Hotel a 4 stelle in Liaoning, Cina

We had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time. It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review. Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China). They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer. Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful! As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration. If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

Per gli amanti della spiaggia, questo è un hotel eccellente con molti scorci perfetti per Instagram. Le camere sono ben arredate e la maggior parte dispone di una terrazza privata con vista sul mare. Abbiamo adorato la piccola escursione in barca verso una spiaggia privata che organizzavano nel pomeriggio. Un ringraziamento speciale a Cuicui, Nana e Nick per il loro aiuto durante il nostro soggiorno. So che è un compito arduo, ma la plastica che galleggia in mare e viene lasciata sulla spiaggia dovrebbe essere rimossa ogni giorno.

We stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit. Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes. Where do I even start? The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference. Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures. One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy. We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care. To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here. This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere. If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Great location is close to metro station, eateries, and imperial museum. Hotel personnel are friendly. Hotel is an older building, and need to be renovated. There is sewer odor in elevator, and hall. Lighting in hall is dim. Breakfast offers a variety of food and fruits. Room is clean and average size. 

I visited Dalian on April 28, 2026, for a 1-night, 2-day trip with China Southern Airlines. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check-in and asked the front desk if early check-in would be possible, as I planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. At that time, a staff member named Leo Liu warmly welcomed me and assisted me in fluent Korean and English. Thanks to him, the check-in process was very smooth, and he even upgraded my room. I was very happy to stay in such a wonderful room during my trip. He also kindly offered complimentary breakfast, which I truly enjoyed. In addition, he explained nearby sightseeing spots in detail using a map, which was very helpful for my trip. Leo Liu was extremely kind, attentive, and proactive in understanding what guests need. His thoughtful service made my stay in Dalian truly enjoyable and memorable. If I visit Dalian again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. La posizione era buona, a circa 7 minuti a piedi dall'uscita B di Qing Nian Da Jie (c'è un racconto da tagliare attraverso un edificio, che vedrete a sinistra). In generale è facilmente accessibile a alcune delle famose strade e aree come Zhong Jie, Gu Gong (Palazzo), e è facile cambiare il treno ad altre linee. Prendere Didi è meno raccomandato perché ho pensato che il traffico è in generale piuttosto pesante, il trasporto pubblico è più conveniente. L'atteggiamento del servizio è molto buono, ma quando ho chiamato per confermare la camera, la reception che ha risposto al telefono era molto fredda e impaziente, il che era piuttosto scoraggiante. Inizialmente ho abbassato le mie aspettative, ma non mi aspettavo di esserlo così soddisfatto dopo essere andato lì. Anche l'atteggiamento delle altre persone è stato molto entusiasta. Non ci sono molte opzioni per la colazione, ma hanno un buon sapore. C'erano spaghetti di riso fritti, specialità di Dandong, e il bambino ne mangiò una ciotola da solo. È stato classificato come uno dei migliori hotel veloci nei miei viaggi per così tanti anni. I prezzi non aumentano molto durante le vacanze, il che è molto coscienzioso. A proposito, puoi semplicemente camminare direttamente dopo essere sceso dal treno. Puoi anche camminare fino alla riva del fiume. Puoi raggiungere a piedi ristoranti famosi come Chohan Street e Glass Barbecue, il che è molto comodo.

I had the most wonderful stay here. Firstly, the homestay itself is so clean and pretty. My room was exactly as it was in the pictures. I had a bathtub by the window with a seaview and a large room all to myself. The warm lighting made the ambience even more spectacular. I absolutely loved the New Chinese Style Interior Design. It is one of my favourite interiors, and it was such a dream to stay here. The complimentary Chinese tea set was refreshing. The staff here is excellent, too! I was attended by Mr. Sun, who spoke good English (which was very helpful for me as I am a foreigner with limited Mandarin). Upon my request, Mr. Sun provided me with a vegetarian breakfast and even brought it to my ropm to enjoy. It was a very substantial breakfast: millet porridge, warm milk, steamed sweet potato, corn on the cob, Broccoli, carrots, pumpkin, and a vegetable bao with fruits. There is also a complimentary bracelet-making station for homestay guests. Mr. Sun also provided me with free-flow drinking water as the weather was lovely and sunny. Location-wise, you can walk to the nearby theme park by crossing the pedestrian bridge and there are plenty of (high-end seafood restaurants) but there is also a supermarket and restaurant next door that was within my budget. The view of the bridge from my room at night was absolutely beautiful with the lights. Overall, I would really encourage anyone visiting Dalian to stay here! 😍😍 Thank you so much, Qingsong Yaju!

Un veramente fantastico gem di età in Dalian – Charm marocchino e servizio meraviglioso 🥰 Ho avuto un ottimo soggiorno in questo hotel a Dalian. Il servizio era incredibile – il personale è così bello, benvenuto, e sempre gioioso con un sorriso, soprattutto al colazione. Questo solo mi ha fatto sentire così comodo. Quello che amavo più è stato lo stile dell'hotel. Non è l'aspetto moderno normale – ha un antico, un senso di vintage con tappeti, piccole lampade in attesa ovunque, e un bel stile. Le decorazioni mi ricordano cose che ho visto in Marocco – veramente bellissime. Il cibo era buono, il letto era super comodo, e i dettagli del vintage nelle camere sono coerenti con il resto dell'hotel – lo stesso bello stile in tutto. Raccomando questo posto a chi ama il carattere, il calore e il grande servizio.
