Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Resort & Lagoon Bintan. From the moment we arrived at the ferry terminal, the complimentary shuttle bus transfer to the resort was seamless, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. Considering the resort has only recently opened, everything was well-organised and the facilities were impressive. There were still a few areas where work was being carried out, but that was completely understandable and didn’t affect our stay. In fact, it made us even more excited to see how the resort will continue to grow and what new experiences they’ll introduce in the future. The property itself is huge, with plenty to do for guests of all ages. There’s a gym, spa, Pilates classes, and a recreational village featuring a mini arcade, pool tables, foosball, and table tennis. You can also rent bicycles or e-bikes to explore the resort, including a designated cycling route that passes by the beach. The resort is perfect for both couples looking for a relaxing getaway and families wanting activities to keep everyone entertained. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. There are three swimming pools in total—a large main pool and two smaller pools—so it never felt too crowded. At the beach club, you can also rent kayaks and take part in other water activities. One of my favourite touches was the complimentary Chocolate Hour from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It was a lovely experience and one of the unique features that makes a stay at Mövenpick feel special. That said, we were slightly disappointed by what happened after we checked out. As our ferry departure was still a couple of hours away, we were waiting at the hotel and thought we would try our luck by asking if we could enjoy Chocolate Hour one last time. Unfortunately, our request was declined unless we paid an additional fee. While we completely understand the policy, it would have been a thoughtful gesture to extend this small courtesy to departing guests who are simply waiting for their transportation. It would have left an even more memorable impression of an otherwise wonderful stay. I could honestly go on about everything this resort has to offer. There are also different activities organised throughout the week, such as batik painting and bracelet making, so there’s always something new to try. Mövenpick Resort & Lagoon Bintan truly feels like an all-in-one destination where you can relax, stay active, and never run out of things to do. We’d love to return in the future—not just because we enjoyed our stay so much, but also to see how the resort continues to evolve as it settles into this exciting new chapter.

Our stay at Montigo Resorts was nothing short of magical. From the moment my fiancé and I arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury, comfort, and romance. We booked a stunning two-bedroom villa featuring its own private pool, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. The villa was exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and offered the perfect sanctuary for a romantic getaway. Having a private pool just steps from our bed allowed us to enjoy quiet, intimate swims at any time of day, completely undisturbed.Inside the villa, the attention to detail was remarkable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and filled with natural light. One of the absolute highlights of the accommodation was the deep, luxurious bathtub. After a long day of exploring and activities, soaking in the tub became our favorite way to unwind and relax together. The housekeeping team deserves immense credit for keeping every corner of our villa pristine throughout our stay, ensuring we never had to worry about a thing.Beyond the beautiful room, our trip was packed with memorable experiences. We are a couple that loves a mix of relaxation and adventure, so we decided to try the ATV riding offered at the resort. It was an absolute blast. Racing through the trails together brought a fantastic rush of adrenaline and added an exciting, adventurous spark to our romantic vacation. The staff guiding the ATV experience were professional, safety-conscious, and made sure we had the best time possible.Of course, no luxury stay is complete without great food, and Montigo Resorts delivered perfectly on that front. Our package included a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, which quickly became something we looked forward to every day. The spread was incredibly generous, featuring a wide variety of both local and international dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the live cooking stations to the fresh pastries and tropical fruits. Starting our mornings together over a delicious, hearty breakfast with beautiful resort views set the perfect tone for the rest of our day.What made this trip truly amazing was how seamlessly the resort blended high-energy fun with peaceful romance. Whether we were splashing around in our private pool, getting mud-soaked on the ATV tracks, or relaxing in our spotless villa, every moment felt special. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel valued from check-in to check-out. It was the perfect escape for me and my fiancé, allowing us to connect, create unforgettable memories, and enjoy a flawless blend of luxury and adventure. We left Montigo Resorts feeling completely refreshed and deeply in love with the place, and we already cannot wait to return for another unforgettable stay.

La posizione è discreta, non troppo lontana dai centri commerciali. Ci sono 2 ascensori, di cui uno fuori servizio, e quello funzionante ha un sensore della porta difettoso. La camera è piuttosto spaziosa ma non molto ben tenuta. La temperatura della doccia varia continuamente, e chi si siede sul water rischia di essere colpito dalla porta dall'esterno perché non ha un fermaporta. Il telecomando della camera è a malapena visibile. La porta della camera non si chiude bene e bisogna spingerla o tirarla con più forza. La camera ha anche un isolamento acustico piuttosto scarso. Il personale è disponibile e cordiale.

Ho letto alcune recensioni negative su Google o Trip.com, ma ho comunque deciso di scegliere questo resort per la posizione. Inoltre, dopo aver parlato con l'autista, ho scoperto che la vista sulla spiaggia di questo resort è in realtà la migliore di Bintan. Mangiare all'interno del resort è piuttosto costoso, soprattutto la cucina indiana la sera. Sono andato al ristorante cinese, ma non abbiamo ordinato pesce. Il cameriere è molto disponibile, gentile ed educato. Abbiamo ordinato per una persona di media statura, ma ci ha sconsigliato di scegliere quella perché la porzione era davvero abbondante.

Esperienza super super fantastica!! Il resort è un po' lontano, ma è come una piccola comunità isolata e autosufficiente, un mondo a sé stante! Avevamo un sacco di cose da fare anche se non avevamo niente in programma. C'erano tantissime attività gratuite (preparazione di sambal, visite alla fattoria, degustazione di miele, kayak, yoga, piegatura di asciugamani, osservazione delle stelle, degustazione di caffè, ecc.). A tarda notte, il personale è persino venuto a offrirci un dessert gratuito (una torta) ed era così delizioso. Anche la camera era davvero confortevole e accogliente e avevamo un servizio di buggy che ci portava qua e là (era come un giro sulle montagne russe, così divertente). Anche il cibo era buonissimo (Rica Rica aveva degli ottimi satay e mie goreng), e la postazione per le uova a colazione 10/10!! Anche il personale lì è stato così gentile e disponibile, mi dispiace tanto di aver dovuto andarmene... posso tornare...

In generale, un soggiorno fantastico con vista fantastica e un servizio fantastico! La camera era perfettamente grande e il letto unico era molto spazioso per una persona. L'accento era certamente la vista, puoi vedere il terminale della nave da destra dalla finestra, e il design dello specchio intelligente nella stanza era un bel toccamento che ha davvero sollevato lo spazio. Il personale era eccezionalmente caldo e attento, aiutando proativamente con il mio bagaglio e aprindo le porte della macchina ogni volta. Tuttavia, la qualità del pollo era media, era piuttosto alta e forte piuttosto che morbido e morbido, e appoggiandomi su di esso per un po' mi fece sentire la schiena sudata. Situato vicino al Grand Batam Mall con accesso diretto dall'hotel al centro commerciale, è stato molto conveniente. Ci è stato dato un buffet di cena complimentare durante l'ispezione e la varietà di cibo servito durante il buffet di cena e il buffet di colazione erano deliziosi. Amichevole e utile personale di servizio. Certamente tornerà di nuovo! :)

We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

The stay was a very pleasant and wonderful environment. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. There were also a lot of activities to do from indoors to outdoors, beach activities and the jet ski and atv experience was the best! The food there are all delicious. Travelling was also convenient as transportation are easily accessible and provided. Will surely recommend anyone visiting Bintan to stop by Holiday Inn Resort for a fun-filled vacation.
