I want to thank hosts of Akari no yado personally. The hosts were nice and worked really hard to feel ourselves at home. The place was clean and the common room was big and comfortable. Bathroom was old fashioned but if you want modern bathrooms you were able to use the bath house for showers and toilets in the common area. Breakfast is made of pastries and all I had was pretty delicious. You can also have marmalade and margarine with breakfast pastries and there are drinks (tea/coffee/milk/juice) to choose from. We checked out early and hosts prepared our breakfast to go even if it wasn’t breakfast time yet. They even drove us to the station when we asked if they would be able to call us a taxi! Bath house was spacious with two different baths. System is easy and we were able to use it whenever we wanted (between 16.00-23.00 of course). They are giving free rental yukatas and they were so comfy. They also have guides everywhere to help you (our room even had a guide on how to prepare a futon bed!) the place felt like we were part of a  family and that was the most amazing part for me. I even got teary eyed when it was time to go. Thank you Akari no yado! Hope to see you soon again!

It was the perfect place for me to reset and refresh. The hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature and has a hot spring, just what I needed in a getaway from the big city. The common space is designed beautifully and has two very comfortable kitchens, big fridges, and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, one night the hostel even arranged a hot pot dinner. First I stayed in a standard room but I ended up extending my stay here, this time in the women's only dormitory. Both the private room and the dormitory room were very comfortable and had everything I needed. Long walks was just what I needed but it looks like there's quite a lot to do around if you drive just a little bit, so I would recommend coming by car or renting one at the train station. I can't wait for my next visit here.

Che luogo fantastico per soggiornare - Kas e sua moglie ci hanno resi estremamente benvenuti e hanno fornito eccellenti consigli di ristorante e luoghi per visitare. Le camere erano pulite senza spot e il colazione era eccellente (con succhi, yogurt, ham e omeletta e frutta, più tosta e tè/caffè). Le camere sono grandi e il letto è confortevole. La doccia era anche super pulita. È montana dalla stazione Nikko Tobu, ma si può facilmente ottenere un taxi dalla stazione per 1,000/1,100 (£ 5/6) che salva il trasporto del bagaglio. Camminare brevemente per il fiume Kirifuri che è bella e se sei fortunato si vedrà i scimmie lungo il cammino. Non potevo raccomandare più forte e attendere con ansia di tornare in futuro!

Il proprietario della casa è così dolce e accogliente. Ci ha dato tutto su Nikko al suo migliore conoscenza e anche ci ha mostrato intorno alla casa. Ci ha anche fornito il bf gratuito nonostante non fosse incluso. Ci ha dato qualcosa che ha fatto prima di andare via. Viene di nuovo. Grazie Obachannnn 😄 Solo il basso è che il fumo puzza di lingerie intorno alla stanza perché Ojiisan fuma 😂

The guesthouse is quite a way from Nikko town (10-15 mins by bus / 1 hour walk) but is in a good location for getting to the shrines or to Lake Ashi - there's a bus stop close by. The guesthouse was homely and had 2 private onsen. Our room was comfortable enough although the en-suite was very tiny! The host was welcoming but didn't speak any English which meant we had to communicate by translating on our phones. We booked to have breakfast at the guesthouse, but didn't realise that for booking the dinner we needed to give 24 hours+ notice so missed out!

Tutto è stato fantastico! Viviamo qui per tre giorni nell'aprile 2024. I ospiti sono molto amichevoli e attenti. Colazione e cena erano molto deliziosi e grandi, quindi non volevamo nemmeno mangiare durante la passeggiata in pomeriggio. La stanza è pulita e pulita. Il posto è tranquillo e bello. Vicino a un grande supermercato con tutto quello necessario. Il bus ferma al tramonto e il lago è anche molto vicino. Anche vicino è un pubblico disgusto, ci sono anche un buon riposo. In generale ci piaceva tutto molto! Grazie!

Hotel con il miglior rapporto prezzo-prezzo che si possa avere a Kinugawa. Le strutture con giardino sono fresche, il servizio è di alta qualità. Per quanto riguarda il nostro, è separato, ma ha solo un bagno, che si prevede da piccoli hotel. L'unica piccola inconvenienza che puoi incontrare è il rumore tardivo della notte che viene dalle porte aperte. In generale, l'esperienza è stata eccellente, e io scelgo di nuovo questo posto.

The hotel locates nearby Nikko, the world herritage area, just 4 km. from the hotel. Our room is very big, clean, and good maintained. There are 5-6 private onsen rooms, available and enough for guests. The hotel owner gave us warm welcome and services with very reasonable price. Recommend for the one who wants to stay and travel in Nikko!!

Honestly one of my best stays in a while. Felt hospitable, comfortable, snd connected to nature. It feels very mom/pop kind of place which means you dont have tge newest or most common things, but you have options. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

Il piccolo popolo giapponese ha troppe critiche. Ogni volta che si apre, è molto informativo e fortemente raccomandato. Le condizioni sanitarie e le strutture termiche sono conformi alle aspettative. La maggior sorpresa è la posizione, che si trova alla porta di un piccolo e unico pieno di ghiandole. Coloca il bagaglio. Una persona è andata a casa senza nessuno e si è presa rapidamente. L'orecchio è un rumore d'acqua. È una pizza seduto davanti a una serie di modi diversi, L'esperienza è misteriosa.Vai alla stazione, un po'difficile, tornare a giocare, il prezzo è accettabile, circa 1500 yen in un solo viaggio.
