Very average service received. Room service closes at 11pm!!! Why offer it then? At least 2am gives you a chance should you miss the normal restaurants that close at around 11pm. Sad that a simple request for X2 decent size glasses and some ice can't be followed or done at 11:30pm... Instead I received 1 glass and absolutely no mention of the ice... It's the little things that make the stay enjoyable.

Ho trascorso il mio compleanno all'hotel Balmoral dal 24 aprile al 28 aprile 2926. Era assolutamente fantastico. Ho incontrato un personale così utile, tra cui i suoi manager, ognuno era amichevole e gentile. L'hotel è vecchio, ma si sente così domestico e comodo. Se hai bisogno di qualcosa da ordinare, chiedi solo e il personale è molto efficiente. È stato bello avere una serie di articoli da scegliere. Le tazze di tè dovrebbero essere un po 'più grandi 😋

It’s decent hotel we loved it. The only issue was parking because we wanted a safe parking space as we were looking through different hotels and it was listed. Only to find out when we got there that they were renovating their parking lot. It was not updated online.

Positive: Clean and today appearance. friendly staff. Bottomless soda/ice and regular water. Ice machine on ground floor. Easy access to central town and the highway. Simple book in/check in process. Bar on ground floor.
Negative: No elevator. A little expensive for what it is(an ocean view with breakfast is the same price). No fridge or microwave in the room makes bringing your own food complicated. McDonalds is your immediate neighbor but your only option in safe walking distance. Nearly no soundproofing.

TTraveldairies.A good place to be with a beautiful view.... ”The View” as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall.
The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though.
Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late.
We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets.
Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP.
I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon.
One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients
I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments.
The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation 😌 BUT...

From the moment they arrived, they were treated to five-star magic with impeccable service, helpfulness, and reliability. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make their stay unforgettable.
Their room was absolutely beautiful, clean and what a breathtaking view of the ocean! Truly amazing and relaxing stay - a home away from home in an abundance of excellence! The sound of the ocean and balcony view was one of many highlights that made this stay truly unforgettable!
The food was exquisite, with dinner and breakfast being another highlight of their stay. But what truly made their experience special was the attention to detail and the way the hotel celebrated their anniversary in grandeur. The gifts, chocolates, flowers, and balloons were a lovely touch that made the occasion truly unforgettable.
My parents were blown away by the hotel's excellence and the staff's dedication to providing a memorable experience. They left with lifelong memories and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay. Five stars isn't enough – this hotel deserves a glowing review!

MMiss T.I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch and had a mostly positive experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Umhlanga with easy access to everything. The room was lovely and super comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay.
The breakfast buffet was amazing,delicious and with plenty of options, which was a great way to start the day. However, the restaurant was way too hot. It felt like everyone was trying to grab a fan, and I honestly think they should either switch on the AC or find a better solution for cooling the space.
The pool was nice and well-maintained, and it’s heated, but honestly, it felt a bit strange to swim in a hot pool during summer. I think the heated pool would be much more enjoyable during the cooler months, like in winter. Another downside is that they close the pool way too early….7 pm is pretty unreasonable, especially in a place like Umhlanga where you want to enjoy the evenings.
Overall, it’s a good hotel with great amenities, but the restaurant temperature and early pool closure definitely need some attention.

PPinkGirlIl New Hotel dispone di un'ottima struttura, una piscina, un paesaggio e una posizione fantastiche, vicino a KFC, aerei, piscine, ma l'hotel stesso fa il più delizioso cibo e dolci. Thami, Sbo e Giraad sono sempre stati d'aiuto e hanno fatto del loro meglio per accoglierci e renderci comodi. La nostra camera- 100A ( separata dall'hotel principale, che era sorprendente, visto che aveva la vista sul giardino e il nostro parcheggio e spazio), non avevano nessuna copertura WiFi. Se non hai dati o una carta SA Sim, questo può essere un problema.
Abbiamo fatto le seguenti attività, tutte in una vicinanza di 20-30 minuti dall'hotel.
1. Big 5 Safari a Hluhluwe Game Reserve
2. Emdoneni Wildcat cat Sanctuary
3. False Bay
4. Bayete Elephant Interazione
Questa è stata la migliore volta della nostra vita, perché godiamo profondamente della fauna selvatica e dell'aperto.

UUtente ospiteI primi positivi: la posizione è molto bella, le camere sono spaziose, confortevoli e pulite, e il personale è amichevole. Ho potuto ordinare la cena al ristorante che era delizioso. La posizione è anche sicura.
Cons: questo BnB serve come un luogo di matrimonio (che è eccellente); tuttavia, il BnB non dovrebbe permettere ai privati di prenotare una stanza se si svolge un matrimonio. Ho scelto che questo BnB fosse vicino all'aeroporto, ma non ho avuto un bicchiere di sonno, perché la festa di matrimonio è stata portata in primissime ore e le camere non erano assolutamente insonorizzate.
Ho prenotato questo BnB in particolare, quando ha annunciato di avere una navetta aeroportuale. Tuttavia, mi è stato deluso sapere che in realtà la BnB stessa non lo fa - chiamano un servizio di navetta che costa un ridicolo R600 per un viaggio di 20 minuti all'aeroporto!

UUtente ospiteThis place is a franchise so I was expecting way more, we travelled here off peak season in the middle of the month. Our needs were never accommodated from the beginning due to poor management and ridiculous rules. We asked to be upgraded to a sea view room because the hotel was empty they lied and said it’s full. I asked to be assisted organizing a romantic picnic on the beach, they offered assistance but made me wait a ridiculous amount of time so I left it out they were reluctant to help me all services require a huge wait time, even simple things. The staff were polite however and tried to help they were governed by unaccommodating rules. The access to the beach was the best part. The breakfast was also good. Will never return!
