Portogallo: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Distretto di Faro

Siamo arrivati ​​intorno alle 15:00 e la persona alla reception non è riuscita a trovare la nostra prenotazione effettuata tramite Trip.com. Con molta rabbia e insistenza ci ha detto che non poteva fare nulla e che dovevamo contattare Trip.com per risolvere la cosa con loro (dopo 9 ore di viaggio e tutte le possibili email di conferma). Mentre aspettavo che Trip.com ci rispondesse, un'altra persona ci ha chiamato dicendoci che era tutto in ordine, che non riuscivano a trovarlo a causa di un ”errore del computer”. Non una scusa, niente. La stanza non era male, al secondo piano, ben posizionata. Struttura alberghiera vecchia, le 5 stelle non sono meritate, sinceramente è un 4 stelle attuale, per il prezzo pagato va bene. Buona colazione a buffet, servizio altrettanto buono e attento. Abbiamo avuto un problema un giorno perché non hanno rifatto la stanza, abbiamo dovuto lamentarci alle 19:30 e hanno pulito e rifatto molto velocemente (e in modo abbastanza ”leggero”), ma, beh... Non possiamo commentare SPA, palestra ecc. poiché non abbiamo provato tali servizi.

L'hotel è situato in una strada molto tranquilla nel centro della città. Semplice ma molto pratico. La colazione viene servita in camera (motivo covid) Buona biancheria da letto e wifi funziona bene. Un piccolo balcone decora il tutto. Buon indirizzo per visitare Lagos. Ma attenzione a non fermarvi. Ci sono solo 2 depositi bagagli all'inizio della strada (30m dall'hotel) Ci sono alcuni posti liberi per strada... ma lo spazio è pieno, pieno Il parcheggio sul viale lungo il canale a 600 m dall'hotel costa 12 euro/giorno.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto il nostro soggiorno qui! L'hotel è nuovissimo, elegante, a pochi passi dal punto panoramico del tramonto e dalla famosa spiaggia. Sia la piscina interna che quella esterna erano incantevoli e il personale parlava fluentemente inglese :)

Just managed to book this for 1 day for my birthday weekendfor myself and my daughter and wished I had booked it for the entire duration of my 6 day stay in Portugal. Clean, peaceful, pool was crystal clear, staff were friendly. d I somehow managed to get it for a very competitive price, not the usual rate. Un lugar espectacular para desconectar, situado en plena naturaleza. Instalaciones bien cuidadas. Apartamentos grandes y muy cómodos. Tiene spa . Trabajados amables y resolutivos.

The rooms are generally quite good value for money with all the basic essentials. The service was generally quite good though some staff were noticeably more friendly than others. The location is ok but a bit of a walk from the marina and the ferries to the islands. The one major disappointment but this may have not been any fault of the hotel was the power cuts. There were several in one day and three of those occurred in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. You might be thinking well, if we were asleep, how did it affect us? Well, when the power cuts off the emergency lights kick in. When they came on, it woke us up. I understand the need for emergency lighting, but on that particular night we really didn’t sleep very night

Once called the Alvor Luna Bay when bedrooms seemed larger!!! Renamed and reshaped. Swishly refurbed as new. Now the main problem is the lack of storage in what seem smaller bedrooms despite voluminous balconies. Simply, storage is inadequate for two guests for longer than a week, maximum. Let me describe............ a small [4feet tall?] open metal wardrobe rail with five fixed point clothes hangers. Four or five open shelves beside this rail., one occupied by the rooms safe. In all other respects its fine. The staff good and plentiful and helpful. The location the best in town!

Very clean and new hotel. The carpets in the hallways were brilliant - well thought out to make wheeled suitcases easy to pull; also stylish. Bed was super comfortable, AC very effective, room was kept immaculately clean by friendly cleaning staff. Friendly staff served breakfast and in the roof top bar which was amazing, with 360degree views. Dipping pool and sun loungers were well-used; hard to get a lounger in time! Downside: some very odd management decisions. Despite description on Trip there was no cafe, no lunch or dinner and not even bar snacks! I rang on the 2nd day to ask for a bottle of water … response “Madam, this is a 3* hotel. You only get a bottle of water on your first day”!! Bizarre. I was able to buy a $0.99 bottle from the bar for €2.50! Breakfast: the ubiquitous coffee machine producing the most disgusting coffee - I tried all of them! In the end I risked tea and even the hot water had scum on it. I know I was not alone … bacon - HP sauce standing proud like a statue - no sausages, cooked tomato, fried egg etc! Pancakes and waffles - no syrup! Nice fresh bread rolls and croissants. Sliced cheese and packaged ham. Selection of cereals, orange juice and good selection of fruit. After 5 breakfasts I got fed up. WARNING - I was asked to give them my debit card to pay - she wrote down all the details! After I thought - why? I asked why - she said do they could charge me after I left if anything was missing or broken. I was assured this was legal in Portugal! I told them that was what “checkout” was for! I froze my card but I was really angry and when I have time to get a replacement I will need to cancel it! Balcony nice but only looked onto other rooms! Looking down - WHY NO GARDEN???!!! Just rooftops. I recommend a 4 hour boat trip …. Maybe 30m pleasant walk. Also hire bikes and go to the Nature Reserve - don’t miss Roman Salt Pits and beach crabs ….😊

The hotel room and location was great if you want to just relax and have beach time I would stay again  The meaks were great  For us we did find it a bit out of the way for touring other places and used bolt several times  The pool area is nice with both inside and outside pools  The beaches were very very nice but did have to work a bit to get down to them. We did enjoy the walk but there was lots of stairs (most places seem to have the same layout)  We were there 2nd wee of Feb weather was nice but was not swimming weather

Amabilidad del personal. Hotel con buen precio y que cuenta con las cosas que uno espera. Destaco además que el parking es gratuito. El desayuno es estupendo. Si he de poner una pega es el del ascensor, que era pequeño. Tampoco sé si había más de uno. Realmente no me hizo falta porque nos alojamos en la primera planta. En definitiva, es un hotel funcional, bien situado y con una relación calidad/precio muy competitiva.
