We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Super location, the personal was super kind and leaves me everything with a super explanation I’ve Been very gratefull with find a warm place in the middle of the cold. Very near yo Diamond beach and the glaciar

The hostel is about 35 mins from Vik town and it is in the middle of other vacation houses by the owner. Rooms are clean and spacious and there is a fully equipped kitchen. If you are lucky, you can see the northern lights too!

La stanza è molto soleggiata, la sanità è buona, l'ambiente è piccolo ma è sporco! L'unico difetto è che il problema dell'isolamento acustico deve essere migliorato. Ma come popolo, l'ambiente è buono, molto vicino al centro della città, e le strade di camion e di camion sono molto convenienti!

You have to do self check in, unfortunately the hostel didn’t send me any check in instructions. It took us time to get the immediate contact before getting in.

I'm very pleasant with the hotel. You need to drive in order to come to this place. The rooms are clean with very decent space. Nice mountain view too. Will recommend for sure.

La colazione è buona, il servizio è molto buono, vale la pena restare la prossima volta.

Il spazio familiare è grande, ci sono due catene in alto e in basso. Il primo piano è un ristorante, ci sono giocattoli per bambini, sciarpe, il primo piano è un frigorifero pubblico che può immagazzinare temporaneamente il cibo. Cinque minuti a piedi sono caldi.
