Toscana, Italia: hotel sul mare

Ho soggiornato all’Hotel Continental per una notte il 16 agosto e ho trovato la mia esperienza mista. Sebbene sia un hotel a 4 stelle, ho notato alcune aree che potrebbero beneficiare di una ristrutturazione. Posizione e servizi: La posizione dell'hotel è sicuramente un punto a favore, essendo direttamente sul mare e dotato di una grande piscina. Tuttavia, ho riscontrato un inconveniente riguardo al servizio in spiaggia. Non mi era stato comunicato che era disponibile solo fino alle 12:00 del giorno seguente. Questo dettaglio è stato svelato dalla bagnina, che mi ha informato che avrei dovuto pagare per una mezza giornata se avessi voluto rimanere in spiaggia fino alle 16:00, quando ho dovuto lasciare la struttura. Camera e pulizia: La camera era piuttosto piccola e ho notato che i vetri delle finestre erano sporchi, il che non ha contribuito a una buona impressione al mio arrivo. Colazione: La colazione era nella media e, sebbene non avessi molte alternative disponibili, l'ho trovata abbastanza buona per iniziare la giornata. Prezzo: Infine, il prezzo che ho pagato per una sola notte mi è sembrato piuttosto elevato rispetto ai servizi offerti, soprattutto considerando che stavo cercando un soggiorno più accessibile. In conclusione, l’Hotel Continental ha un buon potenziale grazie alla sua posizione, ma ci sono aspetti che necessitano di miglioramenti significativi per giustificare il prezzo e le aspettative di un hotel a 4 stelle. Spero che la gestione prenda in considerazione questi suggerimenti per offrire un'esperienza migliore in futuro.

Spent six days at Hotel Fabricia and had a great stay overall. The staff are extremely friendly, professional and genuinely make an effort — you can really feel it. The hotel is reasonably priced and in a very convenient location, close to Portoferraio, with a large and spacious parking area. There’s a seawater swimming pool with plenty of space, a private beach with beautiful sunsets, and a pretty solid breakfast — especially the coffee! The coffee and cocktail bars are also very good. It’s a pet-friendly hotel, which I really appreciate. The only downside is that the sea directly in front of the private beach is quite mediocre by Elba standards, which is a pity. That said, walk just 10 minutes away and you’ll find beautiful, crystal-clear water. The rooms are fine: functional, with a comfortable mattress and very good air conditioning. Overall, a great stay, made particularly enjoyable by the staff and the effort they put into making guests feel welcome. And one surprisingly useful bonus: they accept UnionPay!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo posto per la seconda volta (la prima è stata proprio prima della pandemia) e devo dire che l'hotel mantiene con successo i suoi standard. Le camere sono pulite e spaziose, con quasi tutto il necessario (tranne il ferro da stiro). L'area SPA è buona, ma è meglio andarci verso mezzogiorno, prima che arrivi la nuova ondata di ospiti. Le colazioni sono superbe, con un'ampia scelta di piatti caldi, dolci e bevande. Direi che è davvero un'ottima scelta per l'Italia (scusate, Italia)). Il territorio dell'hotel è ben tenuto. La spiaggia sabbiosa è proprio dall'altra parte della strada. L'unica piccola pecca un po' fastidiosa è stata la mancanza di articoli da toeletta. Kit per unghie, kit da cucito e altri articoli prima erano disponibili senza alcuna richiesta. Ora si riceve il minimo indispensabile e bisogna chiamare se si ha bisogno di qualcosa in più. Va benissimo, ma... sembra un cartello ”tagliamo i costi” :) Comunque, ho adorato il soggiorno e tornerò sicuramente prima o poi.

Small hick up at the end but overall good and beautiful place to be. The location and view was very beautiful! The room is spacious and the service was lovely from the front desk! Tip top 4 star hotel!  We definitely love to be back!   Restaurant service is efficient and good but not very welcoming. Good food and view from the restaurant terrace! If I must comment, we felt we were not welcomed once we check out. As we should be entitled to use the pool area after check out until lunch time as we were waiting for time to pass until the flight- as most hotels would graciously allow their guests to. But the manager of the front desk , she decided to charge us 50 euro to use the “spa” who just left their luggage at the office after 30 mins of Check out.  It’s just not very gracious and hospitable of them. Remind you it is 380 euro per night at a 4 star middle of no where hotel!

EXCELLENT. I cannot praise this place enough. My wife and I were traveling Central Europe for 2-1/2 weeks then stopped here for 3 days. The property and room were fantastic. It was super nice to cook our own food for a bit. We even used their grill with provided wood to cook some steaks…delicious. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice. In addition we had just a few minutes drive to the beach where we watched the sunset one evening…plus there was only 6 other people on the beech (the first week of May). This place, town and hotel, is quite the gem…a real must stay for a nice relaxing time.

Hotel Massimo was a great pleasant surprise both in terms of customer service and hotel quality. First I made a mistake of the reservation date and the hotel staff immediately helped to update the booking without additional charge. Second, when I request for a room change to a quieter area of the hotel, I was attended to promptly with a small charge of 10 euros to upgrade the room. Their breakfast was exceptionally tasty and staff was courteous and kind. One of the best hotel service I received in Italy! Highly recommended!!.

Bel posto! Paradiso per chi cerca un luogo silenzioso dove riposarsi. È una combinazione di natura, aromaterapia di montagna, eccellenti viste sul mare e tramonti. Cibo eccezionale, servizio eccezionale in ogni posto. Un apprezzamento speciale alla direttrice dell'hotel Stephanie, agli addetti alla reception Carlotta, Aurora, al servizio bar Dmitrii, all'executive chef Francesco e a tutto il personale dell'hotel/ristorante per il loro servizio eccellente, la conoscenza del servizio e l'a**osfera che creano per tutti gli ospiti. Vi siete sentiti tutti come in paradiso🫶🏻 Ci vediamo di nuovo!

Abbiamo prenotato l’hotel con la raccomandazione di un buon amico italiano che si è fermato in forte di Marmi per le vacanze in ogni Aug così ci piace davvero l’hotel e soprattutto possiamo ottenere il buon affare perché non è Aug e il personale sono super amichevole e la piscina e Jakusi sono l'accento di questo fantastico hotel, quindi il mio cliente non voleva nemmeno controllare oggi è rimasto tutta la mattina prima di lasciare l'hotel e mi ha detto che dovrei organizzare che rimanga lì 3/4 giorni prima della fiera per rilassarsi!!

Очень славный отель! Быстрое заселение. Расположен рядом с бесплатным пляжем. В номере очень уютно, есть все необходимое. Большая ванная. Хорошее постельное белье и полотенца. Лифт, терраса на крыше с чудесным видом на окрестности. Очень разнообразный завтрак, вкусный кофе. Персонал готов помочь с любым вопросом

La stanza era molto pulita, anche se era un po' sul lato piccolo. Il buffet del colazione aveva una scelta limitata, ma tutto era fresco e piacevole. Il centro è stato il pranzo sul tetto, che ha offerto una vista fantastica e un'atmosfera meravigliosa. In generale, abbiamo avuto un'esperienza piacevole e saremmo felici di rimanere qui di nuovo.
