Location is very good, close to everywhere! Walking distance to city centre, restaurants, Riverside Market and Botanical Gardens. Very near to bus stop to Airport, bus no. 8. It’s convenience to have kitchens and lounge here. King room ensuite is a perfect and spacious room with attached bathroom and private balcony! Will sure come back again!

Situato vicino alla divertente strada Regent; con molti ristoranti e bar, vicino al centro convenzionale e alla cattedrale, ma un po' più lontano dal mercato Riverside ecc (10-15 min passeggiata). Il personale è amichevole, la cucina è davvero grande e ha tutto, con la perdita di frigo e spazio di magazzinaggio. Ho prenotato la stanza per me, era molto comodo. Forniscono grandi asciugamani, che è bello. Tuttavia, nessun asciugacapelli. Dritto vicino al bus fermo all'aeroporto.

Due to the season, all the hotels in the area were booked out, so I had to stay in a dormitory room in this hotel. The hotel itself is nice. The room was very small, but clean and ok for this type of room. There is a shared kitchen, rest area, as well as laundry which is great. The location is 15-20 mins walk from the town center, but it’s ok. However, the service is not good. It was the male manager who checked me in. When I asked the manager if there was a breakfast option, he laughed at my face and told me: “Girl, your room is like what, 30 bucks and you want breakfast?”. This was really rude and unacceptable. Moreover, I didn’t even mean for the breakfast to be included in the room price, but wondered if I could buy one since I don’t have much experience of living in hostels. Therefore, I deduct some point for such an arrogant behavior from the staff who represent the hotel.

Avevo un buon soggiorno qui! L'albero bagpacker era pulito, comodo e aveva un'atmosfera molto amichevole. Il personale era utile e la posizione era conveniente per esplorare la zona. Conosceva molti viaggiatori fantastici durante il mio soggiorno. Sicuramente consigliere per i viaggiatori di bilancio!

Lovely location, just a few minutes walk to town. Close by restaurants and shops. Easy check-in process, and the place is clean. It's slightly cold though, one of the hot showers is not hot enough. Otherwise, we had a great time staying here. Tekapo is lovely in the winter!

UUtente ospiteMy friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the parking was convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was also great—close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to the city. Overall, it’s a good choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

DDave GutsellExcellent facilities, including the free shuttle bus transfer to and from the Airport direct to the motel. The food in the Restaurant/Bar is absolutely delicious including the best eggs Benedict with salmon I've ever had. The salmon was first class and thanks to your awesome chefs. UUtente ospiteYou cannot get closer to Mt Cook than staying on property in their national park. The rooms are like mini apartments with a full kitchen, dining and spacious sleeping area. There is a walk out terrace in the back. The price for this ensuite was less than the Hermitage but I believe a better value for the quality. We spent 2 nights here to actually wind down (1 night is too short) and take advantage of the trails. There are so many. As we knew we were getting rainy weather going in, we picked up some groceries n Twizel to make soup and salad on the first night. We did a walkthrough of the museum and planetarium show which is a short drive (4 minutes). For our last night, we dined at the Alpine buffet restaurant in the Hermitage which had an amazing assortment and local seafood (cured Aoraki salmon, prawns, mussels). We thoroughly enjoyed and took advantage of all that this area offered. Beautiful natural setting. You will not be disappointed staying here. The word motel is deceiving as it's more like mini-suites.

Camminare all'Hotel Hermitage o al Visitor Centre è circa 15 minuti o così. Da Visitor Centre, si può camminare per ****** Valley track o Kea Point track, ogni è 1 ora di distanza. La gente di Hakka House abita per una notte, ma per entrambe le notti i miei compagni di stanza si sono spegniti le luci della stanza fino alle 9.30. La stanza è troppo stufa e calda, perché sembra che solo un centimetro della finestra sia aperta, probabilmente troppo fredda se si apre la finestra più. La camera da bagno è relativamente tesa (molto dipende dagli utenti), ma sembra che ci sia solo un asciugacapelli per l'intero pavimento che non è conveniente. Immagina che una signora con capelli lunghi debba usarlo per almeno 15 minuti o così e ci sono molte signore che devono usare il asciugacapelli. La cucina è impressionante, ben mantenuta e pulita, ben ventilata.
