Location: On the outskirts of Okinawa city on the edge of Kadena air base - not a problem if you are driving as it connects to the main routes, not far also from American Village
Parking: Ample free parking
Room: Spacious with a lot of light, but since it is close to the air base you can hear military planes taking off and landing through the morning
Breakfast: A very good spread including local dishes
Facilities: Swimming pool on rooftop (water looked really cold) with a bar but the views were great, and welcome drinks were complimentary and available till late. Onsen on 2/F also opens till late
È meglio andare in piscina dopo maggio...

La stanza era molto pulita e confortevole. Era spaziosa e non sembrava angusta, quindi non ho avuto problemi a rimanere lì per diverse notti. Solo una cosa...forse è solo una coincidenza, ma ho notato che il letto tremava parecchio quando mi giravo ^^;

Hotel Collective was hands down the best hotel during our stay in Okinawa! From start to finish, everything about this property exceeded our expectations.
The service attitude of the staff was truly outstanding. Every interaction was warm, professional, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The hotel’s commitment to hospitality really stood out.
The rooms were super clean and spacious, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. It’s rare to find such well-maintained and generously sized accommodations, especially in such a convenient location.
Speaking of location, it was absolutely perfect for shopping, dining out, and sightseeing. Being right in the heart of Naha, we had easy access to Kokusai Street, local restaurants, and cultural landmarks. Everything we needed was just a short walk away.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa. Hotel Collective sets the bar high for comfort, service, and convenience!
Large hotel with spacious rooms, though a bit dated but clean and well maintained.
Nice beach and great sea views from the rooms.
But there are many limitations, especially for foreign tourists and those without a car.
First of all, this place is rather remote, though not very far from Naha city but getting there will take about 2 hours on the Airport Hotel limousine bus , fare is ¥1430 per person, and there are not many services per day, if you miss the bus, you have to walk 30 minutes to Yomitan village to take the public bus, which takes more than 2 hours to Naha, or pay through your nose with taxi which costs more than ¥12,000.
Almost none of the staff are able to converse in English effectively, reception staff will need to translate with an I pad and show the translation to customers.
Being a large international resort hotel , they are extremely strict with the check in time, our limo bus arrived at about 1.30pm , when we asked to be checked in ,the reception staff said ok, but she told me ”early in 3000”, which I couldn't understand initially, she later showed me on her I pad , which displayed ” early check in fee ¥3000 for 1 hour”, there is no way to get a check in on arrival without paying a fee if you arrive early, even when the rooms are ready- which is unthinkable for anywhere else in the world !
It appeared that all guests arriving early decided to wait in the lobby till 3pm.
Guests were not even offered any welcome drink, which was unthinkable for a resort hotel. Each room here cost more than ¥30,000 per night .
Many other cons , which are rather unacceptable for foreign tourists-
All the TV channels are in Japanese.
Rather far away from any eating places , and not many choices.
In rooms - the aircond cannot be set lower than 22 degree C , there is no shower cap and spoon provided.

The service was excellent. They took good care of us by fulfilling our requests sich as extra bottled water. The room was comfortable and the soundproofing was excellent, there was no traffic noise at all. The location is great, within walking distance from the main street and Makishi Public Market. Parking costs 1500 yen per day as of May 2025, but there are other nearby parking options that allows you to park up to 24hours at about 800 yen.
We absolutely loved the lounges and the brunch spot—such a treat to enjoy a meal anytime, even after checkout! The resort is about an hour away by car, so if you can, definitely rent a car for convenience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We only wish we could have stayed an extra night!

Molto buono
NNgThis hotel is so generous! At 15:00-18:00 there’s welcome drink and snack such as Red wine, White wine, Beer, soft drink for free. 21:00-23:00 also provides free drink and snack including Gin Whisky etc. People are so crazy for that!
The swimming pool facilities is so clean and suitable for kids! But the check in 15:00 & check out time 11:00, if you only book one night, it seems that the swimming time is not very enough!
The breakfast buffet has various food and also provides alcohol in the morning, so crazy!
There’s no restaurant nearby, you have to drive!
JJpJaydenExcellent hotel design and seaview. Breakfast is very good too. The only thing is the parking area is a bit further and you have to go to the booth to call for a shuttle van to pick you up within a couple of minutes.
CC_PWe booked our stay here thinking that, for the hefty price tag, access to a lounge would be included as standard. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn that wasn’t the case. Had we known this upfront, we likely would have chosen a different, more affordable hotel *WITH* a lounge access. That said, the location is fantastic if you want to be right next to the action of Kokusaidori. The facilities are top-notch, and the rooms are incredibly spacious, which was a nice surprise. A highlight of our stay was the restaurant staff, who were exceptional. Breakfast was first class, with high-quality ingredients and a pastry selection that was probably the best we've had at a hotel in Japan. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of, adding to the overall positive experience during breakfast. Overall, while the price didn't quite meet our expectations, the excellent location, impressive facilities, and outstanding service—especially from the restaurant team—made the stay memorable.

CCurious TravellerThe overall condition of the hotel, including the rooms, restaurants and pools, is good. The room (over 60 sqm) is spacious with a tatami and sofa sitting area as well as a small balcony facing the sea. The view at sunset is beautiful. There are not many rooms per floor so the hotel is quiet and relaxing. We had the pool to ourselves on both occasions when we swam. The private beach just opposite the hotel( 6-7 minutes walk downhill ) is also worth a visit but it closes at 6pm. The sister hotel nearby offers shuttles and tuk tuk service and they were nice to come back to the beach to pick up any hotel guests 10-15 minutes past six ( even though the schedule indicated that the last shuttle would be at 6pm. ). Breakfast had good options and definitely worth it as there isn’t any cafe nearby. For lunch or dinner, there are 10-12 restaurants within walking distance offering Okinawan cuisine and the concierge is happy to make recommendations. Parking costs ¥1000 per day and they offered a ¥1000 yen voucher if we opt for the “no daily cleaning “ option. The voucher can be used for parking or shopping in the hotel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for its facilities and we loved the very large room( try to go the indoor pool and the sauna too).
UUtente anonimoWe had a wonderful 3-night stay at Prince Hotel. As a self-driving couple, the location was convenient even though it’s not in the city center—there aren’t many walking distance restaurants or cafes nearby compared to Nara City Centre, but it makes up for that with its peaceful atmosphere and stunning sea views. We had morning run to tropical beach nearby!
Every room has a sea view, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was modern, and the water pressure was excellent—absolutely no complaints about the room at all.
Customer service and front desk staff were helpful and accommodating with all our requests. The breakfast was solid—10 out of 10—with a good variety of choices and an amazing view to enjoy while dining. Breakfast time is from 7 to 10 am.
Parking is complimentary, and there are five parking floors right beside the hotel, which made things very convenient for us.
If you’re looking for a relaxing stay near the Ginowan area, this is the place to be. I’d absolutely rate it 100 out of 100 and highly recommend it to couples looking for a peaceful getaway.
