Beautiful property and perhaps one of the biggest Fairfield property. The service was professional and the room was cozy with all basic amenities. Beach is just a few hundred meters away though it’s not a private beach.
Overall a wonderful place, most important for me was that it was not located in a crowded area.
Breakfast buffet can improve.

Questo resort ha il potenziale di essere buono, ha un'area decente di piscina e le camere sono ben proporzionate.
La colazione era decente, ma abbiamo trovato disappunto i pasti, soprattutto il risotto che era stato consegnato freddo e poi apparentemente microonde quando abbiamo sottolineato questo.
Abbiamo assistito a una celebrazione della piscina di Sao Joao che è stato un po' deludente, si suppone che sia iniziata a 12.30 ma le decorazioni erano ancora in aumento alle 1pm.
La cosa più deludente è stata quando siamo arrivati molto presto a causa di un treno notturno che arriva quattro ore prima, ma non siamo offerti quanto un bicchiere d’acqua e quando abbiamo chiesto se i nostri sacchetti potevano essere immagazzinati mentre abbiamo comprato colazione ci siamo detto di no e solo per mangiare. La maggior parte del personale che abbiamo affrontato era amichevole.

Got back from Planet Hollywood last week.
Location - this is a quite beach with beautiful small grain sand and clean. Many locals in the sea and clean. There are a couple of shacks each side on the hotel beach with beds and drinks and tables. Sunset is beautiful from here.
Hotel: On arrival we were greeted, luggage taken to our rooms. We had the luxury pool view room- good amount of space in the bedroom, lovely balcony over looking the pool, bathroom clean. Towels changed daily and cleaned well. If you want anything staff are more than happy to help.
Staff are extremely helpful - we had a couple of issues with the room, but turned out to be user errors. We had a maintenance chap in our room within minutes.
The food was absolutely divine - eastern and western palates catered for. Chef Veronus came to talk to us every day at breakfast, and also made us some dishes not on the menu - really delightful and exceedingly good!
The pool was very quite, but suited us.
April is wedding season and there were some weddings on during the day and evening, but this is in a separate part of the complex. We actually enjoyed watching elements from the side lines. The wedding decor was incredible.
We could not fault this hotel, we were taken care of so well!

Firstly, the staff at the front desk is not friendly or welcoming. The staff from the breakfast room is much engaging, smiley and friendly in general. The front desk should take lessons from them!
The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I would suggest that you have another protein option for non-veg eaters like a chicken dish. Otherwise, it very nice.
The room was not what I viewed in the photos while booking. It was dark with wood paneling and it felt as if the walls were caving in. The room could use some white painted walls to make it feel bright and fresh. The bathroom also needs an upgrade- it's a bit dingy. The towels have seen better days- the bathmat was dingy and grey- a bit gross but we survived.
The pool is very nice but all the lounge chairs are right next to one another. And, there are only 8 for all of those guests? Umbrellas should be replaced with white ones so that they don't fade in the sun- good hack.

It is a very good property at a nice location. Food is awesome but service is very poor. Breakfast buffet area is not very well maintained with a lot of flies. Zodiac restaurant service is also poor. Good for a 1 time stay but not repeat worthy.

VVARENYAMIl mio soggiorno al Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon a Goa è stato un'esperienza eccezionale che ha superato le mie aspettative. They deserve the recognition for their service. The night we arrived, we were welcomed by Nithesh at the reception. The check in was quick and Nithesh followed us all the way to our room giving us information on the bfast, facilities, f&b and other details that we needed to know! Great Service, Nithesh! At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! Keep up your good work and you will go a long way! Thank you also to the ***agement and team of Doubletree Goa!

HHélèneIn ogni caso, è stato bello conoscere il luogo, mangiando colazione al caffè e divertendoci davvero, quindi abbiamo deciso di prenotare due notti all'hotel. La piscina era molto buona, ma era chiusa una delle due giorni che ci siamo fermati. La stanza era abbastanza spaziosa e pulita. I punti meno sono stati la mancanza di AC (c'è un fan sul tetto ma non c'è un AC corretto) e anche il modo in cui siamo quasi gettati fuori dalla stanza. Su trip.com dice che il check-out dovrebbe essere tra le 10:30 e le 11:30, e alle 09:45 qualcuno dall'hotel è già arrivato a colpire alla nostra porta! Stavamo solo imballando gli ultimi articoli e gli dicendo che pensavamo di avere ancora un po' di tempo, a quello che ha risposto al check-out è alle 10:00... e poi si fermò davanti alla stanza finché non siamo pronti a partire! Anche l'internet era molto debole nel nostro cottage nel giardino posteriore. Due problemi che sono facilmente risolibili, tuttavia. L'hotel poteva fare in modo di cambiare il tempo di check-out in viaggio. Venite a trovare un router aggiuntivo per le camere dietro.
