Regno Unito: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Aberdeenshire

Ho trascorso 4 notti a Camere a 31 mentre visitavo la famiglia nella zona. È idealmente situato all'interno di Stonehaven, a pochi passi dal mare e a piacevole (ma intenso) passi dal monumento di guerra e dal castello di Dunottar. Stonehaven stesso ha tutto quello che potresti avere bisogno per un breve soggiorno: posti da mangiare, pasticceria, ecc. Le camere a 31 erano pulite e adeguate alle mie esigenze. Ci sono stati alcuni problemi minori nella stanza di cui ho già contattato il proprietario, ma questo non ha avuto alcun effetto negativo sul mio soggiorno. Il colazione è un affare di servizio autonomo con accesso ai cereali, pane/toast, prodotti mattinali confezionati, bevande calde e succo. Il vantaggio di questa configurazione è che si può avere colazione in qualsiasi momento e non è limitato a tempo limitato di servizio come si sarebbe solitamente a una B&B. Sarebbe stato utile avere un mini frigo nella stanza e avere accesso a una microonde, forse, per poter riscaldare cibo quando mangiare fuori non è possibile/ auspicabile. Sarebbe stato bello sentire che la sala da colazione era utile al di fuori del colazione, invece di sentire che dovevo mangiare la mia assunzione nella mia stanza. In generale, ho trovato il soggiorno piuttosto impersonale, non vedendo nessun altro per tutta la mia permanenza, tranne per un incontro molto breve una mattina nella sala da colazione con cui ho sospettato di essere stato il proprietario. Se non avessi visitato la famiglia, sarebbe stato un soggiorno piuttosto solitario. Non è un colpa mia, è solo la mia preferenza. Posso vedere come funziona bene per i viaggiatori di imprese o chi preferisce il check-out in un supermercato e non trattare con altri esseri umani!

My trip was totally ruined by the end/check out. Upon checking out they asked me to settle a £36 bill. I queried this as the previous night I ate in the Luna Dome but had paid the bill after my meal. I was advised by the receptionist that the drinks bill related to my first night's stay, where 3 drinks were ordered in the Titan Bar, then shoved a signed receipt in my face. The signature was not mine but it did have the same surname as my mum, who was also present for my weekend stay. It definitely was NOT my mum's signature but the receptionist clearly did not believe me, so as embarrassing as the whole situation was, with a queue gathering behind me, I had to bring my mum into reception to explain. My mum explained that she had not been in the Titan Bar, never mind order £36 worth of drinks! We were experiencing a chilled out weekend away with my 2 year old daughter, not on a boozy weekend. When queried why the bill was stapled to our room number, we were advised that due to the hotel being cashless, patrons simply sign a receipt and staff match it too guests who stay surnames! What!? So you merely play snap with bills and patrons surnames? If your a Smith/Jones, good luck, dread to think how many bills you'll be hit with. What was a lovely weekend away, was ruined in the last 5 minutes.

Lovely little hotel, food was fab and staff were friendly and helpful x We had an issue with the TV remote they sorted it as soon as we asked. I would recommend the hotel replace the sofa bed in the flat it was awful, no springs left at one end, the thinnest mattress so you felt every spring that was left and we had to put a pillow in the big dip in the middle. Also they put what seemed like a single quilt in a double quilt cover. The bed upstairs was comfortable enough though so 2 out of the four of us managed to sleep. The location was perfect for our requirements, but there isn't much going on in the area at all. You are very close to Aldi and some nice little cafes and a few shops. There was entertainment but unfortunately as we had a traveller with us under the age of 18 we couldn't take up the quiz night or live music night as children needed to be out by 8pm. So it's definitely more for the older travellers not really for families with younger children.

Sono passati molti anni da quando sono andato a casa di Pittodrie e la prima volta che sono rimasto. È una bella posizione e un edificio stupendo, ma guardando un po' stanco, dipinto/papera pendente dal tetto nella sala di disegno/sala e diverse altre aree all'interno e all'esterno in bisogno di attenzione. La nostra stanza non era pronta quando ci siamo arrivati alle 4:00, ma non ci siamo messi in fretta e un drink complimentare seduto nel salone era molto bello. La festa di compleanno che abbiamo assistito all'hotel era grande, bella stanza, bella cibo e personale. Il buffet è stato bello e il personale è stato bello (anche se alcuni avevano lavorato a mezzanotte la notte precedente).

Abbiamo soggiornato come coppia per 3 notti in una stanza accessibile, la stanza era una buona dimensione e un sacco di spazio di stoccaggio, canali limitati sulla TV intelligente che era una vergogna, la matrigna potrebbe fare il lavoro aggiornato anche come si poteva sentire le fonti attraverso di essa Quando ho visto la doccia, mi sono compiaciuto, ma dopo averla usata, ho formato un'opinione diversa, l'intero piano era in vela e diventato molto pericoloso cercando di camminare oltre le piastrelle. Sono caduto e fortunatamente mio marito è riuscito a venire a aiutarmi a riprendermi, se questo fosse un anziano o un scenario molto diverso, il colazione era assolutamente fantastico e tutti i dipendenti erano amici e accoglienti. Rimarrei ancora ma non in camera accessibile M con piastrelle sul pavimento

Honestly love how near the hotel from the airport is with one of the comfiest bed! The reception ladies were nice and helpful helping us check in past midnight. And the free shuttle takes the highlight. They had 3 shuttle at the hotel ready for guests to catch their early flights.

Nice place to relax old style Scottish decor but warm and staff friendly and helpful. Tried the downstairs restaurant on our first night which was excellent with good service and excellent food. Completely different on our second night in the Green Room service was extremely slow and erratic our starters took nearly an hour with quite a few of the other tables encountered the same thing we finished with the cheese board but had to complain about what had been sent which was not edible. This certainly spoiled our stay.

La camera era molto pulita e confortevole. Un altro sconto è stato che dovete pagare 5 sterline per usare la piscina che era veramente vergognoso, perché questo non era noto per noi prima della prenotazione. È stato l'accento del nostro soggiorno. In generale, un'esperienza molto piacevole sul Waterside e ci rimarremmo.

La stanza era comoda, ma semplice, e una delle caratteristiche più importanti era la velocità del wifi, che era eccellente. Il check-in si svolge nel pub dall'altra parte del parcheggio, non è così conveniente in condizioni di ghiaccio o di bagno.

Adorava davvero la nostra prima visita al Banchory Lodge. Il personale era sorprendente, niente era troppo disturbato per loro. La vista dalla nostra stanza era sorprendente. Colazione bella. cena serale, ok. Certamente andare di nuovo.
