TTravellingcouplein40’sMolto carino e festivo. In generale abbiamo avuto un bellissimo soggiorno, ma molto costoso e alcune piccole cose.
Dovevi prenotare ristoranti e spa che significavano che non potevamo usare il spa, e alcuni ristoranti, mentre prenotiamo il viaggio di mattina e non abbiamo lasciato alcuna prenotazione, dovevamo avere un servizio in camera che ci voleva più di un'ora e mezza per sandwich e nessun cibo caldo dopo le 22:30.
Breakfast buono, anche se molto lungo aspettare 40 minuti al giorno di partenza abbiamo usato il ristorante della firma come Olive/main ristorante anche più occupato.
Il bar con cantante e musicista era rilassante e offreva solo quello che cercavamo, ma meno di 16 sterline per cocktail è forte.
Abbiamo usato la sala di firma per un prosecco gratuito (tra 4-6) il giorno dell'arrivo, ma chiuso presto, in modo che non sia mai più utilizzato.
Le piccole cose in camera - mai riempite di acqua, biscotti Welsh o vino per cui abbiamo migliorato. Nessuna squadra di coperchio e telefono non ha funzionato per chiamare il custode, ha trovato un membro del personale e aspettato un'ora e non è ancora arrivato, quindi abbiamo preso il vino per aprirlo.
Non si può collegare allo schermo se si usano mele, solo androide? Nessun flanelli nel bagno e nessun bagno a bolle per il bagno che era una vergogna.
La maggior parte del personale amichevole, anche se alcuni hanno avuto un piccolo atteggiamento alla ricezione quando abbiamo chiesto di basi come l'acqua. Concierge è stato utile e amichevole. Torneremmo indietro (che abbiamo già visitato prima) e chiederemmo l'aggiornamento alle stanze di firma.

PPriscilla omokhaHonestly, I’m not even gonna lie Mercure Hotel in Newport is such a wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist who attended to us was super lovely. She explained everything about our voucher clearly, and even when we had to go back downstairs to ask her something (because I wasn’t really paying attention but my man was 😅), she was still so patient and kind.
The whole experience was amazing. I had a really great night the bed was super comfy, the food and dinner at the lounge were delicious, and the service throughout was top-notch. Breakfast the next morning was also soooo good! The hotel was spotless, the vibe was calm, and everything felt just perfect.
I genuinely recommend Mercure Newport to anyone planning to stay in the area. Whether you’re visiting or you already live in Newport, you have to experience how clean, luxurious, and peaceful it is. It’s such a relaxing and cozy environment! 🖤✨

UUtente ospiteThis hotel was a fall back for me I’m glad I chose to go here after a disappointing hotel I arrived to originally and I should have booked here first.
Hotel is located centrally and close to local bars and shopping areas.
The members of staff I met were all lovely and very helpful!
The room was spotless.
The only issues I had was there was no shampoo just shower gel and the heating in the room didn’t get to full temp but at this time of year the heating was not a huge deal!
I stayed in room 201 so it was situated close to the lift but was far enough away to not be disturbed by the sound of it.
Will be staying here again

Il check-in era facile, la stanza era abbastanza grande e pulita.
Il pranzo era buono, il ristorante era cambiabile, i pesci erano molto buoni, i frutti (chips) la sera successiva non erano così buoni (penso che il cibo era stato troppo lungo sotto una lampada a caldo)
La posizione era OK, eravamo li' per Cardiff e questo era più lontano in attesa (in tempi di guida), ma era la nostra scelta personale.
Può consigliare questo hotel per certo.

MMohammad Salem 069L'hotel è nuovo, molto pulito e dispone di personale estremamente amichevole. È qualcosa fuori città che era ideale per il mio soggiorno in occasione del semimaratone di Cardiff. La colazione è eccellente, così come la cena. La mia stanza era in buono stato. In generale, è assolutamente consigliabile – Mi piacerebbe tornare.

USB sockets, reading lights and lamps, Samsung 32” Smart TV compatible with with mobile phones, tablets and pc/lap. Desk with desk lamp and luggage storage along with open wardrobe and bedside drawers/unit. Large full size mirror. The Queen size bed is comfortable and has plenty of pillows/bedding.
Bathroom is one of the best I have seen In hotels with modern and clean fittings. Subway tiling with chrome finish fittings, large bath with waterfall shower and over bath shower attachment for when just your hair needs washing. Huge fitted mirror with lighting and ample space for your toiletries etc. Towel rail and door hooks all complete the better than most bathroom. Towels and toiletries/hand wash/kettle and mugs, glasses, quality hangers and the attention to details all complete a good value room. The hotel flows on to the pub/ restaurant.
Being Green King the food is all good. An extensive food and drinks menu. Easy and user friendly app allows ordering from your table for food and drinks. Overall the convenience of both hotel and bar with good service and good value a highly recommendable place to stay whether your here for business, leisure or just a night or two r&r The New Inn @ Green King always hits the mark.
If you have breakfast with room it's served at the restaurant with hot & cold options Continental and Full English. Both perfectly presented and quality products.
Parking for guests is free and input of car registration avoids any after stay fees.

MMottySome of the frontline staff charged me a different card payment than the booking agent had agreed to. This made me feel very confused. Fortunately, their senior management, Mr. Deepy, listened patiently to my explanation and understood my discounted room rate. He explained everything clearly and eased my worries. After a few days, the card was finally charged correctly.

AAndrew MiaoI stayed here for eight nights from July 19th to 27th and never felt uncomfortable or out of place. The hotel rooms and towels were exceptionally clean.
Though the breakfast menu remained the same daily, the freshness of the offerings made it enjoyable every morning. Parking was tight at times, but I always managed to find a spot with peace of mind.
I visit Wales nearly every year, and it looks like I’ll be returning to this hotel again next year.

MMahesh Kumar MohanL'hotel è situato molto vicino alla congiunzione autostradale. Più facile per i viaggiatori per un soggiorno notturno. L'hotel ha anche abbastanza spazio per parcheggio auto. Purtroppo la camera che ho soggiornato aveva un odore molto cattivo. La doccia e il bagno erano anche spaventati, ma mi sono divertito, perché stavo solo per una notte. Non ideale se stai per un paio di giorni e pianifica di passare la maggior parte del giorno nella stanza.

Doors slamming and people talking in the main corridor through the night. Fair to say that I had very little sleep and will never ever stay here again.
