Portogallo: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Distretto di Faro

We had a fantastic stay at The Editory by the Sea in Lagos. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and a short walk to the old town. The hotel has a modern, minimalist feel with beautiful interiors and calming views of the ocean. The service was warm and professional throughout our stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, without being intrusive. Our room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel more luxurious. The pool area was lovely—quiet, relaxing, and a great spot to unwind after exploring the Algarve. Breakfast was a highlight! Plenty of variety with fresh local options, from fruit and pastries to cooked dishes. We also had dinner at the hotel one night and were really impressed with the quality and presentation. Overall, The Editory was the perfect mix of design, comfort, and location. We’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Lagos!

Dovevamo rimanere in hotel per 3 notti, siamo arrivati ​​di sabato e siamo partiti di martedì. Lunedì abbiamo iniziato con le pulizie, cosa che non amo molto perché la camera si è sporcata subito sul pavimento. Avevamo 2 letti singoli in camera, i letti erano duri ma non scomodi (abbiamo dormito benissimo) e i piumoni e i cuscini erano molto comodi. Il frigorifero in camera non funzionava (per fortuna avevamo comprato del cibo per il frigorifero). La ​​colazione era buona, ma non c'era molta scelta. La piscina e la zona circostante erano belle e pulite, e c'era spazio per molti. Il personale sembrava molto cordiale. L'hotel è raggiungibile a piedi dalla città/porto. Nel complesso un bell'hotel, ma probabilmente sceglieremmo qualcos'altro per la nostra prossima visita per provare qualcosa di nuovo.

Siamo arrivati all'hotel verso le 2100 dell'11 giugno. Quando siamo arrivati non c'era nessuno nella reception .sono perfino entrata nelle cucine per cercare qualcuno .poi sono arrivati altri due ospiti dell'hotel e hanno bussato ad una porta da dove sono usciti un ragazzo e una ragazza. Nonostante che sul foglio di prenotazione fossero specificati €12 per la tassa di soggiorno ne ho dovuti pagare 16 come da pretesa dei due ragazzi. Non ci hanno informato che la stanza sarebbe stata pulita solo dietro richiesta. È vero che, poi controllando l'etichetta da attaccare sulla maniglia c'era scritto, Ma è anche vero che normalmente non funziona così ed è facile che l'ospite non legga quello che è scritto sull'etichetta da mettere sulla maniglia fuori dalla porta quindi sarebbe stato doveroso precisarlo. Per dirla tutta questi due ragazzi mi sono sembrati poco professionali e poco efficienti . Ho specificato il giorno e l'ora di arrivo in modo che la struttura possa risalire senza errori alle due persone a cui mi riferisco della reception. Per contro la mattina successiva una signora bionda giovane è stata veramente molto gentile ed efficiente per risolvere il malfunzionamento del phon nel bagno .

Hotel impressionante con una vista incredibile sull'oceano. Grande camera con letti molto comodi. La colazione era sorprendente, una grande selezione! In una distanza di passo da molti bar, ristoranti, ecc. e pochi passi da fermata degli autobus. Con piacere raccomandare.

Non è la prima volta che ho scelto questo hotel per le camere con vista sulla marina balcone, che ha una storia ricca e si è riunita nel corso degli anni '60 e in alcune zone sono state ristrutturate. Le vecchie camere sembrano date e potevano fare con una migliore pulizia, come i capelli dell’occupante precedente sono stati trovati nel bagno. Abbiamo amato la progettazione e l'aspetto estetico delle nuove aree rinnovate come il bagno, i bagni, la palestra, la piscina e la sauna, ma è vergognoso che ci sia stato un vuoto d'acqua nel tetto della piscina interna e pezzi di rospo sulle linee in acciaio inossidabile. Come oratore non portoghese, ho sentito che il personale di check-in può fare di più per essere caldo e accogliente. Ho notato che questo hotel è uno dei pochi hotel in cui si è fatto che il personale di check-in è seduto invece di stare in piedi, rendendo il processo in qualche modo casuale e meno accogliente. Ho anche invitato a chiedere un check-out tardivo e ho ricevuto una risposta ostile da una signora che ha detto: “No. Abbiamo bisogno della stanza indietro”. Abbiamo appena sposato il giorno prima dell'arrivo & siamo qui per celebrare anche il compleanno del mio luna di miele & partner. Settimane prima dell'arrivo, ho chiesto se l'hotel potesse fare un compleanno speciale per lui, ma questo non è stato riconosciuto. Come viaggiatore avido che ha soggiornato in molti hotel in tutto il mondo, sono un po' disapprovato della mancanza di servizio personalizzato attento fornito dall'hotel. Se la vista e la posizione non sono preoccupanti, consiglio l'hotel vicino 3HB. Ci siamo divertiti. AP Eva sensos hanno un gran potenziale, ma possono essere compiaciuti di andare oltre, poiché sono attualmente l'unico hotel a Faro marina. Gli altri dipendenti come il pianista anziano e il vestitore di capelli dell'hotel sono stati i più caldi che abbia mai incontrato.

This hotel is very recent. Beautiful, elegant and well-equipped in terms of services. What doesn't strike us as normal, however, is the lack of little touches for a hotel in this category. No shampoo, no q-tips, just the same gel for washing hands and in the shower. No shower cap. An empty fridge bar. We appreciate the coffee machine and the bottle of water, but one normal coffee capsule and 3 decaffeinated coffee capsules... not logical... We asked for a room with a bath when we booked (we were ”upgraded” without any request on our part, on a ”marina” view, but with a shower. As we are not very nice customers, we didn't say anything. The bedding is good. The pillows are quite thick, which can be uncomfortable for people with sensitive necks. 3 cushions are available, but they are all very dense. The road is very noisy, subject to a few car rodeos at night. I've heard that the rooftop is noisy in November, but fortunately this is not the case. The staff are friendly and respond to requests. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive, but for the evening menu, this type of buffet seems less attractive, but will surely please some people. The spa is very good, at 12.5 euros for one hour (equipped swimming pool, sauna, hammam, etc.). There is a car park at the hotel for 6 euros a night, but free parking is available 200m from the hotel by the beach. All in all, then, this is a fine hotel with a lot of potential, but some details clearly need to be reviewed to make it really nice.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel umgeben von einer herrlichen Gartenlandschaft. Kaum angekommen passierte etwas unvorstellbares - Black out auf der iberischen Halbinsel. Die Hotelmanager haben vorbildlich reagiert - Informationen gegeben, jeder Person eine Wasserflasche zur Verfügung gestellt, abends im Restaurant kalte Speisen und kostenlose Grillgerichte serviert. Auch das Notstromaggregat lief stundenweise. Somit fühlten wir uns, trotz Unsicherheiten, gut aufgehoben.  Die Sonne genießen an der herrlichen Poollandschaft ist ja auch nicht zu verachten. Das Frühstückbuffett war abwechslungsreich, auch mit guter Auswahl für Veganer und Vegetarier. Wir haben, unter anderem,  das herrliche, süße Obst sehr genossen.

Hotel is in perfect location within the historical site, the room is clean and comfy. Beautiful pool in the middle of the garden. Despite all ups, the downside was the service in general, however the reception was helpful when asked. Tips: Avoid staying the same floor as the reception because there is a staff room next to you, and the staff come to chitchat in the room and the hallway (the same hallway as guest doors, clearly echo). Beware of hot food running out from breakfast way earlier than closing time, you cannot request those eggs, bacons, mushroom if it's runs out. even there are many guests coming in and was no hot food. Like other comment says the hotel is full of potential and personally we think its a very peaceful & lovely place with historical charm. Just the frontline service staffs around the place still far from that so called well service. House keeping were friendly and helpful, gardening maintained well. Enjoyed the place and once learned to didnt expect any service, Its was the best way.

Negativi - eravamo nella stanza 314 la prima mattina intorno 5.30 siamo iniziati e continuarono per più di un'ora, la seconda mattina è successo di nuovo, ma non per così tanto tempo, pensavamo che fosse forse un generatore e speravamo che non succedesse di nuovo, ma Quella notte appena dopo 9pm è iniziata di nuovo, abbiamo chiamato la ricezione e hanno detto che era il Jacuzzi ? e è appena arrivato casualmente. e poi 5.15 è iniziata di nuovo e era così alto, sono andato a ricezione e il tipo di notte era così brutto ! Ha detto che era il Jacuzzi e questo accade spesso che avremmo dovuto lamentarci prima, ha detto perché lamentarsi ora, stai lasciando oggi! il suo servizio clienti era molto cattivo, e questo ha davvero messo gli indebolimenti sul nostro soggiorno. Spero che l'abbia fatto per altri ospiti.

Fantastic hotel. Stayed in a room with a small balcony and sea view. The sound of the crashing waves are very loud when you open the doors so if you’re not acquired to noise then you may want to choose a room not facing the sea. The room Itself was very clean and well maintained although the shower tiles had some dark marks on the grouting, doors and panels were spotless. The breakfast was very good but was almost the same each morning, to be fair, what else can you eat other than the usual stuff? Evening meals were lovely with a different choice each day but I personally found some dishes a little salty. This hotel is perfect if you want to just chill and relax and take long walks. The promenade is very flat with lovely a sunset each evening. As we went in the winter it was very quiet with plenty of room to manoeuvre. People are very friendly especially in the cafes and restaurants. There are many eateries but if you like coffees and cakes , oh and sushi, it is heaven. If this hotel had a few more facilities like an indoor pool and spa it would be perfect. I wouldn’t say that it is an ideal hotel if you have kids but the promenade would be nice for them to release some energy.
