UUtente ospiteWe stayed in a very spacious room with queen sized bed, plenty of storage and shelfs, spotless clean. Lighting is nice. Bed is of the right softness to let me have a good sleep before my Tongariro Crossing the next day. They also offer Tongariro shuttle service but I only learnt this when I arrived the motel. The host is super friendly and she showed us everything we need to know to get prepared for the Crossing. Communal kitchen provided us everything we need, it's also very clean and spacious. The motel is around 30min drive to the end points of the Crossing cause we booked a one way shuttle which will bring us to the start of the Crossing. Location is fantastic. Restaurants nearby was busy around Easter holiday, so we decided to cook ourselves, which is also nice. The temperature of the motel is just right which makes you feel so comfortable and dry. I will come back again if I will do Tongariro Crossing again in the future.

RRobertSono rimasto qui solo perché ero stanco di guidare. Ci sono un sacco di ristoranti e un supermercato, quindi in questo senso la posizione è buona, ma non credo che ci sia molto interessante nelle vicinanze.
La stanza era grande: molto pulita, spaziosa, la doccia era pulita e le tue asciugamani profumavano freschi. Anche lo shampoo, il condizionatore e il lavaggio del corpo erano molto bello, non come le cose che si ottiene regolarmente a buon mercato. Così in tutto un grande posto per riposare.

UUtente ospiteIch war schon im letzten Jahr in dem Motel und es hat uns gut gefallen. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Deshalb bin ich in diesem Jahr wieder hin und ich kann nur sagen, freundlich ist noch nicht übertrieben. Dieses Jahr alleine und in der Hütte untergebracht mit gemeinsamen Wasch/ und Duschgelegenheit. Hat vollkommen ausgereicht.
Wurde vom Motel zum Startplatz des Tongariro gebracht und am Ende wieder abgeholt. Einfach nur super! Ich bin über 75 Jahre und ich spreche nur schlecht englisch. Aber die Inhaberin hat mir unter den Gästen einen Familie aus Deutschland vermittelt, die übersetzt hat. Super! Ein Einsatz der nur gelobt werden kann.

UUtente ospiteWe travelled to Taihape for one of my sisters funerals and upon waking up in the morning we discovered that there was no hot water in our room, or for that matter in the whole block of rooms. Because of this we weren't able to shower before leaving the hotel.
The Owners/Managers were made aware of the situation and they discovered that the hot water cylinders for the block had ruptured.
No alternative or compensation was offered.
Very disappointing as we paid full price of $162 for our room for one night.
Will never stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Le attrezzature per cucinare sono ben attrezzate, quindi è conveniente.
Biancheria da letto pulita e confortevole.
Buono anche il Wi-Fi.
Se hai bisogno di soggiornare a Palmerston North, Fitzroy Motel è un'ottima scelta.

UUtente ospiteWe had a great stay! Front desk was friendly and helpful. The rooms and the place was clean. We arrived at the start of winter season, not too many guests so we had the place almost to ourselves. The amenities was great, they had a lot of DVDs for entertainment, and the common kitchen was clean and well maintained. We also ate at the cafe which was delicious. The location was walking distance to the groceries, the tourist information center and other eateries. Overall a great stay!

UUtente ospiteBig spaced and one bedroom, check in was smooth. Very much enjoyed our stay, did regret not booking another night while in the region. Definitely will be staying here again when we pass through Palmerston North. So close to the town centre within walking distance to super market, takeaways and the town Mall. Love it. Comfortable beds and smelt clean 🙂

UUtente anonimoGreat hosts, upgraded us to a very spacious unit with our own laundry which was much appreciated after a week on the road. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. I took Neil's advice and went for a walk around the nearby gardens and finished with an icecream from the service station. Fabulous! Would definitely stay again.

UUtente anonimoNice Kiwi motel. Actually I really appreciated it because it was super clean. Quite tidy, very good hot shower and nice location by the river with an easy 10 min walk to town. Comfortable bed, very clean sheets & bedding. TV was a bit old & limited channels but no time for watching TV. Would definitely stay again.

UUtente ospiteWe really enjoyed our stay at this motel - it was basic but met all our needs. Very clean. Comfortable beds and walking distance to town. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and there were lovely personal touches such as fudge on arrival - very thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
