Pulizia, ma un po' di sinfonia naturale dall'esterno. Buffet: selezione se il cibo era ok. Occidentale, cinese e giapponese. Ma sicuramente l'intera area sono un po' costosi. 9000 yen più 18% tariffe. Se non hai una scelta, questo è accettabile. O puoi scegliere di mangiare presto nella zona di partenza. Primavera calda: all'aperto e all'interno. Molto bello ambiente, ma paghi 2000 per uso. In generale, questa zona è molto costosa. Ma se siete qui per raffreddare questo dovrebbe essere bello, ma con i ragazzi direi che preferiscono vivere a Tokyo come un hotel economico, non questo. Non apprezzeranno affatto questo. If you plan to travel the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, this hotel is your best choice. The bus stop to Ogizawa and Shinano-Omachi station are right in front of the hotel. They also provide luggage forwarding service to Toyama station for those who do the one-way trip on the tateyama kurobe alpine route, which allow you to travel super early as you don't have to wait until the luggage forwarding service (at shinano omachi station) open at 7.50am. The room is clean. The price is reasonable+ come with complimentary breakfast. 10/10 would recommend.

Super convenient next to JR Nagano station. Hotel check in was fast and they managed to lend me a sewing kit and a small screw driver for me to open my toy to change batteries. Breakfast selection wasn’t that great with as it had few muslim friendly options. Room was big. Laundry service had to be booked in advance and we didn’t know so couldn’t do our laundry. The TV had a screen to show the amount of time remaining for the laundry machines. There was a free water dispenser but only at hotel lobby. For convenience to train station and easy access to snow monkey bus, it was still an awesome experience for us.

Hotel is in a great location, about 700m straightline walk from karuizawa train station. Room is compact but you have everything and is clean, amenities are provided at the lobby and you can take as needed, such as toner, cleanser and cream, hair brush, toothbrush, there's even body scrub. There's drinks provided for guests, you can have tea or coffee at all times. Hotel breakfast comes in brunch menu, food is nice and fresh. There's a also a lot of restaurants along this street so not to worry.

We chose this hotel by location first of all, because we arrived around midnight at Nagano station. The hotel is very close to it. There was convenient check-in and check-out automatic system. The facilities of the room were great - private bathroom and a toilet, and also pajamas. The room is very small, but it is totally sufficient for a trip.

Hotel Indigo Karuizawa is an excellent hotel where you can enjoy and relax during your holiday. We have enjoyed very much the breakfast and the dinner at the restaurant. Must stay again next time when have trip at Karuizawa.

Erano solo le cinque del pomeriggio passate quando arrivammo alla stazione di Nagano, ma era già buio. I tre presero le valigie e si diressero verso l'Hotel Chigo a Nagano. Uscirono dalla stazione e si diressero verso la strada principale, hanno superato il semaforo e sono stati poi guidati fino a un tratto della strada che porta al parcheggio. Non c'è marciapiede sulla stradina. È l'ora di punta dei parcheggi la sera. Un'auto dopo l'altra è in coda fino per andare al parcheggio. Noi tre abbiamo preso le valigie e ci siamo incamminati. Sembrava così lontano. Mi sono pentito di non aver scelto quello vicino alla stazione. Prima di lasciare la stazione JR di Nagano ho visto diversi hotel, mi chiedevo perché ho scelto questo? Immagino che sia a causa della camera familiare? L'hotel è in realtà vicino ai binari del treno e di notte puoi sentire il passaggio dei treni. Se la camera è per due persone le dimensioni vanno bene, ma nella camera da tre persone si aggiunge un divano letto e lo spazio diventa angusto. Non è la separazione tra umido e secco. Quando sono tornato in hotel per ritirare i bagagli durante il giorno, ho attraversato di nuovo la stradina e ho girato a destra dalla stradina accanto a Muji, erano solo 5 minuti a piedi fino all'hotel. I bagagli possono essere depositati nella hall, il che è molto comodo.

I Like the cleanliness of the hotel. Room is spacious. The front desk staff could communicate in English. Good if you drive there. Else, it’s a distance from the train station. St Paul church is just opposite of the hotel. There’s also a Japanese shin nearby. There are good bakery shops nearby for breakfast. We were there on 2 weekdays and there’s not many people and not many shops open. The restaurant next to it serves good pasta and pizza. We had our 2 dinners settled there. Karuizawa is a beautiful place. You may have a morning jog nearby and it’s so serene running around.

We had an amazing 2 nights stay here! Located about 5 minutes short walk from the train station, there were a convenience store and small supermarket directly across the hotel. We weren't expecting much when we booked as the photos look dated and it was a last minute trip but oh mine, we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The room was large and although it was the old room, it had a certain charmimg character to it that we love. The bathroom was also big, clean and had a lovely large bathtub. I love the full range of toiletries they provided and was hoping to buy it in Tokyo to bring home but I couldn't. There was a common area on the second floor where water, juice and coffee were provided and we bought our own sake in the evening and sat there. We spent two peaceful evenings here after dinner and it was lovely. Our only complaint was the bed was rather soft and the pillows were flat. But we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Karuizawa.

This hotel is a bit remote to those not driving . But the rate is very reasonable and by taxi is short distance to everywhere near train and outlet for shopping n food . The hotel restaurant for dinner is very good with live music and cost is very reasonable with good service . But you need to do reservation in advance . There is a big supermarket a few steps away that you could buy fresh produce to cook simple meal in your room’s kitchen . The public pool is sufficient and cleanliness is fair . Overall a value for money hotel .

It’s a value for money choice for a clean and modern hotel with spacious room, which is difficult to find at Karuizawa. Additional amenities and services such as bicycles rental and washing machines are offered at a very reasonable price. I would recommend anyone staying there.

The hotel surpassed our expectations. Clean modern room, thoughtful in design & provisions. First hotel we stayed at that offers a curling iron & straightener in addition to a hair dryer! Loved how they provided a charging cable too, very thoughtful room amenities.  Staff spoke good English at reception & restaurant was priced v competitively. Bed was big & comfortable & room a great size. Thank you. Looking forward to our next visit to Karuizawa and will stay here again!

Convenient and free parking right outside the hotel entrance, although spaces are first-come, first-served. 3. Complimentary rental of umbrellas. 4. The private onsen was enjoyable, especially considering the public onsen at the adjacent building is unsheltered (hence the need for umbrellas). 5. Excellent location near Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza and Kyu-Karuizawa Main Street, providing easy access to numerous local shops and eateries. Cons: 1. The breakfast was quite disappointing considering that this is a 4-star hotel and the other aspects are good. The bread was extremely hard and difficult to tear, and did not seem fresh. The overall variety of food was limited and not particularly appealing.

The hotel feels new, and clean. We enjoyed the amenities of the place, and the convenience — all that one expects from a brand-name hotel. The only downside is that the room we were allocated faces the temple cemetery, which should’ve been told to us earlier upon check in. Other than that, it’s a pretty decent hotel for a quick short stay in Nagano.

Great location, just 5 minute walk from the JR Nagano station. It has a main entrance and a back door entry way. The amenities were fantastic, room is the average size in Japan, a little small for western standards but it was comfortable. We loved the onsen on the 11th floor and the free use of the massage chairs as well as complimentary Popsicles and Soba at night. The breakfast was also lovely, with a main focus on Japanese breakfast (there were a few western dishes available).
