first of all. the building is amazing. the decoration is gorgeous, the rooms feel totally japanese and there are so many stuffed animals, artworks and decorative things all over the house. the public bath was also very clean and looked great. unfortunately the water was too hot for me to take a bath. in my room I encountered 3 ladybugs, I just picked them up and threw them out of the window. the reception is managed by an old but kind lady, which does not speak a single word of english, but I still could communicate with her and she even dried my shoes. the toilets are very old and I recommend to take the toilet on the firet floor, because they are more modernized. the house itself is close to the woods. the check-in was smooth. the room provided towels, a yukata, a refrigerator, tv. and air conditioning

This place is just 5 minutes away from ishiuchi maruyama ski gondola. Great value place to stay which is easily bookable. Owner provided transfer to and from echigo yuzawa station. Very friendly and even helped to carry the heavy luggage up the car and to our room. No lift access which is very common in smaller places like these. Two private bathhouse available for sharing. Rental price is great and he took great effort in ensuring fit. Also discounted gondola prices available. Breakfast was delicious which was included too. Overall owner and his wife are very warm to all the customers. Would stay here again!

Keiko era un ospedale carino. Era molto amichevole e benvenuta nella zona. Era disponibile per qualsiasi domanda che abbiamo avuto e poteva anche offrire un colazione fresca/dinnero a un prezzo molto basso. Il parcheggio era gratuito dietro l'alloggio, che era grande, perché avevamo la nostra entrata/uscita dopo le ore. La stanza era spaziosa, ma mentre il riscaldamento non era molto forte, il letto era estremamente caldo e confortevole. Sarebbe più che felice di restare qui di nuovo ogni volta che siamo nella zona!

Very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible despite minimal English and our non existent Japanese. They kindly kept our bags after checkout and we could leave electric bikes there overnight.

Bene e male.Molto pulito.Grande posizione.Personale amichevole.Un po' troppo accento su come indossare le scarpe all'interno e all'esterno nei locali fino al punto in cui è un po'difficile e incomodo. I letti non erano materassi, ma un mattone, che era molto incomodo addormentarsi.

Very near to Nakazato Yuzawa station. Very friendly lady boss and everything is good. Limited food choice while there is a Thai restaurant nearby and a FamilyMart which require farther walk. Will recommend to those intending to do winter activity at Nakazato Ski resort.

Great stay at a Japanese bed and breakfast style accomodation. Owners are an elderly Japanese couple who speaks average English but we get by. Free transport to and fro ski slopes even though they are a 1.2 km walk away from Akakura Onsen main street. Owner was also kind enough to drive us to the train station for our rest day from snowboard. Breakfast was great! Room had attached toilets and were super clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Will stay here again next time I come to Myoko Kogen

Molto buona posizione per la snowboard! Noleggiano anche sci/ snowboard e altre cose e biglietti. Solo 1 minuto alla stazione centrale gondola/ ascensore. La ricezione è stata amichevole per turisti stranieri e per la tradizionale camera giapponese e bagno.

Very tiny room. No check in counter. Even though we were the only guests, owner won't allow us extra pillows. Their pillows are sooooo soft. Security wise, anyone can walk into the guest room areas. Sure there's cameras but...

Excellent guesthouse with excellent hosts. Had everything I needed, a room to sleep, a mini bath house, and they served delicious breakfast and dinner. Close to snow resort and shuttle bus service. Would stay again.
