Entra nell'edificio più alto a circa 200 metri di distanza c'è un caffè self-service☕️ al primo piano dell'hotel, così come l'acqua calda e fredda. Hanno tutto, e ci sono anche cose come spazzolini da denti e borse da bagno che puoi ritirare da solo molto pulito e ordinato. Il punto forte è il bagno termale al nono piano, separato per uomini e donne. L'acqua termale viene prelevata da meno di 1000 metri, quindi puoi sperimentarla.

Super comfortable for solo traveler. The room is booked actually able to accommodate 2 person. Just a few minutes walk from Takayama station. For light sleeper be mindful of rambling sound of train. Basically Takayama is a small town walking seems to be the ideal way to tourist spots. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Bellissimo ryokan, vicino alla fermata trafficata. Tutto è pulito e il personale è cordiale e attento. Camera spaziosa e comodo futon. I bagni onsen sono adorabili, sulla riva del fiume per una splendida vista sulla valle, potete ”riservarne” quattro per uso privato per un po' di tempo, semplicemente chiudendo la porta. La cena è stata superba

Questo hotel ha superato le nostre aspettative! È molto vicino alla stazione degli autobus Nohi e alla stazione JR Takayama (3-5 minuti a piedi). Anche se abbiamo solo pernottato, abbiamo avuto un'esperienza memorabile a Takayama Ouan. L'hotel offre molti omaggi ai propri ospiti. Hanno una cabina nella hall dove gli ospiti possono prendere caffè, tè caldo e tè freddo al limone verde gratuiti. Forniscono anche calzini gratuiti poiché l'hotel ha pavimenti in tatami. Ciò che abbiamo apprezzato di questo hotel è anche l'onsen (onsen pubblico separato per uomini e donne e 3 onsen privati). Hanno anche un freezer dove gli ospiti possono prendere gelato gratuito dopo il bagno. Dopo le 21:00, hanno anche ramen gratuito per i loro ospiti. La stanza è spaziosa e anche la vista dalla nostra finestra è bella (le strade e gli stabilimenti coperti di neve). Oltre alle cose gratuite e agli ottimi comfort, apprezziamo anche la gentilezza e la cordialità dei membri dello staff. Abbiamo perso accidentalmente il tag per il ritiro bagagli (e siamo disposti a pagarlo) ma non ci hanno fatto pagare nulla. Quando torneremo a Takayama, sicuramente alloggeremo di nuovo qui.

Ottimo hotel, molto vicino alla stazione di Takayama. All'interno dell'hotel è presente una lavatrice che permette di lavare e asciugare i vestiti. L'hotel dispone di bagni pubblici e privati: i bagni pubblici sono gratuiti, mentre quelli privati ​​costano 2750 JPY. Tuttavia, il bagno privato si trova al nono piano ed è a vista, con vista su un altro hotel. Personalmente, non l'ho trovato molto riservato. La camera è spaziosa e il letto è comodo; l'unico neo è la mancanza di un dispenser d'acqua.

A lovely location to enjoy an onsen and cute little town. 2-3 nights is the perfect amount of time for this hotel. The town is very small and you can walk through the temple just Infront of the hotel to reach it. Although the hill is very steep, the stairs make it manageable but it's alot of stairs. On arrival the shuttle bus is waiting for you and they take your luggage to the room. A staff member guides you to your room and explains when the shuttle leaves, where to go to explore the hotel, breakfast and public bath times. The public bath is open between 3pm and 1am, closes for cleaning than opens again from 5am to 10am and closes for cleaning again. During each cleaning they switch the male and female public bathing zones so everyone has a chance to experience each bath. I chose a room with a private bath and a mountain view. The private bath is small but big enough for 2 people if you're both sitting, it also has a window that opens up. The view is stunning. Breakfast starts around 7am and last service is at 8:30am. If you stay 2 nights they will give 2 different breakfasts. Green tea, coffee, juice and milk are the only drinks at breakfast. Soft drink is available at reception during the afternoon. The Hilda beef steak meal provided by the hotel racks up the price with it being $70 AUD per person and for comparison, in town, a similar meal was around $40 AUD per person. If you really want a dinner at the hotel than try out the paid dinner but there's a few good spots to eat in town. There's this one restaurant called Senda that is a good price and just left of the big hotel direction sign at the bottom of the mountain. If you are unsure of where to go than pick up the local food map at the town info office. Anyway, good hotel for a city getaway as well as an opportunity to take the Shinkansen and local train from Tokyo (4 hours from Tokyo but great views and easy transfer)

Molto lontano dalla stazione JR ma camminabile e avere servizio di trasferimento di autobus di cena e colazione sono inaspettatamente grandi Entrambi godevano il Hida wagyu così tanto, molto tendente e salito l'ambiente caldo è autentico, tradizionale e familiare distretti vicini sono raggiungibili

Il nostro soggiorno a Ryokan Gizan è stato un'esperienza davvero memorabile, una ryokan giapponese tradizionalmente costruita e decorata, con pavimenti tatami, porte scivolanti e un'atmosfera autentica che ti fa sentire completamente immersa nella cultura giapponese. It’s definitely a “must-visit” if you’re looking to experience traditional Japanese accommodation even a short stay of 2–3 nights is enough to make it special. Il ryokan è molto vecchio, che aggiunge al suo vero fascino, anche se potrebbe sentirsi un po' meno comodo per gli ospiti più richiesti, detto, è molto ben mantenuto e tutto è pulito e pensato. Le strutture di onsen sono state eccellenti un bagno pubblico e quattro bagni privati che si possono utilizzare liberamente.Dopo lunghi giorni di esplorazione, è stato un vero trattamento. Si raccomandano molto di prenotare con il pranzo tradizionale incluso. I pasti erano un'accentuazione: avevamo Yakiniku la prima notte e Shabu-shabu la seconda, entrambi con una fresca e generosa porzione di cibo delizioso. Il colazione era un set tradizionale giapponese, ben presentato e fatto con cura, anche se non abbastanza per il nostro gusto personale. La posizione è stupenda circondata da montagne, fiumi e alberi fioriti. Si sente tranquillo e lontano. Solo notare che le strutture come ATM o negozi di pasticceria sono limitate nelle vicinanze. Tuttavia, è ben collegato con l'autobus (solo a 3-minute passo dalla ryokan), che può portarti a Kamikochi o ai terminali a Takayama e Hirayu Onsen. Bus correno circa una volta all'ora, quindi è abbastanza gestibile. In generale, un fantastico soggiorno rilassante, unico, e altamente raccomandato per chiunque voglia sperimentare un lato più tradizionale e scenico del Giappone.

To be honest considering this has a 4 star rating I'm a bit disappointed. Generally speaking it is a nice place but there are small things that are lacking compared to other similar Onsen Hotels at the same price. For example they don't provide a basket to go to the onsen but only a cheap plastic bag. The Hotel itself is very old but well maintained and at least the general spaces use nice materials and decoration. Once you reach the room it becomes worse. The materials used in the room are very cheap (Vinyl Floor, Cheap Wallpaper that was put on very poorly). Some aspects of the room have been refurnished, like the sink but most of it seems to be original from the 60s-80s. The bathtub and Toilet are retro models. The Onsen baths are a mixed bag - the one on the third floor with Wood ceiling seems to be the newest and is the best of the three. The other two (panorama and first floor) are in dire need of refurbishing. They seem in very bad condition and extremly old. The worst part (for me) was the Breakfast. 90% of the selection was japanese Style (and even that seemed poor). Western Options were only Pancakes, French Toast (which was good at least) and a few sad pieces of low quality bread with condiments. They didn't even have a coffee machine!!! Only pre-brewed coffee that tasted like water.
