minuto a piedi dalla stazione JR Oita. Abbiamo utilizzato l'onsen per tutte le notti in cui abbiamo soggiornato. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Had a very relaxing stay here. The place is super quiet and peaceful, and the staff were really nice and explained everything clearly. We stayed for 2 nights with dinner included. The dinner set had good options, but you HAVE to try the cheesecake! It’s honestly the best I’ve ever had—so soft, rich, and moist. The portion was huge too! The room was quite big and the hot spring was very comfy. Just a couple of small things: the view from the bath isn't much even with the door open, and the shower/tub area was way too dark. It felt like I was showering in the dark! Overall a great experience, especially for the food and the service.

Abbiamo prenotato l'unità loft con un bagno ma senza un bagno annesso. La stanza è pulita e ben attrezzata. L'area bagno/onsen è a pochi passi di distanza. Hanno un onsen pubblico e circa 6 stanze onsen private. Puoi usare l'onsen privato in qualsiasi momento quando è disponibile. Il vantaggio è l'onsen privato che è bello e abbastanza pulito anche se l'acqua non è perfettamente limpida. Lo svantaggio è che il minimarket più vicino è a circa 20 minuti di auto.

La stanza è spaziosa e pulita. Mi piace il cibo lì. Le strutture sono disponibili sul primo piano. Sono anche fornite una borsa per gli ospiti per portare le loro cose al cibo, non molti hotel hanno questo. La posizione è grande, camminabile al centro commerciale e Lawson è proprio l'opposto. Il parcheggio è anche gratuito. Questo è un enorme plus se si sta facendo un viaggio stradale.

The hot spring uses natural water from the mountain but it is too small, the breakfast and the room are nice. And the most important point to improve is that the vending and washing machines should not be put it next to the smoking area
