We planned to stay at this hotel 3 years ago and our plan just resumed after Covid situation is not a key concern anymore. At first, we were quite worried about what we would get from the hotel after kept reading many negative reviews; however, we made a final decision to stick to our plan and it is the right decision! Everything was just perfect for us, especially its location. - Our room is clean and cozy. It has everything we need and a log fire to make us warm after hiking the whole day under the rain and a strong wind. No tv and wifi in the room but it is not our problem. We spent our 2 nights to enjoy the nature surrounding our room and Cradle Mt National Park. A telephone signal was quite strong, so we did not need free wifi at all. - All staffs were friendly and helpful. We sent many emails to confirm our booking, ask about hotel information, and make a reservation for our breakfast/dinner. They reply us promptly and provided all information we needed. Check-in and check-out process is really quick and staffs at the reception gave us a map and suggested us the track to walk around the hotel. - Foods are not bad as we expected as many reviews mentioned. Breakfast at Highland is on average and the choice of foods is not variety which is normal for the remote accommodation. If you would like to get the best slot for your breakfast, better book a table in advance. We also tried to have both lunch and dinner at Tavern Bar on the first day and we decided to spend for our dinner at Highland Restaurant on the second day. At dinner time, it is quite packed at Tavern Bar and it took more time to wait for a food which is understandable and please be patient. Booking at Highland is required and they have only set menu which is worth to try. - Only one thing is the room rate is a little bit pricey but it is understandable. It is only the hotel located in Cradle Mt. National Park, the remote accommodation that provide the best spot to access all hiking tracks in this park. If you would like to get some short rest after long hour hiking and the most convenient stay before and after hiking in Cradle Mt, this place is the most perfect and has everything you need!

i stayed two nights at captain cook caravan park 28 29 0f December, i arrived late parked my camper in a plot, went to the office the next day, soon has i walked in the door you could feel the tension? lady was ok, told her i owed her a night. has i came late last night and your office was close? she gave me a new sight to park my van, when i went round there the site i thought was mine had a caravan on it. so, i parked my car, in a non-powered site but suited me. thought i better tell the manager, he was cleaning the toilets. i was happy in a good mood, i said i could not park in the plot you gave me has there is a caravan ＞ there, WELL he went right of this man is so stressed out rude bad temper, he said that's not the sight do not come winging to me, Go see her in the office, i said your stressed-out mate? he threatened to kick me of the site and said something like. he has a sore hand, or arm, i must say i was not angry, i found it funny, and was concern for his blood pressure? it was like faulty towers? Bassil faulty? , park facilities ok for me . great fish and chips up the boat cruse trip up the rd

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a powered, ensuite site during an RV tour of Tasmania Reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the store is very well stocked Our drive through site was big enough for the largest of RVs and there is more than adequate space between sites There is a gravel base next to the parking area which means you can easily put up your awning and table/chairs The wonderful ensuite was up a couple of steps and well away from the van area There is a walking track directly from the park through bush, down to the beach and on to the heritage site but I would say this is not really suitable for the older travellers as it is steep in parts. Unfortunately Tasmania saved it’s worst weather for our visit and we were unable to complete our tours around Port Arthur historic site but the bonus was that we were able to watch the local pademelons foraging around our RV Not the cheapest of sites but I would say it is fairly good value for money

We stayed in the Roland Cottage which far exceeded our expectations for only $180 a night in peak season. It’s a little further away from Cradle than most of the main hotels, but in a way we liked this better as it was quiet and peaceful - there aren’t many cottages and they are set right against beautiful bushland, making you feel like you’re in the forest. The cottage has a well-appointed kitchen with all the cookware you could possibly need, plus a microwave, kettle, fridge, stove and dishwasher. Coffee, tea and sugar were also provided. Best part of all though was a huge spa bath with bubble bath provided, lovely after a long day of hiking! We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great little place to stay, very conveniently located between Maria Island ferry and the Freycinet peninsula. Cottage was clean and had access to a fireplace and wood. Lots of room for kids to run and play and sandpits and swings next to cabins. Got to see lots of farm animals including baby deer. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Sia Karen che Bob sono ospiti amichevoli. Siamo arrivati tardi la sera che Karen ha immediatamente raccomandato alcuni ristoranti vicino a noi per cenare. Poi la mattina dopo abbiamo avuto un grande e delizioso colazione con vista sul mare. Poi, quando andavamo a lasciare il B&B, abbiamo trovato un pneumatico piatto nella nostra auto. Bob era così utile a ripararlo per poter continuare il nostro viaggio. Apprezzava il loro aiuto e l'ospitalità. Freycinet Waters è molto raccomandato!

Kevin è il miglior ospite mai. Così utile e cucina un buon colazione come ti piace, con un buon caffè. Quando siamo arrivati tardi, ci ha dato istruzioni per entrare nella casa, la mia prima impressione non era così grande da essere onesta, con bussetti e sentieri date, ma l'ingresso nella nostra stanza era grande e spazioso e pulito. Ha avuto 3 grandi notti letto da letto è così comodo e sognoso. Bagno un po 'datato ma spazioso e pulito. Inoltre, una cucina e un'area da pranzo si può usare che è grande. Solo una breve passeggiata nella città così grande posizione. Nel complesso grande soggiorno per il prezzo.

Abbiamo goduto di un soggiorno di due notti qui in giugno. La nostra camera spaziale era convenientemente situata sul piano terra sul lato della Molle Street. Anche se il tempo era piuttosto freddo, eravamo caldi e confortevoli con un riscaldatore e un cavo elettrico in camera. Ci piaceva l'atmosfera di lusso dell'edificio storico, del mobilio e della decorazione interessanti, ma il bagno era vecchio ma funzionale e molto pulito. Il colazione è ben curato con una vasta gamma di cereali, pane, diffusi, latte e succhi disponibili per servirci nella sala colazione. John è un ottimo ospite e chiaramente pronto a fare un giro in più, perché ha dovuto aspettare tardi una notte per alcuni ospiti che non erano arrivati al momento previsto.Il nostro unico problema era il rumore del traffico dall'intersezione di Macquarie e Molle Street. Questo continuò fino a tardi e alla notte, e cominciò presto al mattino, eccetto per un soggiorno perfetto.

BnB Manor è ben mantenuta e designata. Situato a pochi passi dal quartiere shopping di Sandy Bay con una vasta gamma di ristoranti e caffè, pasticche e tutte le risorse. Le camere sono spaziose con un bellissimo letto di quattro poster e una mattress molto comoda. Un suite pulita e attrezzata garantisce la privacy. Un colazione continentale è fornito con varietà per adattarsi a ogni gusto. La sala colazione è vista sul giardino del cottage e è calda e confortevole. Un'area di soggiorno rilassante offre un posto tranquillo per scappare o rilassarsi, con un porto complimentare se si desidera partecipare. Una splendida permanenza, vicino a tutto, e una facile guida a tante attrazioni e tour della Tasmania. Una grande comunicazione dal nostro ospite, ci ha assicurato di non voler nulla. Siamo stati come il Signore e Lady del “Manor”. Altamente raccomandato.

Great location in bush setting. All informatiin sent in email before stay was helpful, so access was easy. Self contained cabin,with all you need, included. Great for short, or longer stays. Not far from city centre
