A shower is not simply a shower for me. A shower is a way of acclimating myself to the lucidity required to engage in everyday life. It is a way to mentally and physically prepare myself for whatever may lie ahead for me for the day. It's a routine that borders on a spiritual ritual to allow myself to function in the world at my maximum potential. I am not exaggerating, then, when I say my shower at The Inn and Spa at Loretto was one of the most uncomfortable experiences in my life. I awoke early in the morning in eager anticipation to enjoy everything Santa Fe has to offer, and as I watched the sun rise over the Sangre de Christo Mountains, marveling at the beauty of the New Mexico sunrise. All that was left for me was to take my shower and prepare for the day. Nothing could have prepared me for what happened next. I stepped into the bathroom and made my way over to the shower, and turned the knob as I always would to roughly halfway to initiate the process. As I anxiously waited to begin my shower routine, the bathroom quickly filled with steam. After the cool morning air this felt nice at first, but of course I didn't want to scald myself! I turned the faucet back towards the cool side as I stepped into the shower, expecting that I understood where I would reach a ”warm” temperature. Within seconds I was blasted with ice cold water as if straight from a glacier. Pain shot up my spine to my neck as the icy water rained upon me, and I reflexively turned the knob back towards the hot side, thinking I surely had found the ”happy medium”. Within moments I was engulfed in red hot water that felt as if it had just been boiled in a tea pot across my face and neck, stunning me yet again. Frustrated, I moved the shower head directly to the floor, spraying my feet with the same steaming water. I then carefully moved the faucet, one centimeter at a time towards the cold side, gauging the point at which the water would begin to cool. Amazingly, there was no change. After 10 or so careful movements of the knob, the water began to cool, to my great relief. However, within moments the ice cold water returned, once again sending shivers up my spine. After more experimentation and constant discomfort, it became clear that there were only two options for this shower: burning hot or ice cold. The rest of my shower was spent doing a horrible dance of moving between excessively hot and cold water, moving my body out of the water frequently to minimize the pain. I ultimately managed to do the bare minimum necessary to get myself clean, with the chance of a relaxing and revitalizing experience clearly being out of the question. This is not how I would want anyone to start their day, and I feel this should be unacceptable for a hotel with the stature and reputation of The Inn and Spa at Loretto. While the rest of my experience there was quite nice, this shower left me with an awful feeling for much of my day. I hope they are able to ensure that future guests do not have to go through an experience like this.

This quality Inn and suites was by far the nicest two star hotel I have ever stayed in! Everything worked… The staff is amazing… I loved it here and will stay here every time I come to Albuquerque!

Our stay at the Econo Lodge in Socorro, New Mexico so far exceeded our expectations that I was compelled to share our experience with others. Located on the main *****, and across the street from a Walmart, it is a slightly rundown area. But the motel is taken care of like it's situated in an oasis. The room offers just what is needed for a restful stay. The bed feels newish and is extremely comfortable. The air-conditioning is user-controlled, so the temperature was cool for us after a long day of driving in high-90s weather. There is a desk to work or write on; a refrigerator and freezer, which we used to store dinner leftovers; a microwave; and a single coffee maker with regular and decaffeinated coffee pods, same for tea, and even hot chocolate. The room has a table and chairs is comfortable to play games, eat dinner, or share a morning coffee for two. The room is extremely clean. And the stay was extremely quiet. The latter two points amazed us, because the price point of the hotel is very economical, and as soon as you open the front door, you hear noise from the main *****, businesses on all sides, and residents talking loudly. It's a well-made hotel, but it is a little older. So, for example, I was challenged in taking a bath since the plug no longer stays shut. The WiFi buffers from time-to-time, when using your computer. And the television (DirectTV) didn't work - it was offline when we turned it on right before bed. The front desk agent was happy to send someone to the room to reset it. It was our decision to forgo it, because we were having a lovely quiet evening and didn't really need to watch TV. If we'd arrived a little early (and next time we stay here) we'll walk to the courtyard and sit on one of the beautifully appointed wrought iron patio loveseats, around a fountain and flowers, and enjoy some reading time. And don't miss the complimentary breakfast. The attendant who has a lovely, welcoming personality makes you eggs, bacon, sausage; there's individual bread wrapped in plastic wrap (so, like the cleanliness of the room, it is made to ensure your safety). There is granola and two other healthy cereal options, waffles, bagels and cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, fresh coffee with liquid creamers, etc. It's tasty, convenient, and satisfying, and is included in the low price of the room. We can't recommend a motel more. We've stayed in so many, some as costly as $300 a night, and not had a better overall experience.

La mia esperienza è fantastica, tutto ciò che è stato fatto e niente che non si denuncia. Permettendo di controllare in anticipo, tutte le mie richieste sono state accolte. Alto piano, vista sulla piscina, vicino all'ufficio. La stanza era pulita e era di pavimento invece di un mattone. Non usava la piscina, ma era brillante e bello guardare. Pensava che la TV non funzionasse, ma una chiamata al divano frontale e mi hanno camminato attraverso come navigare. La porta frontale era pesante e aveva serrature rigide con un bollo morto. La colazione era grande. Solo una volta vide la casa intimi vicino alla proprietà, ma non in realtà su di essa. Quando ho lasciato il ghiaccio, non ho notato che la macchina del ghiaccio andava all'ufficio per chiedere.Hanno detto che non lavorava la macchina del ghiaccio sulla proprietà, ma hanno preso un enorme sacchetto di ghiaccio fuori dal congelatore e mi hanno dato abbastanza per riempire il mio petto di ghiaccio. Non esitate a chiedere al desk di tutto quello che avete bisogno.Sono sicuro che faranno ogni tentativo di accogliere. Mio figlio partecipa alla NMSU e faccio diverse viaggi a Las Cruces ogni anno. Spostati dal mio vecchio hotel perché hanno cambiato proprietà e raddoppiato i loro prezzi, (fortunatamente!) Perché ora ho trovato il mio nuovo hotel preferito. Ho intenzione di tornare in entrambi novembre.abd dicembre non avrò bisogno di sprecare tempo alberghi.Grazie Days Inn e le vostre meravigliose gala del front desk! Avrei avuto un nome di dieci, stanno facendo un lavoro meraviglioso. Le ragazze sembravano fare quello che dovevano fare e il giovane che ho visto pulire la piscina lavorava duro ogni volta che lo ho visto. Sono ansioso di rivedervi tutti presto. Ecco le foto della mia stanza, ho provato a essere naso quando passavo per le altre stanze che le ragazze si lavavano, e tutti sembravano fresche e ben curate.

Overall very good, but we could've used some more towels, the desk chair was very uncomfortable, not much space for suitcases. Decor was great however, all the support for unique art is greatly appreciated and the staff was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the El Monte Sagrado hotel. We had mistakenly booked an accessible room, and wanted a tub in our room. Amy at the front desk was extremely helpful, and switched us into another room, brought us new keys and escorted us to a room with a wonderful tub. We were there on the last night of our honeymoon, and the staff added wonderful little perks and touches to make our honeymoon extra special. When it started raining, the valet staff had complimentary umbrellas on hand for our trip into town. In short, The El Monte Sagrado is a wonderful place with great service!

L'ingresso è davvero difficile da trovare. GPS cerca di portare via alcune strade non pavimentate in un quartiere.

Grandi dipendenti, Camera pulita, vicino Walmart e Ristoranti, & Colazione moderata. Rimanete lì ogni volta che viaggiate negli Stati Uniti 40. Qualsiasi problema è avvenuto il personale è stato molto immediato a risolvere il problema. La stanza era tranquilla senza rumori di treno che passavano come un problema nelle strutture dell'Hotel Grant. Assicurati di prendere la prima uscita per Grants se arrivate dall'est su Hwy 40. In caso contrario prendete la terza uscita se viaggiate dall'ovest. Se manchi di viaggiare a est, non ci sono molte miglia. C'è un cammino sporco solo un po' oltre l'uscita se non lo fai, ma si alza rapidamente e deve girare a sinistra dalla pista sinistra sulla autostrada può essere un po' eccitante con il traffico in rapida circolazione verso est. La TV è TV Direct e viene in molto chiaro. Le letti sono molto comodi e vario assortimento di taglie di cuscinetti riempiti di schiuma sgrossata. AC / Heater funziona molto efficiente e comodo. Continuerà a rimanere lì quando passa per l'attività o il piacere.

Great walkable location to the Plaza and many other locations that Santa Fe offers. Eclectic, charming property with friendly staff. The included breakfast is a great perk that we took advantage of each day and it was delicious! We were a little disappointed in our King Studio room - it was plain/lackluster compared to the pictures shown online, the thermostat options for AC temps were very limited, and the specific location of our unit was quite noisy. But overall it worked fine for us since we didn't spend much time there during our trip. One other minor complaint is that housekeeping was supposed to come every other day for a 3+ day stay but we were there for 4 days and they never came.

Breakfast was incredible! Loved the choices: eggs, sausage, salsas, pancakes, toast, 100% juices (not watered down), yogurt, etc. Breakfast room felt like a B&B:  cozy, warm, fireplace going, clean. Really started our day right. Room was very clean and smelled fresh. Bed frame must have been too small for mattress because when you sat on end of bed, the mattress wanted to flip up at the top. TV remote was a bit wonky (had to point at mirror or corner of room to make it work). Parking lot lighting was OK, wish it had been a bit brighter. DID NOT LIKE the pet policy enforced AFTER you get there to check in. Policy  states pet fee is $20 but they don’t tell you it’s $20 PER dog and that you CAN’T leave the premises if you have a pet in your room. We had plans to go downtown that evening but unfortunately weren’t able to go. Feel they should state their whole pet policy on website so there are no surprises when you get there.
