The hotel is located very nicely at the airport. We only need to walk 5 minutes to the check-in area. The hotel is also in front of the bus station going to the city center (~30min), and adjacent to the parking spots for the car rental. Hence, the logistic if you are travelling with car rental and have to leave early morning is just perfect.
Novotel chain hotel quality is already well known for their international standard, and even though the hotel is located very near to the airport runway, the room is very quite.

The hotel is right in the center of town, not a bad restaurant downstairs. The room had an iron, hairdryer, a few towels, bath amenities and even a fridge. Unfortunately my adapters did not work, but the reception gave me two adapters for the duration of my stay.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Compared to other Hilton properties, the bed here was noticeably larger and more comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and each bed was around 1.2 to 1.5 meters wide, whereas other hotels only offered very narrow single beds (about 0.9 meters).
There was also plenty of space between the beds, which made the room feel much more comfortable. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The location was also decent, making it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay overall.
I would highly recommend this hotel — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable and restful experience.

Peppers Bluewater Resort in Lake Tekapo is an absolute gem. Its lakeside location offers stunning views that are simply unforgettable. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable, providing a perfect base for exploring the area. It's a peaceful and scenic retreat that's well worth the visit.

Location is fantastic, room is accessible especially the toilet and the restaurant offers 10%off when dining in, with a good variety of food. Lake Tekapo is just outside our room...with these main attractions within 5mins walk.

La decorazione della stanza è molto nuova. C'è una fila di camere piatte all'ingresso, e ci sono due piani qui per il giardino.Il letto è molto comodo.E'il miglior motel di decorazione della nostra casa.L'unica carenza è che ci sono gusti strani nella stanza, non sapere se la decorazione è o qualcosa del genere, e andare nel bagno di notte e' quasi sospiro. Si consiglia di disgustare il proprietario di più ventilazione.Dall'altra parte è il parco di dominio Ashburton, un grande campo da gioco per bambini, i bambini sono molto lieti.Kmart Comprese Market, New World, countdown supermercato sono molto vicini.

Un hotel recentemente ristrutturato con personale amichevole. È a pochi passi dalla CBD, dal parco e dal ******. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite. Il personale è anche amichevole e ci è un ristorante aperto fino a tardi. Molto raccomandato e tornerà di nuovo!

UUtente ospiteEro un po' deluso. Mi aspettavo che questo fosse un posto di cinque stelle, ma c'erano molte cose che non erano di sicuro cinque stelle. I vestiti erano grigi e non coprivano le persone più grandi. Uno di loro aveva rovinato tutto, non volevo nemmeno indossarlo. La porta del bagno si svegliava forte, quindi se una persona si alzò al bagno a metà della notte, svegliava l'altra persona. Erano istruzioni su come usare il bagno, ma non su come mettere il piatto. Non solo piatto in normale. Non potevamo usarlo la nostra prima notte, che era molto frustrante, perché era una delle nostre principali attrazioni. Qualcuno è venuto a guardare e ha detto che dovevi girare un'apertura sul lato della spa, come poteva sapere? La chiusura sulla porta esterna era rotta e una piccola chiusura era stata messa in posizione. Perché non riparare la chiusura principale? Usai i bagni al lato della biblioteca e quando mi lavo le mani, il tappo era tutto libero e svolto intorno. Tutte queste cose sono poche, ma dimostra che l'alloggio ha bisogno di avere le cose fissate o aggiornate. Per $300 per notte, si aspetta il meglio. La cosa peggiore era la nostra ultima mattina, abbiamo fatto colazione circa le 8:45, il ristorante si chiude alle 9:30. Erano continentali e uova e bacon scrambled. A circa le 9:00 hanno smesso di portare più pane per tosta. Non sono stati portati più croissant, uova o bacon. Ci sono stati circa 6 tavoli con gli ospiti e tutti hanno continuato a salire e a controllare, ma non hanno riempito. La gente diceva che devono aver scappato da cibo! Ma per qualche ragione il cameriere ha continuato a sollevare i cassetti all'uovo e al bacon per vedere cosa c'era, ma naturalmente non c'era niente come non l'aveva riempito e era l'unico cameriere!! Ero davvero deluso e non lo consiglierei, a meno che non ti sia offerto un buon sconto.

PPei ChiExcept there's a stain on my bedsheet, the hotel is a great to stay in as it's spacious and other parts of rooms and toilets are clean. 15min walk to Bontanic gardens or to Riverside market and a ****** just opposite.. Was greeted warming by the staffs n a breeze to check in. It's worth for a long stay where all amenities are provided, especially love their Huia series.
Just to note the towels are changed every 3 days but u can have it changed upon request for environmental friendly purposes.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed at the hotel for 4 nights just recently, first arrived at the hotel, the reception was polite enough but not as helpful as any front desk staff coud be. The room was clean and comfy, location was fantastic, environment was superb (quite, few hote guests).
But somehow my wife lost her wedding ring from our room. We only noticed by the end of the day, and should have picked up earier.
Mr. Sui Beng Teh, the hotel manager, made it even worse from a travellers point of view. He has the worse attitude to the whole incident, instead of offering his empathy, he pushed responsibility back to the hotel guests who lost the wedding ring in his room at his hotel. His passive aggression is throughout all the poor google review!
He reacted bluntly when questioned about CCTV other than the door access record he could provide immediately, being agreesive at his answer and attitude towards to someone who turned over the room to just look for the missing ring. He was not friendly, empathatic nor welcoming despit he is in hospitality industry.
Im not blaming at anyone here or making any accusation on anyone but he as the hotel manager was the only one we could seek help for in a foreign country, and he expected us undedstanding how police and system worked here. To us, he made us sound like ****** and being forgetful on our own properties.

LLouis ConnorWe were running late and were going to miss the advertised check-in time, so I called ahead to find out what to do. Although no-one answered the phone, we were informed by the automated answerphone that if you missed check-in, they would leave your keys to your room in a lock-box outside reception. This is a major plus for travellers as it can be so hard to execute your travel plans to schedule!
The facilities in The Lodge, where we were staying were mostly communal and hostel-like - people seemed to hang around in hallways. For some this could be a great way to socialise or otherwise intimidating. These communal areas were slightly untidy and unclean. We stayed in a room with en-suite facilities. It was very basic with two large twin beds pushed together to make a King-sized bed. The shower temperature fluctuated massively but we had a comfortable stay.
We did not eat on-site as we found it to be overpriced but we did notice that there was a wide range of social events such as a pub quiz which would have been super fun if we had more time!

Situazione non vicino al centro, ma molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria del treno Costa Pacifico, che è stata la mia ragione per prenotare questo motel.

UUtente ospiteWhen I arrived I was told I had an upstairs unit. Unfortunately I had a lot of luggage. Changing to a lower level was not possible. But an offer was made to assist me with the luggage.
I drove towards the unit and there is no available parking close by. I drove back to the front desk and explained my problem. They told me that they could move a car to allow me to park. One of the staff followed me back and took care of finding a space and also delivering a cone so that I could hold the space when I went out to dinner. He also came back to help with the luggage. So great staff! But the lack of parking (because they let people leave their cars there when they fly) would make me reconsider staying again.
I’d booked an Economy studio and was given an Economy two bedroom. Unit was a blend of older and newer features. Bathroom was updated but shower stall looked older and not as clean. Good water pressure.
Ordered breakfast at the on-site Restaurant. The waffles with berry compote & lemon curd was a large portion but very tasty. Great coffee.

UUtente ospiteAbbiamo prenotato una camera di famiglia, che era suddivisa in due piani dove il livello superiore aveva il letto grande e il livello inferiore aveva i letti gemelli, che funzionavano bene per i viaggiatori anziani. La cucina era ben attrezzata con un lavastoviglie e una catena di range. Vorrei che avessero fornito il ghiaccio. L'unico grande svantaggio era la situazione di parcheggio dove, nonostante avesse un grande parcheggio, si prelevano NZ$20+ extra per parcheggio overnight.
