Lovely friendly place next to the river. Plenty of parking facilities just over the bridge which is approx five minute walk.  The room itself is spacious enough although for some may be a little dated. Bed is comfortable with a lovely duvet and pillows. Only downside was the curtains which are not blackout so do let in too much light for me but heyho I still had a reasonable night sleep  To get to the room we stayed in, we had to walk up a spiral staircase which for some people, this could be a struggle as the steps have been assembled quite tightly due to space so make the steps on the small side, there is obviously a handrail so coming down side ways helps.  Breakfast was continental consisting of fruit, cereal, yoghurt ( which was exceptionally tasty) toast etc. An English breakfast was offered at an additional cost but we preferred this option.  All in all a lovely place to stay with friendly welcoming hosts who were on hand to offer advise and assistance should you need it.

A must stay for couples! The view was incredible (you can see in the photos below)! We also had a fantastic meal at The Rockfish restaurant, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient for all the shops/bars/restaurants in the harbour. The parking provided by the hotel was at the harbour itself, and was very convenient. We used self check-in, it was so quick and easy we could just get on with our short trip and waste no time! At breakfast we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, aside from the delicious (made to order) breakfast, the service was incredible. Highly recommend!

Cosy, clean, and with a warm welcome for all, treat yourself to an exceptionally great stay at a reasonable price.

If you are not sure where to stay - don’t waste any time looking elsewhere, I can 100% recommend staying at Arran Lodge. We were so impressed with how well we were looked after, a clean and kept room with everything you might possibly need, including a welcome treat - homemade cake, space to park the car outside the house, a welcome reception and the most wonderful breakfast choice! Sono sempre felice con il centro di svago e il spa, ma il posto non è proprio così bene guardato e il def non è nuovo. C'era un rumore tutta la notte che sembrava avere a che fare con il sistema di ventilazione o qualcosa del genere. Non è la prima volta che sono rimasto qui così abbastanza sicuramente che doveva fare con la posizione della camera specifica che ho soggiornato a 122

L'hotel è molto vicino alla stazione, quindi non è difficile avere una valigia. Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile e cerca di fornire un buon servizio. La stanza dell'hotel era buona, ma era incomfortabile che fosse una camera da bagno condivisa. Naturalmente non c'erano molti ospiti e non c'era segretezza, quindi non c'era alcuna inconvenienza nell'uso della camera da letto, ma era un po' inconfortabile uscire dalla stanza e usare la camera da letto. A parte questo, il colazione dell'hotel era buono, e tutto il resto era buono.

Wonderful stay Sam the barman was a superstar rescuing us from the cliff walk before dark. Thanku Sam for Yr kindness and help and carrying our bag! Overall stay was amazing. Clean and fresh room. Breakfast was outstanding with loads of choice. Service was fabulous. The cleaner was so helpful when we needed info Thanks everyone. And Sam we are so grateful. We thought we may have to camp on South West path over night!!!

We booked a room with a sea view. Clearly stated this in the booking and on Trip. Apparently that means nothing according to the manager and the fact that you can book one doesn’t mean you’ll get it he said. I doubt there are sea views from any room as the pub is up a side road. Still, very good location. The member of staff who greeted us could not have been nicer. Close to good restaurants.

La struttura di Thorton inferiore è situata in un luogo di fattoria idylica. Il bellissimo ambiente e la scena rendono chiunque ignorare il tempo di viaggio al sud-ovest. L'alloggio presso la proprietà è ben servito e curato da Alison che la mantiene accuratamente pulita . La posizione è molto tranquilla e pacifica e inciterebbe chiunque a cercare un buon paio di giorni di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate di giornate
