Regno Unito: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Devon

L'hotel è in una posizione molto pittoresca, vista sul lago. Le camere sono grandi, con letti confortevoli e prezzi per un soggiorno molto ragionevoli. Dopo aver detto che, il totalemente senza chiamare per sorpresa, inamici e chiaramente insufficiente di un membro del personale alla reception quando siamo tornati all'hotel dopo aver andato alle gare di Newton Abbot, ha sorpreso il soggiorno di notte per il nostro gruppo di 7. In primo luogo, dopo aver servito bevande a due membri del nostro gruppo, che sono arrivati all'hotel davanti al resto di noi, non gli ha permesso di portare le bevande fuori da una veranda, in modo che potessero fumare e non potessero fornire alcuna buona ragione per rifiutare la In secondo luogo, quando il resto di noi arrivava all'hotel a circa 11.30pm il bar era chiuso e si rifiutò di servirci qualsiasi bevanda, anche se noi chiese gentilmente, voleva solo un altro drink prima di andare a letto. Era anche corto, brutto e distintamente insopportabile quando gli chiese di indicarci verso le nostre stanze, dando una parola di risposte e sembrando che tutti noi lo considerassimo un ostacolo. In generale, questa esperienza ci ha fatto rammarico della nostra scelta di hotel e siamo disposti a tornare in hotel in futuro. Un altro influsso è stato che il servizio di colazione era povero e lento, con colazione cucinata che richiedeva 25 minuti per arrivare e molti elementi chiave mancavano e non riempivano a meno che gli ospiti non fossero stati chiesti specificamente, tra cui tazze, sacchi di tè, zucchero e succo d’arancia,

Un bel hotel pulito in una posizione molto buona Solo una stanza standard che era un po' sul lato piccolo se sono onesto - è sempre difficile quando c'è meno di un gap a piedi tra il letto e il muro Altrimenti, era tutto molto bello e così era il colazione Non ricordo di vedere sul sito niente di pagare per il parcheggio alla reception per solo £10 . Ho letto che ci erano parcheggi vicino a quella tassa 12.50 per 24 ore, quindi ho parcheggiato nel parcheggio addiacente e pagato la somma più cara.

I have stayed here before. The price I paid for a Saturday night was £39. The hotel has been refurbishing in stages for a while so it can be pot luck if you have a refurbished room or not. The room was clean and bathroom spotless. Lady who checked us in was very friendly. The only complaint I could say was the room we had phone signal was non existent, could have been warmer in the room but it's between summer and winter and for us it was OK. I like this hotel and for the price you'd struggle to find somewhere as good. Will visit again.

The Exeter Court Hotel was really clean and the room was well set up, including tea and coffee, a TV, a hair dryer and ample space for clothes. We purchased the breakfast which was great. A wide selection of food and wonderful, attentive staff. There is a ”night-quiet” request from 10pm to 7am, which I applaud. The hotel has a huge car park and is close to a petrol station and just off the M5 where it becomes an A road, yet it was surprisingly quiet. I recommend and would go again. Thanks Exeter Court!

Abbiamo soggiornato in due camere King con balconi come famiglia e l'hotel nel suo complesso ha molto da fare. La posizione è fantastica nel cuore di Exeter, perfetto per camminare ovunque. L'hotel stesso è molto bello, soprattutto il bar celeste in alto piano. Le viste sono eccellenti, le bevande sono molto buone, e il servizio in alto è stato genuinamente amichevole e attento. Abbiamo anche preso alcuni nibbles nel ristorante in basso e il cibo e il servizio erano solidi. Le camere erano pulite, spaziose e i balconi erano un bel toccamento, tutto si sentiva moderno e confortevole. L'unico reale downside e è un grande è il servizio di desk front. Per un hotel a questo punto di prezzo (e soprattutto come proprietà IHG), è davvero lasciato tutto il posto. Il personale era lento, non particolarmente conosciuto (e odio aggiungere, non il ”più veloce”), e a volte molto breve/ridotto. Ci è stato detto quando ci siamo accertati che avremmo avuto un checkout tardivo come membri dell’IHG, ma quando siamo tornati più tardi un altro membro del personale non aveva idea di cosa stavo parlando e sembrava confuso su come gestirlo. Alla fine ha offerto solo una stanza fino alle 12:00, che dopo un check-in alle 3:00 non si sente davvero come un check-out tardivo. Viaggiamo molto e l'esperienza del desk front here è stata notevolmente inferiore al standard. Il resto dell'hotel (camere, bar, ristorante, posizione) è davvero buono, ma il povero servizio front-of-house è quello che ricordiamo di più. Vorrei restare ancora? Probabilmente, a causa della posizione e delle camere, ma spero davvero che essi possano organizzare la formazione e l'atteggiamento del desktop.

We stayed in a family club room with our 3 year old grandson. The room was huge with 3 French doors leading to large balcony & magnificent garden & sea views. The heated pool was superb. Our only niggle would be that because of the dog friendly nature of the hotel there were perhaps naturally dog hairs on the bar/dining room & the shower could have benefitted from a deep clean. Due to the age of the hotel we accept that upgrades occur as necessary on an ongoing basis. Parking was great & all the staff were helpful & friendly. We would definitely return again.

The hotel itself was nice; can’t fault it. Our room however, had a weird, stale smell and was off-putting, with no way to ventilate the room by opening the windows, as you cannot open them - A/C is not a natural ventilation. Bed was comfortable, slept perfectly fine, just not nice waking up with the smell, as mentioned before. Breakfast was good, although I’ve had better.

I am a frequent returning guest. The hotel is situated at bottom end of Totnes main street. It is a busy hotel and bar, serving food. The building is old with one central staircase leading to rooms. All the rooms I have occupied are very clean, decorated in a tasteful way and the beds are comfortable.. Teas are good quality Tea Pigs a small coffee machine is also provided, plus a bottle of water. I am a coeliac and vegetarian. Eating in other hotels is almost impossible,they simply do not cater for my dietary requirements,thankfully I am guaranteed a delicious breakfast here. One of the most important reasons for returning here is the customer service. The staff here are really approachable and friendly. Any issue you may have regarding your stay, they will do their best to help you resolve. T have stayed in other hotels etc if there aren't any vacancies here but from my experience if you like a relaxed friendly environment, lovely rooms, location Totnes as a base, then this is the place to come . It is also a short walk away from the most beautiful cinema I've ever been in, which is tucked away, along the main high street, My only wish is that more free parking was available . The hotel offers capacity for approx 6 cars at the rear of the hotel. There is plenty of paid parking in main street and nearby Morrisons.

Hotel clean, breakfast had a god variety of food location is great. Unfortunately we had an issue outside our bedroom which I reported to reception in the morning as I feel it is a security issue. In the middle of the night we had a man knock on our door and he tried to get in. He was walking up and down the corridor and appeared to be drunk. He then lay outside our room and fell asleep. About 30 minutes later we heard him again knock on another door. Although we think he was probably a resident it did concern us as anyone could get access to the bedrooms as there is no security to get up the stairs. There is no swipe card access and I think this needs to be addressed as it is a safety concern.
