ostello a Lincoln

Ho avuto un piccolo problema con un agente di servizio frontale, ma il direttore del turno l'ha immediatamente risolto. La sala per il titanio e l'ambasciatore è davvero buona, la colazione e la ricezione serale (hors d'ouvre) sono sorprendenti. È come la mia quarta volta qui e mi sembra che questo sia il miglior hotel a Lincoln, Nebraska.

Questo motel è il punto di mezzo tra Colorado e Denver per noi, e proprio fuori l'autostrada ... dentro il mio (frugal) bilancio. I più vecchi recensioni mi hanno dato una pausa, ma notando i più recenti, ho prenotato per il nostro viaggio fuori, e indietro. Sto seduto nella sala colazione, scrivendo la mia prima recensione per un hotel. Anche se eravamo vicino ad un aeroporto, non abbiamo sentito niente. Pensando a questo, un aeroporto più piccolo, probabilmente non aveva molti se non in mezzo ai voli notturni. Abbiamo anche una stanza sul lato sud (front) lontano dall'aeroporto, e l'unità AC che si è installata sul fan nella nostra stanza era un grande rumore bianco. La stanza era molto pulita, comoda a letto (anche se sul lato più duro per coloro che amano il soft) e il manager che ho incontrato stamattina, Neil, era un tipo molto amichevole, che si trovava davvero quando volevo spengere sul mio portatile un po' più tardi nel La notte scorsa il manager ha anche suggerito di volerci una stanza sul lato dove la nostra auto era parcheggiata con un rimorchio a moto con luci luminose (in front, non sul lato dell'aeroporto).Molto pensativo! Sto aspettando il nostro viaggio di ritorno sulla strada di ritorno.

Non ero mai stato a Lincoln prima di prenotare una stanza qui per la notte del 1° agosto 2022. L'hotel non è facile da trovare, e all'epoca che ho fatto il sole aveva già stabilito. Sto trascinando nel parcheggio scuro, ero più che un po' preoccupato per le persone che si attaccano intorno ad alcune delle auto del parcheggio, giocando a musica e scalzando l'un l'altro. Quando entrava nel lobby, un giovane con le chiappe di paura e una maglietta sporca si avvicinò da una stanza posteriore. - Arrivo? - disse. - Sì, gli ho detto, ho una prenotazione. Quindi, infilandomi su un foglio di carta sul contore davanti a me, dicendo: - Firma qui, - puntando, - e mi servirà una carta di credito per gli incidenti. Per favore, notate che avevo già usato una carta di debito per riservare la stanza, quindi perché avrebbe bisogno di nuovo per ”incidente”? Ho profumato un truffatore, ma invece di sottolinearlo, gli ho semplicemente detto che non avrei bisogno di incidenti. - No, non è troppo tardi - rispose il ragazzo. - Grazie, - disse, e subito se n’è andato. Il giorno dopo ho controllato la mia dichiarazione bancaria e, certamente, il ragazzo mi aveva mentito e andato avanti e mi ha prelevato quasi 100 dollari per la stanza. Le chiamate telefoniche ripetute al manager del New Victorian sono andate senza risposta. Ovviamente le buone recensioni che vedete qui e altrove sono completamente Non credere a loro come ho fatto e distruggere questo posto se sai cosa ti fa bene.

L'appartamento della stanza è vecchio, gli altri sono molto buoni.

Online this hotel looks clean and up to Best Western Standards. Unfortunately, it is not. When we showed up we were very politely greeted by the manager/owner and checked in to our room. Upon entering our room, the smell of lingering cigarette smoke hit us. This hotel is advertised as non-smoking, so this was a surprise to us. Then, upon further investigation of our room we found multiple sources of filth. The standing mirror had handprints all over it, there were old cigarette ashes on the nightstand, a large pile of hardened wax on the floor and bed, and there was still dried urine on the toilet. Immediately we packed up our bags and headed to speak with the manager that checked us in. He was very kind and reimbursed our room for the night. He also said he’d be happy to get us into a clean room, but at that point I didn’t know what to expect in the other rooms so we left and went to a Holiday Inn Express. I hope they are able to speak with their cleaning staff and the previous guests to deal with the smoke smell and wax. The other items are poor house keeping. Hopefully in the future nobody else has this experience with them. Beware, photos online aren’t always the experience you’re getting into. We learned our lesson this time.
