Cile: hotel con servizio colazione nella provincia di Regione di Antofagasta

From the moment I arrived at the Diego de Almagro Hotel, the atmosphere felt unmistakably desert-like. The colors, the vibe, the arcades, and the traditional roof all suggested the spirit of the Atacama. The property is spacious, and with all rooms at ground level, it avoids that “industrial hotel” impression entirely. There is a large swimming pool at the center, framed by trees typical of northern Chile. My room faced the pool and was very well equipped, even featuring a smart TV. Breakfast offered plenty of variety, including cooked options like empanadas, and it was served in a rustic-style restaurant. The reception team were all very kind. The location of the hotel is also excellent—right in the center of San Pedro de Atacama, ideal for exploring the town on foot. The only downside was that the WiFi didn’t reach my room, though it worked well in the outdoor areas. In the end, I didn’t mind much, as I enjoyed spending most of my time outside anyway.

Hotel fantastico - belle camere (avevamo il piccolo doppio e era più che bello per entrambi) e tutte le aree bellissimi. Il personale era così utile e amichevole, soprattutto Raul, il cui consiglio e raccomandazioni erano invalutabili. Solo un piccolo sconto non era avere un ristorante sul posto, ma ci sono così tanti posti buoni entro 5 minuti a piedi che non importa davvero (di nuovo, davvero buone raccomandazioni fatte!) Proprio nel centro di San Pedro (attualmente dietro la chiesa) ma si sentiva molto sicuro, e letteralmente a pochi minuti dai negozi, dal mercato, dai ristoranti e dagli agenti di escursione. Il pranzo era buono - uova una opzione per il buffet; OJ fresco su richiesta e accesso al caffè ecc ogni volta che era necessario. Siamo stati 3 giorni e consigliamo molto questo hotel. Grazie per averci guardato così bene.

Great hotel just 5 mins away from airport. Comfortable stay, have a nice restaurant that serves full fledged food, with a nice welcome drink from the bar!

I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I arrived, the friendly and efficient staff made me feel welcome. Check-in was seamless, and they did me earlier check in. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, offering a variety of breakfast options like omelette, sandwiches, yoghurt with granola, sweets . The hotel's location was convenient, close to public transport to go to San Pedro de Atacama and lots of Peruvian/Bolivian restaurants. Overall, the Ibis Hotel provided excellent service, comfort, and convenience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

The lodge is 3km outside of town and thus has a quiet setting away from the dust and traffic of San Pedro. The staff was exceptional. They gave us helpful trips for sightseeing, helped us to order a taxi when we didn’t feel like driving to town, and were always so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good and there is 24h free (and very good) coffee. On top of that, the pool is super refreshing, clean and with plenty of chairs and even a fridge with cold drinks (which you have to pay for of course but the prices are super fair). Bedroom and bathroom was exceptional as well. We loved our stay at Lodge Quelana!

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Styles in Antofagasta very much. The whole staff is super friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are not too small and not too big. I appreciate the environmental concept of the hotel, where they advise guests how to save water and do their part for the planet, and yet nothing is missing from the comfort. I could rest very well in the cozy bed with the soft sheets. The breakfast buffet offers everything one needs for a great start in the day. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Hotel tranquillo con belle strutture esterne e interne. La camera e il bagno sono molto spaziose, ben decorate e ben attrezzate (con l'aria condizionata). Ogni camera ha una vista libera sul giardino arredata e l'isolamento sonoro è buono. L'hotel dispone di 5 piscine (uno grande), un po 'vetete ma restano molto piacevole dopo un giorno nel deserto. Il colazione era molto buono. La posizione è eccentrica, ma l'hotel offre un servizio gratuito di navette molto conveniente con una guida molto simpatica. Solo bemol: il personale alla ricezione è stato poco conciliante e accogliente (siamo arrivati un po' in anticipo sull'ora del check-in e abbiamo dovuto aspettare per più di un'ora, l'ora ufficiale del check-in (15h) Nessuno ci avverte della disponibilità della nostra camera).

We stayed 2 nights from Mar.2~3, 2025. We could spend time relaxing from the fatigue of the Uyuni 2nights 3days' tour because this hotel gave the comfortable and clean bed and the shower with hot water to us. This hotel has the beautiful garden and the swimming pool.  The breakfast is nice for us. We were very impressed by the staffs and manager who help us to solve the difficult situation. Moreover, one of the staffs was willing to translate from Spanish to our mother language in order to help

Homely lodging. We picked this place for its quietness. It can be a little out of the way, but as we drive it wasnt a problem.shuttle service to town is provided at intervals. Service was sub-par as there were some gaps in what i would consider as being hospitable. There's a small pool and hammock to lounge around, if the weather is right. What light up my day was the dogs/cats staying there. Good place for animal lovers. :)

I enjoyed staying here. I loved that they had two cats that live in and around the complex. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was not far from the main road 6-7min walk. The lady that runs the hostel is very friendly but does not speak English so have a translation app ready if necessary.
