Excellent all-round. Room was clean and of a good size. The necessary habitual comforts were there, from clothes hangars, and AC, to a fridge and desk. The water pressure was good too, and soaps and towels were naturally provided. Though of a poor standard there was indeed a gym with enough equipment for a work-out. The pool was also good, though more for families and kids, it even contained a waterfall. For the price paid, I would recommend 100%

Minha experiência de quatro dias no Hotel Express Vieira Alves, situado em Manaus, foi uma jornada marcada por frustrações e desapontamentos, reforçando minha decisão de não recomendar esta acomodação para qualquer propósito, seja viagem de negócios ou turismo. A partir do momento da minha chegada, a ausência de cordialidade e atenção por parte da equipe foi notavelmente evidente, atingindo um ponto crítico quando precisei de um simples favor: o armazenamento de uma pequena caixa (4kg) contendo lembranças locais. Considerando que eu havia reservado quatro diárias, com uma pausa para uma excursão na selva amazônica, este pedido parecia razoável. No entanto, a atendente Verônica, com uma abordagem que carecia de qualquer senso de hospitalidade, inicialmente recusou o pedido, citando a falta de um serviço de maleiro. Somente após insistir, destacando minha intenção de ”esquecer” a caixa, uma exceção foi relutantemente concedida. Este episódio, infelizmente, evidenciou uma desconexão preocupante com as necessidades básicas dos hóspedes. A ironia da situação foi a justificativa de Verônica ao afirmar que o hotel se designa como ”executivo/express”, sugerindo uma inadequação para turistas. Essa distinção arbitrária não apenas é impraticável, como também revela uma falha gritante na compreensão do que constitui hospitalidade genuína e suporte ao cliente. Se até os viajantes de negócios, que possivelmente necessitam de suporte adicional durante visitas ao interior do Amazonas, são passíveis de negligência, fica evidente a lacuna no serviço oferecido pelo hotel. Além disso, a recusa em fornecer uma toalha extra para um passeio matinal (mesmo me oferecendo para pagar), sob o pretexto de restrições operacionais, é outro exemplo flagrante de rigidez e falta de disposição para acomodar pedidos simples, exacerbando ainda mais a minha insatisfação. O comportamento displicente da equipe, frequentemente mais engajada em interações pessoais ou distraída por seus telefones, contrasta agudamente com os padrões de hospitalidade que muitos viajantes, incluindo eu, esperam e já experimentaram em outros estabelecimentos pelo Brasil. Esta falta de profissionalismo e empatia compromete não apenas a experiência individual, mas também a reputação do hotel como um todo. After the drought in the Amazon cut our 9 day camping tour short, we found Mural Living as a last minute accommodation for a shower, wi-fi, and air conditioning. Over the next few days, it became our home as we scrambled to find another tour operator. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and feels like home. We loved the hot showers, the quick service requests, all the kindness shown when communicating with me in my awful Portuguese, and the general low key vibe of the place. We ended up staying 3 nights, each morning coming down and asking to stay another night but keeping the same room. They so kindly obliged. I'm a huge fan of this hotel and whole-heartedly recommend it for others. It'll feel like a home away from home.

The location is great, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is friendly. The best thing about the hotel though was Silvia at the reception desk. She warmly welcomed us, quickly sorted out some issues with my reservation and more importantly, was a superb concierge as well. She answered all our questions patiently about what to do in and around Manaus, recommended different tours to explore the Amazon rainforest and in general was super helpful and patient with all my questions. Thank you Silvia for making our Manaus trip rich and enjoyable!

Hotel super silencioso, Dennis e Leticia sao espetaculares. Irei recommendar para todos meus amigos na China. Vou Voltaren outrageous vezes pois vcs me surpreenderam. Eu vou recomendar tbm para a embaixada da China.

Taxi ride from the airport was $25 Brazilian dollars, only about a 7 minute drive. Room was clean and comfortable and as a single woman I felt safe. Taxi to downtown Manaus about $65 Brazil dollars. I am sure Uber would be much cheaper. Breakfast was a tasty buffet, would stay there again in same circumstance.reasonably priced.

L'hotel è molto ben situato e si trova nella regione centrale di Manaus. Ho una buona struttura e dispone di un buon colazione. Ho soggiornato per 02 giorni nell'alloggio, ma ho prenotato solo 01 per Trip. Il punto negativo è il primo giorno, dove sono state due cadute di energia durante la mattina, lasciando la stanza senza aria condizionata. Il calore di Manaus è terribile e l'energia è tornata solo poche 02 ore dopo. Per la struttura dell'hotel, dovrebbero avere un buon generatore.

Situato molto vicino al teatro amazoniano, il Taj Mahal è un hotel molto antico, la camera, nonostante spaziosa e con un buon aria condizionata, ha problemi in strutture come cortina rotta, pavimento scaldato, lenzuola vecchia e pugilato, spazzo dubbio ... ma tutto questo è già aspettato perché il valore che si riscuotono è molto basso. Non può aspettare molto di più di questo per questa tariffa.

Apenas alerto aos srs. que os registros do chuveiro não estão fechando totalmente, o que provoca desperdício de água, e a ducha higiênica não está funcionando, dificultando a limpeza do vaso sanitário.

O quarto sempre esteve bem limpo e as camas bem arrumadas. Solicitei um ededron à DEISE e fui prontamente atendido. A meu ver, é uma das excelentes colaboradoras que os senhores têm. Apenas alerto aos srs. que os registros do chuveiro não estão fechando totalmente, o que provoca desperdício de água, e a ducha higiênica não está funcionando, dificultando a limpeza do vaso sanitário.

L'unica reclamo è sul doccia, acqua morbida e pressione molto debole. La cura e la piscina sono stati perfetti, ideale per chi si riunirà nel quartiere industriale!

Incantevole hotel a due dal centro, gli ambienti comuni ben arredati in parte in stile old colonial, confortevole, le camere grandi e comode, piscina interna deliziosa, personale gentile e cortese, ottima la cena, se posso dire la mia la colazione potrebbe essere più varia.

L'igiene è buona, l'ambiente è buono.Viviamo qui la prossima volta.

the best feature is its convenience for the airport, just a few minutes away. There is nothing nearby that one can walk to. My room for 3 nights was simple. No way to make hot water or coffee in the room and they would not provide a kettle. No tissues and no glasses in the room to put a toothbrush in. The restaurant is I was told a separate business and cannot charge to the room. or at least that is what i was told. I had a pizza for lunch which i did not enjoy. later had fish (tambaqui) which was good. a limited menu and was slow for the food to appear. Breakfast had lots of breads but minimal fruit or cereal.

Amazing experience with the family. Juma lodge is situated far into the Juma river, just under three hours from Manaus with boat, van and boat again. The trip into the Amazon itself is an adventure, and Juma lodge provided for everything. Really professional and safe. At Juma, they have 17 bungalows on stilts, with stilted walkways in between. You walk in the ‘’air’’, and pending on the season there is water up to the walkways. The river can differentiate 15 m in height based on the season. In January, the water was low but still a very beautiful place. The swimming pool is just amazing, a must experience. Our english speaking guide, Nelson, is absolutely fantastic. He learned us alot, and he really was amazing with the kids. All the activities was great, and we found alot of animals together with Nelson. This is definitely the best lodge, and I cannot recommend it enough. We are Norwegians, and have lived in Beazil for two years. If coming back to Amazon, we will for sure stay here again. Food was also 10/10.
