Irlanda: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Contea di Wicklow

Hotel is in a stunning location. The staff were friendly. I felt sorry for the young girl at reception who had to deal with a very rude, obnoxious, entitled American woman.  Our room was spacious and clean, had a nice hot shower. They provide tea/coffee in the room, although no complementary biscuit that you get in other hotels - a biscoff biscuit would have been a nice touch. We had lunch in the restaurant which was nice, however the restaurant and the other places to eat in the outside area were expensive. €22 for fish and chips seems excessive. The hotel was fairly quiet too which surprised us considering its August. No much atmosphere in the bistro bar which was empty at 10pm except for the 3 of us. We had breakfast too. The full Irish breakfast was tasty, coffee machine provided decent coffee. However, there were limited options at breakfast for people who didn’t want a full Irish breakfast. No pastries such as croissants or pain au chocolat - these things are cheap for hotels to provide. Cereal options was rice crispies and corn flakes- surely they could offer a few more cereal options? Overall, our stay was enjoyable and relaxing but a few little simple extra touches and it could be a lot better. Will definitely go back and stay as Glendalough is a favourite spot of mine.

Un bel posto tranquillo, vorrei che restassi più a lungo. Il letto era così comodo, non volevo andarmene. E'anche un giro di cinque minuti per i laghi Glendarough. Una delle mie proposte è di avere più dettagli sul check-in e check-out, e qualcuno facilmente disponibile per qualsiasi domanda da parte degli ospiti. Quando siamo arrivati, abbiamo dovuto chiamare un campanello e ci è voluto un po' parlare con qualcuno. Quando siamo andati, abbiamo chiuso il campanello per poter parlare con il curatore/ricevimento circa 1030, ma nessuno era intorno.

La stanza è pulita e pulita, la bella ruota del campo da golf è bella, il colazione è al secondo piano. Il colazione di fine settimana è operativo fino alle 11:00. In Irlanda dovrò vivere un'altra volta in questo hotel, mi piace molto!

We totally enjoyed our stay. We meet friends in the bar and we had a great catch up with a few drinks. The lad playing was very good. The staff where wonderful. We most certainly would stay again.

Staff were lovely, warm & helpful & room was comfortable. Absolutely fine midweek & lovely bar downstairs. Unless you’re a party type I’d guess it would be one to avoid at weekends though. Bring a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to light - new smoke alarms emit blue light

The hotel is located in a very quiet, green area, not far from the sea. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean and cozy. It was a really great weekend away from the city.

Nice location, friendly service and help when needed, good food, clean and neat! Could use a second chair in the bedroom with a floor lamp. Just a suggestion.

Lovely location ... perfect for a relaxing break. Already booked to go back.

Venendo a Dublino per due settimane, la prima settimana ha vissuto due giorni, e il bambino ha vissuto dietro la sua guardia per cinque giorni, e ha vissuto profondamente l'hotel.L'ambiente è molto adatto per le vacanze intorno alle montagne; la camera degli ospiti è elegante e antica, progettata ragionevolmente; Due ristoranti di stile diversi dell'hotel sono molto buoni. Il bambino ha chiesto di tornare all'hotel per mangiare biff e patate ogni giorno; le strutture sportive sono buone, la piscina è in generale buona, la piscina è un po'scura; l'unico incidente è che il servizio di camera è scarso nel processo e il manager dell'hotel è stato proposto per risolvere immediatamente. Credo che la prossima volta continuerà a scegliere l'hotel.
