Regno Unito: hotel con palestra nella provincia di Lancashire

Il Grand Hotel è situato a nord del Pier Nord e è un grande hotel con molte camere di fronte al mare, un bagno, piscina e palestra. Ci siamo fermati per 4 notti e siamo andati ovunque (compreso il Pier Sud e la spiaggia del piacere), quindi la posizione è stata buona per noi. L'hotel è bello e le camere sono spaziose con una vista sorprendente verso la Torre e il Pier Nord. La piscina, la sauna, la stanza a vapore erano grandi e costavano solo 2 sterline per persona. Tutto il personale che abbiamo incontrato è stato amichevole. Rimarremmo qui di nuovo.

Very clean room. Amenities were excellent and staff helpful. Despite emails suggesting I needed an app for the key to the property I was provided with a key card, which I preferred. Excellent value.

The hotel and entrance are great, no complaints there. I’ve been a regular at another hotel within 5 miles of here, where the facilities are immaculate and the rooms are always meticulously clean. So I had high expectations. On walking into my room (250), it was freezing. I immediately turned on the electric radiator, but was woken up at 2am by the thermostat flicking on and off repeatedly. The digital screen kept lighting up and going off it felt like there was a rave in my room. Highly annoying and not conducive to a good night’s sleep. Before bed, I went for a shower and splashed foamy suds around as you do. After finishing, I was washing down the inside of the shower cubicle and noticed what I thought were leftover soap suds near the door handle. I went to wipe them off and I can tell you now, they were not soap suds. Absolutely disgusting. The previous occupant clearly lacked basic hygiene, and although it shouldn’t be expected, the cleaners really need to have a keener eye for detail. This sort of thing should never be missed. First time using Holiday Inn Good things are Spacious room with great standard Comfortable and clean bed & pillows , and towels ( a big and a small for one person each ) Has kettle and tea/ coffee with treats ( biscuits) Has a hair dryer and an iron with an iron board inside the wardrobe. It has a round table and a sofa chair on top of a worktop table and chair . It has a small gym , a swimming pool and jacuzzi . Can include breakfast and dinner ( has restaurant) and can order to the room ( room service) I only brought bed and breakfast and breakfast is great choices and plenty. Even for gluten free options! Bad things Hotel lift has broken and put me on 3rd floor but I can request the staff to give me on the ground floor ( said last room / no other choice) twin room . It is better to write the request that in the event of lifts are not working to give ground floor or lower floor. Kettle has no sieve ( may be broken before me. ) The sofa chair has a stain before me . Overall very good service and great room and has good facilities.

La camera 151, la TV a distanza, fornisce una coperta posteriore, a differenza delle batterie esposte. Mi sentivo molto stretto, che dopo il prezzo pagato per questo hotel ci sono stati pagati 12 sterline per il parcheggio della nostra auto, non è stato un buon inizio per noi, perché non mi aspettavo qualcosa di simile, soprattutto dopo il costo di fermarsi durante la notte che non era economico. La colazione era buona.In generale, non sarò tornato perché non giustificava il prezzo del soggiorno.

Abbiamo prenotato due camere. Uno era con genitori anziani! La stanza data era una passeggiata equa e era molto lontana dalla zona di accoglienza senza alcuna assistenza solo verbale. Sarebbe stato bello avere avuto qualche assistenza dal personale. Quando siamo arrivati in camera, il buco di gomma era bloccato, così ho chiesto la ricezione per farla riparare, non è successo! Interrogato il personale di ricezione e ha mentito e ha detto che aveva riparato la manutenzione quando nessuno è venuto a guardarla! This is not the service we expected from ‘Mercure’ standard. Leggendoci sopra il bagno per spruzzare i denti e ogni volta che abbiamo dovuto lavarci le mani dopo aver usato il bagno, abbiamo dovuto usare il bagno. Non sono sicuro di leggere da nessuna parte, ma per usare le strutture di nuoto gli adulti devono pagare 10 sterline.

We had a fantastic experience. The place was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the shared areas, which made our stay super comfortable. The decor was warm and cozy, creating a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. What really stood out was the variety of activities available. The staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to recommend things to do in the area.

Un piccolo gemello di un hotel. Il personale è davvero utile e amichevole. Le camere sono di una dimensione decente con un grande letto re, di cui è stato fantastico. Servizio in camera ordinato e è stato fantastico, delizioso e pronto!  Molto raccomandato

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Thurnham Hall. The person who checked us in on the Sunday was very pleasant and welcoming. We walked the grounds and they were lovely and very well looked after.The Spa and pool were excellent. Thank you for providing such a lovely hotel for us to stay at and spend time visiting with our Lancashire relatives.
