Malesia: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Terengganu

La camera era spaziosa, il letto comodo, la vista spettacolare. C'è stato un problema con il traghetto di arrivo a causa di un cambio di orario che non coincideva con il mio volo, ma l'hotel ci ha generosamente offerto un trasferimento gratuito in barca dopo aver inviato alcune email. La zona dell'hotel era tranquilla a causa della stagione dei monsoni, quindi è perfetta anche se piove tutti i giorni.

Ciao Team Peridot, Ho soggiornato di recente al Peridot per 2 notti con la mia famiglia e ho appena fatto il check-out oggi. Comincio con gli aspetti positivi. L'isola in sé è bellissima, il paesaggio è mozzafiato e la camera e le strutture del resort sono generalmente buone. Il resort ha certamente un grande potenziale. Purtroppo, l'esperienza del servizio è stata estremamente deludente e ha influenzato in modo significativo la nostra vacanza. Il problema maggiore è stato che molti membri del personale sembravano poco addestrati e incapaci di gestire correttamente le richieste degli ospiti. Durante tutto il nostro soggiorno, i problemi si sono ripetuti in diversi dipartimenti. Alcuni esempi: • Il menu della colazione era esattamente lo stesso in entrambe le mattine. • Il tè caldo a colazione era sempre tiepido perché non veniva mantenuto adeguatamente caldo. • I cornflakes e il latte erano posti in contenitori molto piccoli, richiedendo continui rabbocchi. • Il personale sembrava sopraffatto e insufficiente, con conseguente servizio lento e incoerente. • Una sera, abbiamo ordinato patatine fritte e bevande al ristorante. Le bevande sono arrivate, ma dopo aver aspettato 30 minuti, abbiamo scoperto che l'ordine delle patatine non era mai stato elaborato. Abbiamo annullato l'ordine e abbiamo dato a nostro figlio dei noodle istantanei. • Durante una serata piovosa, abbiamo richiesto il trasporto con la golf cart e ci è stato detto che il servizio terminava alle 18:00. Il resort poteva fornire solo un ombrello e non ne aveva altri disponibili. • Le pulizie non hanno rifornito gli articoli da bagno. Dopo aver richiesto il bagnoschiuma nel pomeriggio, non è arrivato nulla. Più tardi ci è stato detto che le pulizie avevano già chiuso per la giornata. • La mattina seguente, gli articoli da toeletta sono stati consegnati solo dopo un'altra telefonata. Prima è arrivato il bagnoschiuma, poi lo shampoo dopo una seconda chiamata, ma il balsamo non è mai arrivato. È stato sorprendente che un set completo non sia stato fornito fin dall'inizio. • L'esperienza più frustrante è avvenuta durante il check-out. Avevamo informato la reception al nostro arrivo che avremmo preso la barca delle 11:00 il giorno della partenza e ci era stato detto che il pagamento poteva essere effettuato il giorno stesso. Tuttavia, quando siamo arrivati al molo, non ci era stato prenotato alcun posto. Dopo essere tornati al resort, ci è stato detto che la prenotazione non era stata fatta perché il pagamento non era stato ricevuto prima, e ci è stato chiesto di trovare noi stessi i posti disponibili. Capisco che errori occasionali capitino in qualsiasi hotel. Tuttavia, il numero di mancate prestazioni del servizio durante un soggiorno di sole 2 notti è stato semplicemente eccessivo per un resort che si propone come struttura a 4 stelle. Questo è un feedback autentico da parte di un ospite deluso. Spero che il team di gestione lo prenda sul serio e investa maggiori sforzi nella formazione del personale, nella comunicazione e negli standard di servizio. Gli ospiti vengono a Redang per rilassarsi e godersi la vacanza, non per passare il tempo a inseguire ripetutamente servizi di base. Spero sinceramente che i futuri ospiti abbiano un'esperienza migliore della nostra.

Coral View era incantevole soprattutto per la sua posizione. Proprio di fronte all'hotel si aprivano un giardino di coralli e un paesaggio sottomarino. Ho trascorso tre giorni facendo snorkeling con il viso immerso nell'acqua. Un giorno piovve a dirotto per tutto il giorno e trascorsi quella giornata dentro al cottage perché non c'era altro da fare a parte andare al ristorante dell'hotel. Non so se su tutta l'isola siano disponibili massaggi o altri servizi per i giorni di pioggia. Il cottage era ok, abbastanza modesto, ma pulito. Se ti piace fare snorkeling e questo è tutto ciò che desideri dalla tua vacanza, questo è il posto che fa per te. Ho fatto snorkeling anche dall'altro lato del molo per cercare le tartarughe, ma non ne ho vista nessuna. Tuttavia, è possibile avvistare piccole e graziose razze tra i coralli di fronte all'hotel. Ricordatevi di non toccare i coralli!

We initially had a frustrating experience as our towels were delivered quite late. However, the situation was handled professionally by Manager Iza, who personally delivered the towels to our room and sincerely apologized for the delay. Her prompt action and attention to guests made a positive difference. Overall, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We booked four rooms and requested them to be located near each other, which the hotel successfully accommodated. However, housekeeping services need improvement, as one of our rooms was not serviced and there were some inconsistencies in room maintenance during our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. It is close to everything we needed, with Restoran Singgang Budu located right beside the hotel. There are also laundry facilities nearby, and plenty of food options within walking distance, making it a great choice for travelers. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and genuinely tried their best to accommodate our requests throughout our stay. While housekeeping could be improved, the service recovery by the management team and the hotel’s strategic location made our overall stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Langit Duyong Hotel, Terengganu for 2 nights. First of all, I would like to say that the ambience, location, and overall scenery were truly beautiful. The view was one of the main highlights of my stay. The peaceful waterfront setting and natural surroundings created a relaxing atmosphere, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property has great potential and offers a unique experience compared to typical hotels. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by several issues. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. Upon check-in, the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and I had to contact housekeeping to perform a second round of cleaning. While the housekeeping team responded, guests should not have to request additional cleaning upon arrival. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any accommodation. Another concern was the maintenance of the surrounding area. The grass around the property was quite long and appeared untrimmed. As a guest, this raised concerns about the possibility of snakes, insects, or other animals entering the vicinity of the rooms. Regular landscaping and maintenance would greatly improve both safety and the overall appearance of the property. The most frustrating issue, however, was the ongoing renovation work at the neighbouring unit/building. There was significant construction noise starting early in the morning during both days of my stay. What made this more disappointing was that guests were not informed beforehand about the renovation activities. Had I known in advance, I could have managed my expectations or made a different booking decision. Transparency regarding major renovation works is important, especially for guests who choose this property expecting a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view, strategic location, and unique atmosphere of the hotel. However, the cleanliness issues, lack of landscape maintenance, and unannounced renovation noise greatly affected the experience. I left feeling both impressed by the property’s potential and disappointed by the management’s attention to guest comfort. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously, as with better maintenance, communication, and housekeeping standards, this could be a truly exceptional place to stay in Terengganu.

The stay was only for one night but it left me with a lasting impression that this will not be my last stay here…  Location was great 👍 nearby 2 major malls in Kuala Trengganu ie KTCC & Mayang Mall. Food outlets are ample situated within the vicinity. Room was spacious and basic amenities well provided. Bed was so plushy & comfy. Mostly, I was impressed with the bathroom… elevated from room floor with ample space for toilet & shower. Most hotels nearby will have problem with parking but here, no worries about parking as there are ample parking space behind the hotel with minimum daily rate. Overall, a satisfying stay and will repeat stay for future trips.

Pros- The location is good and the environment of the outside resort is also good.also the beach view is stunning.as well as their breakfast also not bad. Cons - their room situation is very very bad. Need to renovate. So old furniture and everything inside the room.feels like it will break now.Also smelly.The door even the bed everything is half broken already. Even it was rusting inside. So I will say it’s not worth it with the price we paid for one night in this room.  Suggestion- your resort is big also attractive. Please do some renovations so you can attract more guests also can give them a better experience thank you.

Things i enjoyed: Clean beach, large pools with playgrounds, friendly staffs. Pools have lifeguards on duty. Huge lobby. Kids fun club is okay. Just that the inflatable playground wasn't very sturdy. Cons: Lack of activities, hallway a big dark at night. One of thhings i wished to do here is atv ride and get a spa massage. But the atv is no longer available. The spas are no longer open. A bit sad. The place have a lot of potential. Went to turtoise information center but no one there. A security staff told us to go to reception for more info but just didn't have enough time to. The place is huge. Food is a bit pricey but i guess its okay for 4 or 5 stars hotel. Just that the taste is average.
