Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

Nara Visitor Centre and Inn is charming place located right next to Sarasuwa pond. It is about 7 mins walk from the Kintetsu Nara station. Very near to Kofukuji temple. I stayed from 15-17 June 2023. I felt warmly received by the staff on duty at the inn. Quite a lot of them are Mandarin and English speaking. I really appreciate one of the elderly gentleman’s staff warmth when he took the time to explain to me the attractions around the inn that I can visit, and he speaks Mandarin very well! I also appreciate the other staff’s eagerness to assist when I asked them questions about tours or to recommend places for breakfast. A shoutout also to Yukina, who entertained me when I wanted to do the cosplay and Japanese calligraphy. I also really enjoyed the Japanese dance activity provided during my stay. I really enjoyed my stay here :) I booked a Japanese style room, 8 tatami mats. Spacious for 1. Toiletries provided are sufficient. view from the room showed Kofukuji temple but was blocked by a tree. The only issue I had was that I was given the room at the end of the corridor. I personally preferred not to have a room at end of corridor for personal reasons, but the room was bright, airy and comfortable, and I was happy with it so did not request for a change.

Solo una piccola passeggiata dalla stazione di Nara. Era super comodo raggiungere a piedi la stazione per prendere un autobus per Nara Park o un treno. Le camere erano così pulite, ci chiedevamo se fossero un hotel nuovo o rinnovato di recente. Le camere hanno un bel muro disegnato e un dolce aroma. Nonostante abbia preso una stanza piccola, c'era la sensazione di più spazio di passaggio rispetto ad altri hotel in cui sono stato. Ho soggiornato con moglie e bambino di 1 anno e 4 mesi. Il letto era abbastanza grande per tutti noi. Materasso solido ma decisamente non duro. Anche i cuscini erano buoni. Le tende bloccano molto bene la luce, il nostro bambino non ha avuto problemi a dormire. Il bagno era come nuovo. I servizi erano sufficienti, ma i rasoi devono essere ritirati alla reception. Su 2 piani separati sono disponibili distributori automatici, fabbricatore di ghiaccio, forno a microonde, lavatrice e asciugatrice. C'era una tassa una tantum di 600 yen (NON a persona) al momento del check-in (PENSO che fosse per l'onsen e per ricevere le nostre chiavi magnetiche) Nel complesso, siamo rimasti molto colpiti. Lo spazio pulito e la comoda posizione hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto confortevole.

L'ambiente è molto buono e la vecchia casa è molto interessante. Ma ho prenotato una camera con vista sul giardino ed è stata cambiata in una camera sul tetto. Si stima che ho ordinato in anticipo e il prezzo era basso, e il negozio l'ha venduto a qualcun altro a un prezzo più alto. La natura dell'uomo d'affari è comprensibile, ma lo ha detto in anticipo e non ha nemmeno avuto una spiegazione. L'intero processo di check-in self-service, non c'è spazio per ragionare. La luce nella stanza che ho sistemato era ancora rotta, sono rimasto davvero senza parole. Rimaniamo freschi, posso solo dire che il negozio non è gentile.

Booked this hotel through Trip which was a godsend. The hotel that I booked through ******* was screwed up big time by ******* because the hotel didn't receive the reservation apparently. ******* was not helpful with the relocation (even thought there were availability at other hotels), claiming the hotel class are different from the one I booked. Anyways this hotel is convenient and clean, only thing that I disliked was the site mentioned double bed BUT only can accommodate 1 person!? Ended we have to pay additional ¥3k for the 3rd person (my youngest daughter) for 2 rooms. 1 room for myself and the other for both daughters because the manager was adamant about the 1 room per person, however after paying the additional ¥3k he was ok with 2 persons in a room. Didn't make sense unless I was explained it is some government regulations to allow only 1 double bed room for 1 person

Very Friendly staff Very strict on the timing of ”checking in”: Even though we arrived 245pm, they ask us to come back at 3pm for check in, but they offer to keep our luggages for us FOC. Free Soba noodle at 930pm was tasty morning breakfast was excellent

The hotel had no staff, a dinosaur or an anime character will speak to you for check in and check out..haha. You just scan your passport and enter some basic information, then you can get the room key. The room size is great for 2 people and all suitcases could be fully opened. If you want to store your luggage after check out, also need to press and pay at the store luggage machine by yourself. That was good for teenagers or adults for staying. If elderly, which not familiar for electric device, not recommend for staying.

La posizione è ottima. Nella via dello shopping accanto alla stazione. Molto vicino. Mangiare è conveniente. È possibile raggiungere a piedi il Parco Nara e il Santuario Taisha. Stai lontano però. Le strutture sono ok. È un hotel espresso. Il prezzo del ciondolo della moglie è il premio della Giornata Nazionale. Ciò di cui non sono soddisfatto è che la camera doppia nella dependance è una tipologia anomala accanto all'ascensore. Basso e piccolo. Le altre stanze principali sono triple. Non ordinare la colazione. Non dispone di ristorante. Solo un pranzo al sacco. Devi ritirarlo alla reception e scaldarlo nel microonde al terzo piano. È meglio mangiare fuori da solo.

La reception e il bagno esterno sono ok, e c'è una lavatrice, ma la piccola stanza è mista per uomini e donne, e le tende non sono sigillate, quindi puoi vedere dentro, e le luci sono ancora un po' fioche spaventoso essere soli. Non c'era nessuno al momento del check-out. Dopo aver aspettato un po', ho lasciato la tessera della camera alla reception e me ne sono andato. Una porta è l'area dell'alloggio e l'altra è l'area del lavaggio. L'area dell'alloggio richiede l'inserimento di una password, ma l'area del lavaggio e l'area dell'alloggio sono collegate. Puoi entrare nell'area del lavaggio casualmente. Mi sento così spaventata rimase lì per una notte e scappò. Il prezzo è economico, ma non c'è sicurezza.
