All the staff go above and beyond polite always welcoming with a smile when I arrived my room wasn't quite ready the lady on reception made me a coffee while I waited for the room to be cleaned will recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Newport and it only about 3 minutes from train station

Booked this hotel to attend conference nearby. Loved the Signature room, which was big with seating area. Complimentary bottle of wine, or substitute with bottles of non-alcoholic drinks was nice touch. Pastries provided at the lounge made for quick and easy breakfast option. Enjoyed the swimming pool, jet pool, sauna and hot steam room in the Health club. Area around Resort is also very big, walking along the woodlands trail to the Golf club was therapeutic. Stay Signature room, worth the additional upgrade.

Honestly, I’m not even gonna lie Mercure Hotel in Newport is such a wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist who attended to us was super lovely. She explained everything about our voucher clearly, and even when we had to go back downstairs to ask her something (because I wasn’t really paying attention but my man was 😅), she was still so patient and kind. The whole experience was amazing. I had a really great night the bed was super comfy, the food and dinner at the lounge were delicious, and the service throughout was top-notch. Breakfast the next morning was also soooo good! The hotel was spotless, the vibe was calm, and everything felt just perfect. I genuinely recommend Mercure Newport to anyone planning to stay in the area. Whether you’re visiting or you already live in Newport, you have to experience how clean, luxurious, and peaceful it is. It’s such a relaxing and cozy environment! 🖤✨

I stayed here for eight nights from July 19th to 27th and never felt uncomfortable or out of place. The hotel rooms and towels were exceptionally clean. Though the breakfast menu remained the same daily, the freshness of the offerings made it enjoyable every morning. Parking was tight at times, but I always managed to find a spot with peace of mind. I visit Wales nearly every year, and it looks like I’ll be returning to this hotel again next year.

Located very close to the centre Acceptably clean rooms  No hair dryer though Yassin was very friendly at front desk😍

L'hotel è nuovo, molto pulito e dispone di personale estremamente amichevole. È qualcosa fuori città che era ideale per il mio soggiorno in occasione del semimaratone di Cardiff. La colazione è eccellente, così come la cena. La mia stanza era in buono stato. In generale, è assolutamente consigliabile – Mi piacerebbe tornare.

Good, clean rooms, conveniently located to the conference hall at the manor . Nothing to fault really.

Some of the frontline staff charged me a different card payment than the booking agent had agreed to. This made me feel very confused. Fortunately, their senior management, Mr. Deepy, listened patiently to my explanation and understood my discounted room rate. He explained everything clearly and eased my worries. After a few days, the card was finally charged correctly.

Non si può indebolire l'alloggio e il servizio. Ottima camera, cibo e personale. Non c'era nulla di troppo per loro.

Paper thin walls and a ceiling that bounces when the people above walk around. 2am fire alarm which the receptionist didn’t seem to know what to do. Doors slamming and people talking in the main corridor through the night. Fair to say that I had very little sleep and will never ever stay here again.
