Entra nell'edificio più alto a circa 200 metri di distanza c'è un caffè self-service☕️ al primo piano dell'hotel, così come l'acqua calda e fredda. Hanno tutto, e ci sono anche cose come spazzolini da denti e borse da bagno che puoi ritirare da solo molto pulito e ordinato. Il punto forte è il bagno termale al nono piano, separato per uomini e donne. L'acqua termale viene prelevata da meno di 1000 metri, quindi puoi sperimentarla.

Super comfortable for solo traveler. The room is booked actually able to accommodate 2 person. Just a few minutes walk from Takayama station. For light sleeper be mindful of rambling sound of train. Basically Takayama is a small town walking seems to be the ideal way to tourist spots. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

May 15-16, 2024 From the moment we saw photos of this special place on the internet, we knew we had to stay here! The natural rock onsen baths caught our imagination - and our stay was wonderful beyond expectations! The resort is located in a forested valley is stunning, next to a rushing river. Natural mountain hot spring water is channeled into 7 lovely outdoor onsen baths, as well as ensuite baths. The facility is beautifully designed with gardens and multi-level suites, with each of the levels looking out to the river, with plenty of seating to enjoy the relaxing and lovely views. We were treated with limitless thoughtful hospitality from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left - in fact, one of our group kept commenting ”the y[the staff] must think we're really special!”. The suite was beautifully appointed with tatami mats, traditional Japanese decor, comfortable beds, yukata and slippers are provided along with tabi socks and plenty of clean linens. Our suite had its own private onsen bath encircled by natural stones, and constantly running hot spring water. Such a contrast to water-parched California and even Hawaii where we're from! The outdoor onsens are open all night, for viewing of the starry night sky. The kaiseki dinner was exceptional, with many many delicious small plates, each exquisitely prepared and presented - a petite, freshly caught local fish was skewered as if swimming and roasted in a salt shell. Utterly delicious! In the morning, after a similarly wonderful breakfast, we experienced a mochi-pounding session with the hotel staff and guests joining in - lots of fun - photos were provided! Transportation - It was a challenge figuring out how to get to this place - finally, we had a Japanese-speaking hotel clerk call the resort, and got instructions for the 1-hour bus ride from Takayama bus station to Shinhotaka Onsen / Nakao Kou-gen-guchi. There are buses running every hour! We walked to the resort from the bus stop when we arrived, and a shuttle van to the bus stop was thoughtfully provided by the resort when we left. Di recente ho trascorso una fantastica vacanza in un hotel con un bellissimo onsen, ed era esattamente ciò di cui avevo bisogno! Dal momento in cui sono arrivato, sono stato accolto con una calorosa ospitalità e un'atmosfera serena. L'onsen è stato il momento clou del mio soggiorno: immergermi nelle rilassanti sorgenti termali circondato dalla natura è stato incredibilmente rigenerante. L'ambiente dell'hotel è semplicemente sbalorditivo, offrendo una fuga perfetta dal trambusto della vita quotidiana. Ho fatto lunghe passeggiate nei giardini vicini, che erano ben tenuti e fornivano uno sfondo tranquillo per il relax. Una cosa da notare è la tariffa del parcheggio di 1100 yen a notte (dalle 14:00), che ho trovato ragionevole considerando la comodità. Nel complesso, questa vacanza è stata un'esperienza deliziosa e la consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia rilassarsi e godersi un po' di tranquillità. Non vedo l'ora di tornare per un'altra fuga rilassante!

Ottimo hotel, molto vicino alla stazione di Takayama. All'interno dell'hotel è presente una lavatrice che permette di lavare e asciugare i vestiti. L'hotel dispone di bagni pubblici e privati: i bagni pubblici sono gratuiti, mentre quelli privati ​​costano 2750 JPY. Tuttavia, il bagno privato si trova al nono piano ed è a vista, con vista su un altro hotel. Personalmente, non l'ho trovato molto riservato. La camera è spaziosa e il letto è comodo; l'unico neo è la mancanza di un dispenser d'acqua.

A lovely location to enjoy an onsen and cute little town. 2-3 nights is the perfect amount of time for this hotel. The town is very small and you can walk through the temple just Infront of the hotel to reach it. Although the hill is very steep, the stairs make it manageable but it's alot of stairs. On arrival the shuttle bus is waiting for you and they take your luggage to the room. A staff member guides you to your room and explains when the shuttle leaves, where to go to explore the hotel, breakfast and public bath times. The public bath is open between 3pm and 1am, closes for cleaning than opens again from 5am to 10am and closes for cleaning again. During each cleaning they switch the male and female public bathing zones so everyone has a chance to experience each bath. I chose a room with a private bath and a mountain view. The private bath is small but big enough for 2 people if you're both sitting, it also has a window that opens up. The view is stunning. Breakfast starts around 7am and last service is at 8:30am. If you stay 2 nights they will give 2 different breakfasts. Green tea, coffee, juice and milk are the only drinks at breakfast. Soft drink is available at reception during the afternoon. The Hilda beef steak meal provided by the hotel racks up the price with it being $70 AUD per person and for comparison, in town, a similar meal was around $40 AUD per person. If you really want a dinner at the hotel than try out the paid dinner but there's a few good spots to eat in town. There's this one restaurant called Senda that is a good price and just left of the big hotel direction sign at the bottom of the mountain. If you are unsure of where to go than pick up the local food map at the town info office. Anyway, good hotel for a city getaway as well as an opportunity to take the Shinkansen and local train from Tokyo (4 hours from Tokyo but great views and easy transfer)

Everything was excellent, even though the facility is quite old, cleanliness is well maintained.  The staff are helpful and well mannered. The Japanese style food is healthy and delicious .  Most of all the onsen is excellent, makes your skin silky and gentle .

Il nostro soggiorno a Ryokan Gizan è stato un'esperienza davvero memorabile, una ryokan giapponese tradizionalmente costruita e decorata, con pavimenti tatami, porte scivolanti e un'atmosfera autentica che ti fa sentire completamente immersa nella cultura giapponese. It’s definitely a “must-visit” if you’re looking to experience traditional Japanese accommodation even a short stay of 2–3 nights is enough to make it special. Il ryokan è molto vecchio, che aggiunge al suo vero fascino, anche se potrebbe sentirsi un po' meno comodo per gli ospiti più richiesti, detto, è molto ben mantenuto e tutto è pulito e pensato. Le strutture di onsen sono state eccellenti un bagno pubblico e quattro bagni privati che si possono utilizzare liberamente.Dopo lunghi giorni di esplorazione, è stato un vero trattamento. Si raccomandano molto di prenotare con il pranzo tradizionale incluso. I pasti erano un'accentuazione: avevamo Yakiniku la prima notte e Shabu-shabu la seconda, entrambi con una fresca e generosa porzione di cibo delizioso. Il colazione era un set tradizionale giapponese, ben presentato e fatto con cura, anche se non abbastanza per il nostro gusto personale. La posizione è stupenda circondata da montagne, fiumi e alberi fioriti. Si sente tranquillo e lontano. Solo notare che le strutture come ATM o negozi di pasticceria sono limitate nelle vicinanze. Tuttavia, è ben collegato con l'autobus (solo a 3-minute passo dalla ryokan), che può portarti a Kamikochi o ai terminali a Takayama e Hirayu Onsen. Bus correno circa una volta all'ora, quindi è abbastanza gestibile. In generale, un fantastico soggiorno rilassante, unico, e altamente raccomandato per chiunque voglia sperimentare un lato più tradizionale e scenico del Giappone.

Ho scelto questo hotel per la sua posizione e il prezzo di una notte davvero buono per un ryokan, che superava le mie aspettative. Mi ha sorpreso anche di quanto fosse grande l'hotel. In generale, ho avuto un'esperienza eccezionale di rimanere qui. È meno di un 6-minute passeggiata dalla stazione di Gero. L'hotel sembra aspettare l'arrivo di ogni treno per raccogliere gli ospiti, che è stato un bel gesto. Abbiamo arrivo molto presto diverse ore prima del check-in ma sono stati in grado di immagazzinare il nostro bagaglio. Il processo di check-in era semplice, e il personale che ci ha partecipato ha fatto un ottimo lavoro spiegando le strutture, i servizi e le strutture dell'hotel. La stanza che abbiamo prenotato era molto spaziosa, con molte stanze per andare in giro e organizzare i nostri beni. Tutto era ben mantenuto, pulito e tempestivo. I letti erano comodi, ho dormito molto bene. Il colazione era meraviglioso. La sala da pranzo è grande e ben organizzata; nonostante la folla che si trova durante il colazione, non si sentiva inconfezionata. La selezione di cibo era notevole, con una vasta gamma di piatti da provare. Il bagno è stato incredibile. Ho preso molteplici bagni mentre ho provato i diversi onsen 3 all'hotel, ciascuno offrendo una vibrazione unica. Le strutture e le strutture sono state esattamente come annunciato nella sezione Servizi e strutture.
