Qualche tempo fa ero in viaggio d'affari e ho soggiornato allo Shuxiang Shijia Hotel. L'esperienza è stata fantastica! Non appena sono entrato nella hall, sono stato attratto dallo stile decorativo antico. Ciò che è stato ancora più sorprendente è stato il fatto che fossero forniti dei bellissimi costumi antichi. Zhang Mingyu ha detto che avrei potuto scattare foto e registrarmi gratuitamente, il che ha realizzato il mio sogno di indossare costumi antichi. Ha anche preso l'iniziativa di aiutarmi a scattare foto e i risultati sono stati sorprendenti! Anche al momento del check-in, il servizio offerto da Xiao Zhang alla reception è stato molto premuroso. Non solo mi hanno preparato rapidamente una stanza, ma hanno anche preso l'iniziativa di chiedere al cameriere di mettere gli articoli monouso che avevo portato con me e di pulirli con cura con salviette disinfettanti. Questa operazione meticolosa mi ha fatto sentire subito al sicuro e al caldo. La stanza era calda e confortevole, con tutti i comfort necessari. L'ambiente tranquillo mi ha permesso di dormire bene. Here’s a polished review you can post: I recently stayed at VOCO Hotel at Thousand Island Lake over the weekend, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and perfectly located with amazing scenery around the lake. The rooms were spotless, the staff were warm and professional, and the amenities were excellent. Breakfast was also one of the highlights — a great variety of food and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. However, there were a few things I found disappointing. Trip advertises several “free gift coupons,” but in reality they mostly feel like a strategy to encourage you to spend more money rather than actual complimentary benefits. It was a bit misleading. Another thing that felt excessive was the hotel photo service. They give you only 3 free pictures, and if you want additional ones, they charge ¥80 per extra photo, which I honestly find quite exorbitant for simple pictures. Aside from these issues, the hotel experience itself was wonderful, and I would still recommend it for the cleanliness, location, service, and overall comfort.

A stay at Banyan Tree Hangzhou feels less like a city hotel and more like disappearing into a private water village. The resort sits inside the famed Xixi Wetlands nature reserve, surrounded by canals, bamboo, gardens, bridges, and misty greenery—yet it’s still relatively close to central Hangzhou and West Lake. The Architecture draws from traditional Jiangnan water-town style: whitewashed walls, dark wood, tiled roofs, carved screens, courtyards, and stone pathways. It’s especially beautiful in early morning fog or after rain, when the wetlands feel cinematic. Rooms are unusually spacious. Even entry-level categories are large suites, while villas add outdoor soaking areas, private courtyards, or pools depending on category. Interiors mix classic Chinese design touches with luxury comforts—heated floors, deep bathtubs, generous bathrooms, and plush bedding. Excellent !

Stayed at Splendid Clubhouse for 2 nights, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip to China. I highly recommend slowing down and fully enjoying the serene, scenic surroundings this property offers—it’s an experience in itself. From the moment I booked, the service was exceptional. My personal butler, Xiao Shen, reached out a day before my arrival to coordinate everything, including arranging for a seamless pick-up at the Scenic Area. Throughout my stay, Xiao Shen was attentive and thoughtful, ensuring every detail was taken care of—from daily arrangements to recommending great dining options. Do make it a point to dine within the hotel, especially at Jin An Si Fang Cai (锦岸私房菜)—the food was outstanding. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the view from my room was simply breathtaking, overlooking beautiful spring blooms. Breakfast was another standout experience. It was incredibly delicious and thoughtfully curated, with multiple courses that were so satisfying I could easily skip lunch. Guests select their breakfast in advance, and everything is promptly served upon arrival at the restaurant, making the experience both seamless and indulgent. Overall, the impeccable service, stunning views, and attention to detail made this an unforgettable stay. I would highly recommend Splendid Clubhouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and elevated retreat.

Che si tratti di un viaggio d'affari o di piacere, tutte le esigenze vengono soddisfatte. Le strutture sono nuove, complete e l'esperienza è eccellente, con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il nostro soggiorno a Naked Stable era assolutamente meraviglioso e veramente memorabile per tutta la nostra famiglia. Viaggiammo come una famiglia di sei, tra cui due anziani e due bambini, e il resort era perfetto per tutte le età. Ci sono state molte attività attive per tenere tutti felici, dalla pesca, dalla poterie, dall'artigianato alle esperienze all'aperto.I bambini amavano soprattutto le sessioni di cavallo e di riproduzione, che erano pensati e molto sicuri. Ci siamo fermati in una villa a tre camere, che era lussuosa, spaziosa e estremamente comoda. Ognuno di loro aveva il proprio bagno, era così trattato. La villa era ben decorata e siamo stati profondamente colpiti dalla pensata sorpresa di decorazioni e torte organizzate per il compleanno di nostro figlio un gesto che ha reso il nostro soggiorno speciale. Il viaggio intorno al villaggio era senza difficoltà, come il servizio di bug ci ha presto portati dalla villa quando ci servivamo, e ci piaceva anche avere una bella pista di cammino fuori dalla nostra villa, perfetta per una mattinata tranquilla. La colazione era deliziosa con una grande varietà, e la stazione di noodle era un chiaro evidenziatore per noi.Una menzione speciale va a Chuan Chuan, il cane residente, amichevole, gentile, e assolutamente adorato dai nostri figli. Ogni dettaglio rifletteva la attenzione e la mente, rendendo il nostro soggiorno sia rilassante che gioioso. Molto raccomandato per le famiglie che cercano comfort, natura, e esperienze significative.

We struck gold when we found Hefu Hotel in Hangzhou. It is a beautiful inn with a traditional exterior and modern interiors. The surroundings are so peaceful, yet West Lake is just 15 minutes away on foot. We picked the Family Courtyard View Room with 2 bedrooms. Perfect size for our family of four. Spacious unit with a dining room. L'Occitane toiletries are provided, and the twirling shower massage is a great feature! The dining area crosses a living room and library, so much so it feels like home. Breakfast is made to order and a different main course is featured every day. Dinner is by reservations. We didn't know, but the staff accommodated us when I said the kids were too tired to go out again for dinner. We could even place our order, returned to our room to shower and rest, and then the kitchen called us over when our dishes were ready! For our second dinner, we were invited to ask for anything we wished to eat, even if the dishes were not on the menu. So, we order 3 from the menu and requested a light fishball soup and steamed egg custard. What a wonderful, heartwarming meal of homemade simplicity! Service is attentive, and I dare say will rival that of international 5-star hotels in big cities. When my boys couldn't wake for breakfast, staff prepared takeaways for them. When my 10yo said he preferred western breakfasts, staff prepared wagyu sausages and bacon for him the next 2 mornings! I asked about laundry service, and staff said they would take care of it for free! The night before departure, I told them about my difficulty understanding directions to my next hotel in a restricted heritage area. While I had dinner, the staff made calls to help me plan my way over and booked us a large vehicle for us and our suitcases. Hefu staff even managed to get my butler from the next hotel to connect with me on WeChat! We were so well taken care of!

This is indeed a nice hotel with beautiful facilities, though there are things to improve , given the high price. Many comments mention that someone has added them on WeChat upon booking, communicating the details of the booking and reminding to make dinner reservations. Unfortunately , nobody has added me and I feel like we missed out many things because of that. For example, we didn’t know that every on-site activity is organized per certain hour , as we arrived around 3 pm we already missed most of them on that day. Also , because of the holiday, the famous castle Chinese restaurant was fully booked for dinner and the next day’s lunch so couldn’t appreciate it . We had to settle for a room service that had very limited options not to mention, was ridiculously overpriced . 300 yuan for three basic dishes like fried rice, stir-fried pork and pork ribs soup, small portions too. Pity. There was a buffet diner happening at another restaurant by the pool, but 460¥ per person seemed too expensive so we passed. Some other small things like broken locker in a changing room or plenty of leaves and trash from the trees in the pool that nobody bothered to clean - felt annoying, again, considering the price per night. I’d still recommend this hotel for visiting at least once in your life. Service is mostly very good, breakfast more than decent, the heated outdoor pool is lots of fun even with the dry leaves floating on it. They have a game room, “activity village” with many things happening all day round ( watch the time though ) , the room I booked was nothing special but had everything we needed. It’s convenient to move around the territory on a “buggy” , they are very efficient. Only if you have a choice , maybe don’t come here on a national holiday so overall experience would be better.

Innanzitutto il servizio è stato molto buono e premuroso. Dopo aver effettuato il check-in nella camera che avevamo prenotato, abbiamo scoperto che il bagno era completamente trasparente, il che non era adatto ai bambini più grandi. Dopo aver contattato la reception, la seconda notte ci è stata assegnata una tipologia di camera adatta. Abbiamo saltato l'ora del tè pomeridiano, così la signorina è andata a prendere dei biscotti e della frutta per i bambini, per soddisfare le loro aspettative. Le attrezzature hardware sono nella media, mentre le strutture circostanti non hanno nulla di speciale. Per raggiungere le attrazioni turistiche è comodo prendere la metropolitana o Didi.
