Mauritius: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Rivière du Rempart

Location was OK. A bit far from Port Louis where I was commuting to (like 30-40 minutes drive after peak hour), but I chose that so it’s OK. I wanted to retreat. Getting taxis after 8pm as a foreigner without local taxi apps is a nightmare so be conscious of this. The cleanliness was wanting. First day big cockroach emerges crawling and at check in the manager just stomps it and kicks it out. No issue but the stain is was on the floor next day when I returned, unmopped! I also found a smaller one on the coffee table, smacked it with my slipper and left the carcass there to test if it would be cleaned as I’d read reviews about bugs and cleanliness needing improvement. It was still there till I messaged concierge to complain about poor cleaning. The dishes also had some stains on some days and the kitchen counter tops were not cleaned with one day me finding cooking oil residue on it after I’d made an egg, exactly where I left it. Again, to test cleaning rigour. The extra kitchen/ dish cloth that was folded and left in the drawer also had flour residue. It obviously wasn’t cleaned or even checked before being returned. On day 2 I was met by a huge flying cockroach on my bedroom wall that I used all the Doom on (thank God they provide this in the apartment 🫣) as I’m petrified of bugs and huge flying ones at that! I left the carcass on the floor after battling that creature for like 30 minutes to test housekeeping and thankfully this one was removed as I left it in plain sight. I had to tell concierge at check out that cleaning in this place needs massive massive improvement. Otherwise it’s a great huge space with great amenities and fittings, loads of parking space and well located for a vacation. The breakfast was just OK. Nothing special. Concierge was proactive in communicating and the security levels are good. They charge a $/€550 deposit on top of the accommodation rate at check in so read the fine print. But it is just a pre-authorization on card so instantly released to card, if you damage nothing. If cash, it’s also instant at check out. I would return, but they need to work out their housekeeping and fumigation issues.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the hotel. It's important to understand that this is a three-star property, and it truly lives up to that rating. Don't expect anything more than what is offered here. I would say this hotel is more of a club-style accommodation, making it especially suitable for the Mauritian summer, as the weather here can be quite windy and even a bit cool at times. The service is excellent, with very attentive and responsive staff. The breakfast and dinner buffets are diverse and delicious, featuring a wide selection of dishes tailored to European tourists. The hotel is not new, and some renovation work is ongoing in certain areas. The beach is small but well-equipped and atmospheric. Upon entering the sea, there are some stones at first, but then you can swim comfortably. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much; however, I would appreciate better cleaning in the rooms and some renovations to update the rooms' interiors.

The hotel is in need of a makeover, some of the fittings a little outdated. The pool is little more than a plunge pool though the setting is superb. The breakfast is average, so much so that whilst my wife went for breakfast most days I stayed in the room and just had yoghurts. The minibar doesn’t work and nothing is cold in it. There’s no room service menu though they allow outside deliveries for guests. That’s all the bad points. Now for the good points. The rooftop bar is relaxed and atmospheric, the sunsets there are sensational and the cocktails are superb. The service from the staff was incredible. Always helpful and informative and willing to go the extra mile to make you welcome and that makes up for the shortcomings of the actual building itself. Also the location close to Perrybere beach and a short taxi ride to Grand Baie is pretty good too, though it’s a long taxi ride from the airport.

Hotel complesso tipicamente Mauritius molto ben organizzato e affascinante che offre molte attività e ben situato per radiare nel nord di Mauritius. Tutto è disponibile per assicurare che il soggiorno si svolga perfettamente (assistenza, attività, visite, taxi, ecc.) Diversi ristoranti offerti sul posto (ristorante buffet e ristoranti che mettono in evidenza la gastronomia locale) compreso nel prezzo in mezza pensione e all in. Il buffet è molto vario e raffigura anche la cucina locale. Il personale è ascoltato e molto utile. Per informazioni, prega di prenotare i ristoranti per poter gustare le varie cucine locali (india, mauriziana e cinese).

Abbiamo soggiornato al Residence Le Point Choisy da gennaio a febbraio 2026 in una camera con angolo cottura. L'appartamento è pulito, confortevole e dotato di tutto il necessario. La cucina è completamente attrezzata, con spezie e olio. L'acqua potabile è disponibile gratuitamente e i refrigeratori si trovano nel corridoio comune. Un grande vantaggio è la colazione, inclusa nel prezzo del soggiorno. La colazione viene servita dalle 7:30 alle 9:30. Un minimarket si trova nello stesso edificio, di fronte all'ingresso principale, dove è possibile acquistare verdura, frutta, latticini, carne, dolci, alcolici e altro ancora. L'aparthotel dispone di un parcheggio sotterraneo, ma è necessario avvisare il personale in anticipo se si necessita di un posto auto. La splendida spiaggia pubblica di Mont Choisy è raggiungibile a piedi in soli 10-15 minuti. Il proprietario e il personale sono molto attenti ai loro ospiti e fanno tutto il possibile per rendere il soggiorno il più confortevole possibile. Gli asciugamani da spiaggia vengono forniti in un'apposita borsa, che ne facilita il trasporto in spiaggia. Sedie a sdraio e ombrelloni sono disponibili su richiesta. Ma non è tutto! Al momento del check-in, vi verrà consegnata una cartella speciale contenente tutte le informazioni utili per aiutarvi ad ambientarvi il più rapidamente possibile. Abbiamo trascorso due settimane meravigliose e speriamo di tornare a Mauritius e soggiornare al Residence Le Point Choisy.

В первую очередь хочется начать с положительных сторон этого отеля, их две- красивая и ухоженная территория, а также красивый интерьер в комнате и вкусная еда по меню на ужине. На этом плюсы заканчиваются. Это был наш третий отель на острове в данной категории и поэтому есть, с чем сравнить. Самое неудачное место по уровню сервиса. Конечно, если вы непритязательный отдыхающий, то это место подойдёт. Нам показалось, что дело обстоит в крайнем низкой налаженности процессов управления внутри отеля и экономии на всём. В номере лежат капсулы и кофемашина, которые являются платными ( бесплатны только две капсулы кофе на весь срок пребывания). Всё напитки на ужине являются платными, даже вода. Еда вкусная, но помимо этого немаловажно отметить, что на ужине много раз приходилось ждать еду по два часа. Мы высказывали свое недовольство неоднократно и не готовы сидеть в столовый два часа, так как у нас есть работа и мы очень ограничены во времени. Наверное, повар просто не справляется приготовить такое количество еды для подобной загрузки отеля. Некоторые люди просто вставали и уходили, не дождавшись десерта. Это крайнее неуважение к гостям. В первые дни мы заметили, что шампуни, гели для душа и другие предметы не пополняются после уборки, просили на ресепшн принять меры, но только после письменной жалобы они приняли меры и стали более внимательно следить за уборкой. Спасибо за оперативную реакцию, мы рады, что отель реагирует и прислушивается. Наверное, я бы рекомендовала этот отель брать изначально без питания, либо только завтраки. Отель предоставляет бесплатные каяки, катамаран, на которых можно поплавать вдоль пляжа, хамам. Есть чайная пауза ( полдник) : первый день бесплатно, потом по 350 рупий в день. Персонал дружелюбный и стремится помочь, но нужно работать сразу быстро и чётко, чтобы у гостя не оставалось неприятное впечатление.

Absolument parfait ! À recommander à 100%. Nous avons tout adoré , le cadre, l’accueil, les prestations, la restauration. Cet endroit ressemble au paradis ! Le personnel est adorable et le voyage a été magique ! Il s’agit de notre troisième séjour et nous reviendrons assurément !!

Это просто чудесный отель. Не Турция, не типичный курорт - райское наслаждение, где ты и океан. Номера супер, кухня и сервис на высоте. Шикарный спа, спорт зал, даже зал на крыше с видом для воркаута. Уборка не один раз в день, такое чувство, что пока тебя нет - феи чистоты прилетают. Завтрак 10/10. Вода в номер в любом количестве. Очень много делается для того, чтобы ты чувствовал себя по истине LUX.

Grande posto! Penso che manchi solo un asciugacapelli più grande per i capelli, un letto più grande e poi una stanza di lavanderia per fare lavanderia. Inoltre, una migliore illuminazione nelle camere sarà utile se si vuole fare il maquillaggio. Oltre a questo, grande soggiorno 😊Definitivamente raccomandare questo posto! La gente è molto amichevole e utile!

La struttura è moderna, ben mantenuta e offre un'atmosfera tranquilla perfetta per il relax. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e ben attrezzate, rendendo la permanenza molto comoda. Il personale era caldo, amichevole e sempre disposto ad aiutare con un sorriso.
