Jiangsu, Cina: hotel con terme

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, vicinissima a Shantang Street, al Giardino Lingering e al Tempio di Xiyuan, praticamente tutto raggiungibile a piedi. Abbiamo provato le prelibatezze di Shantang Street, i noodle vegetariani del Tempio di Xiyuan e persino il famoso negozio di wonton di Qiujuan (raggiungibile a piedi). La signorina alla reception è stata molto gentile, e poiché eravamo in una camera familiare, ci ha offerto una colazione extra e un late check-out. La camera era complessivamente molto pulita e ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio. Al momento del check-out, la signorina della reception ci ha anche regalato un ventaglio ricamato e un martelletto da massaggio per la salute 🌹

Vivere al cima della montagna è una grande esperienza!Dopo che i turisti della zona sceneggiata si sono dispersi, godono solo della bellezza dell'intera montagna, vedendo il tramonto e l'alba.Il processo di facile lunga durata è molto attento, molto felice, portandoci a visitare il palazzo di notte e fare una spiegazione vivace e interessante. La qualità del sonno è anche molto buona. Non ho dormito così bene per molto tempo.C'è un vantaggio nascosto che vive qui: brucia la testa!E'solo quindici il giorno, e brucia la testa a più di sei del mattino. Una bottiglia di noccioline calde per la colazione, e'stato facile fare caffè, e' molto piacevole bere caffè in cima alla montagna. Una volta è difficile dimenticare un viaggio molto felice e fortemente raccomandato di soggiornare (vivere al cima della montagna ha un vantaggio unico. Se sei amici che cercano lo standard di hotel a cinque stelle, non fare di nuovo:)

💯The lady who checked us in on Day 1 was very good, but the staff did not wear any name tag so I can’t remember her name. We found that she is the only one who was prompt and alert to guests needs. She helped upgrade us to a room that is more handicap friendly, as my husband was on crutches. She also helped us order takeaway using her private mobile phone when the restaurant on site was closed for lunch as we had no china mobile phone number to order take away. 💯The location is great by the lake and near the Tianmu Lake scenic park. 💯Outdoor hot spring staff on duty are attentive and polite. She even instructed the buggy driver to the nearest point to pick us when she noticed that my husband had difficulty walking. However the buggy driver did not pick us from the recommended point as she gave the excuse that her buggy driving skills are not good enough. Therefore we had to walk a longer way to be picked up, which puzzled everyone as there was more than enough space and a road for buggy entry…. ❌ Not enough staff, especially at dinner and breakfast. Food is slow to come at dinner even though we pre-ordered. Waited 30 mins and more. Staff are loud clearing the crockery, and had no sense of regard for those still dinning. ❌tour groups arrive in the evening by the bus load. The hotel did not feel premium with the crowd who were very loud. ❌the private hot spring in the room only had a fixed temperature of more than 40 degrees which made it very uncomfortable when the external temperature is more than 30 degrees. The solution was to mix it with cold water via tap, which was very slow and impractical. The hot water needs to be filled up by the staff, and you have to call them. ❌not suitable for those with difficulty walking or elderly. ideal to have your own car. 🤔Overall, I did not feel that I made a good choice with this booking. There are others private hot spring room near Yu Shui hot spring / Bamboo sea area for a better value and premium feel. 🫥I would also caution against the 100 yuan fish coupon - it is a discount coupon to offset about a third of the price of the dish, not a complimentary coupon for a fish head casserole. I did not receive the welcome gift so I can’t comment. The public hot springs has 4 pools.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

The free hot springs were amazing, although I don't like all the things they add to each pool, would be better if there were more just water. Room is big and clean.

We have stayed one weekend at the banyan tree. Overall we have a very diverse experience with that hotel. All staff was very friendly and this balanced towards the missing 5 star sense of service of some. Some things were a bit chaotic and not aligned. The breakfast was ok, but I had already much better ones in other and cheaper 5 star hotels in China. The western restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner. But the food was available and served in the lobby bar. The quality of the food was good. The Chinese restaurant we haven't tried, it was comparable a bit too expensive for us. The hotel is only about 4 years old, and it seems it was a very huge investment. Amazing architecture! But, the building quality is partially very poor. But still, I would expect from a brand like banyan tree and a professional hotel management to keep the hotel well maintained. This does not cost a fortune. The room was ok. But some details were already wear out. At the hot spring area, some details wear already broken and not cleaned properly. The shower was in a disgusting condition, it looks like this was never cleaned in the last year's. There was even huge mold on the glass doors! The steam sauna was smelling and far to hot set. Little helpful bathroom amenities were missing too. What we liked: the architecture, the quiet and relaxing surrounding. The hot spring water and pools were nice especially to have one at the balcony of our room. A great hotel for me is one which I would always like to come back again. So in this case? Would we come back? I must say, even though we like some things. We would not come back, especially not for the regular room rates. A pity for such a hotel, it has so much potential.

Soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters while surrounded by nature was pure bliss and the perfect way to unwind. • Breathtaking views – Every glance out the window rewarded us with stunning scenery that made mornings and evenings truly special. • Comfortable, well-appointed rooms – Spacious, clean, and cozy with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were especially comfortable! Whether you're traveling with family or seeking a peaceful retreat, this hotel delivers on every front. La ricezione al check-in avrebbe dovuto spiegare tutto questo al check-in, ma forse non sono addestrati, o forse perché la nostra accomodazione al pinecone è considerata 4 stelle, quindi hanno impiegato personale di qualità inferiore. Tutto il bagno è un po' lama e il servizio era povero, tranne per la signora artigianale che ci ha mostrato un app di scheda per l'hotel dove si può trovare un buono d'attività gratuito. Hanno subordinato l'area di attività in modo che la decisione è davvero sbagliata, perché danneggia l'immagine del marchio a causa dei livelli di servizio. Per il personale dell'hotel, si inclina fino alle signore della navetta, che si chiamano a venire da un posto all'altro. Sono pronte e veloci. Servizio: il controllo del personale era professionale ma non caldo. Come è stato detto, la zona di attività è stata outsourced, quindi la maggior parte del personale è freddo e sembrava rude, tranne per la signora artigianale che era davvero decente. Ma considerando questo resort e il tipo di ospite, mi sembra davvero un peccato. La camera è molto pulita, un po' indossata (vedi foto di parete), ma si sente piuttosto pulita.
