Where do I begin?
The entrance to the hotel is impressive—gleaming, well-maintained reception areas and spotless toilets, truly reflecting the 4.5-star rating. The reception staff were excellent—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely warm in their service. The facilities themselves were solid, offering a well-equipped gym, engaging fitness classes, a decent-sized pool, and reasonably priced food and drinks. Overall, the amenities were good, and I had no complaints on that front. However, an extra fold-out bed was an added cost (about half the price of the room), though they did offer a discount on it.
Unfortunately, things took a turn when we saw the room. This was nowhere near a 4-star standard—more like a 2-star experience. While it's cheaper compared to places I stay in Australia, it was still twice the price of accommodations nearby, which makes it feel overpriced for what it is. The lady at reception could only offer us two room options, both of which were in poor condition, so we opted for the lesser of two evils. This was a disappointment in terms of service.
The room itself had a number of issues. The hot water barely worked—either scalding hot or ice cold, with no middle ground. The room was dirty, with visible damage such as switches hanging off the walls, poor patch-up jobs, and mold on the ceiling. It was simply unpleasant, as you can see in the photos. This is supposedly one of the best properties in the area, but it felt like they have a monopoly here, given the lack of competition nearby. The air conditioning unit made a horrible noise and had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the room was tired and in desperate need of renovation.
One last thing to note: if you're traveling with children, be cautious when it rains—the tiles at the entrance get incredibly slippery.
Would I recommend this resort? Based on the room quality and the price, unfortunately, I can't recommend it. I won’t be returning in the future.
Il processo di check-in era molto veloce, prendeva solo pochi minuti, e il ricevitore era molto amichevole. Mi sono lamentato che il condizionatore in camera mia non era freddo, e il tecnico è venuto a controllare e a ripararlo rapidamente. In generale, ero soddisfatto del mio soggiorno, ma il letto aveva delle pelli che lo facevano sembrare meno pulito.
Good location in Banten, everything are good only the room size a bit too small, even after upgraded, especially toilet.. But so far the service and breakfast are above par.
Am always staying and booking this hotel as staying outside jakarta is less hassle and conducting meetings here is better. The mall sumarecon is 5 minutes walk away. Service and front desk staff are always polite and helpful.

We stayed here for a family-cation. The hotel room was quite nice, but for a family-cation it is not recommended, because the size of the swimming pool is very small, the relaxation area is also inadequate, more suitable for business or solo travelers who want to enjoy the hotel room.
Check in process took forever, with super longgg queue, have to wait almost 1.5 hours until we can enjoy our room.

My recent stay at Soll Marina Hotel Serpong was satisfactory. The room provided was clean and comfortable, offering a pleasant environment throughout my stay. The staff members were friendly and helpful, ensuring a positive experience with their attentive service. The breakfast offered was decent, although there is room for improvement to enhance the overall dining experience.
The room was spacious and i personally liked the washroom bcos of the rain shower. Water pressure was strong. The bed was comfy and kudos for variety of channels on the tv. The breakfast was so good i spent almost 2 hours enjoying the food while chatting with my sister. The main highlight for me was the freshly baked croissant and the traditional indonesian rice (i forgot the name but it has small chunks of meat in the rice). The customer service was also great, everyone was friendly and smiley. Overall i enjoyed my stay at santika ice bsd and would recommend it to other people :)
This was our second stay at the hotel, mainly because it’s close to my family’s house. We stayed during Raya, but there wasn’t anything particularly special about the experience. The breakfast was quite underwhelming, especially considering the price.
This time, we booked the Junior Suite, which was more spacious and noticeably cleaner compared to the standard room.
However, if you’re planning to stay here during Ramadan, do note that there’s a continuous Quran recitation playing 24/7 from nearby mosque. While it’s not necessarily a bad thing, the sound does travel through the thin windows and unfortunately disrupted my sleep at times.

CcallmelatsVery nice stay. The hotel is good. The room was nice and spacious. But the service was unpleasant. It took so long to provide us the iron that we requested. Hopefully Novus will get even better in the future.

UUtente ospiteThis hotel is for tourists who plan to transit or arrive at the late time. It’s useful for using with the themes like that, but the hotel is little bit old and there is only one floor. So, I needed to walk to my room for long distance. In addition, not all rooms have a hairdryer, so I waited for almost 30 minutes to get it. However, the staff are nice and breaking was also good. It was little bit scared when I slept because the area was so quiet and dark, but if you stay at the hotel for one night, I would recommend.

UUtente ospiteRecentemente sono rimasto a Fairfield da Marriott, e devo dire che è stata una bella esperienza decente. La posizione è molto conveniente, proprio vicino all'aeroporto. Anche il servizio di navetta aeroportuale periodica è molto utile.Ma è un po' di un declino che non ci sono negozi locali, ristoranti, o altre strutture vicine.
Il personale era assolutamente fantastico, erano molto amichevoli e di aiuto, assicurandomi che avessi tutto quello che avevo bisogno.
Ora parliamo delle opzioni di cena in camera. Non sono esattamente una festa, ma il cibo è davvero delizioso e offre grande valore per i soldi. E il servizio è stato di alto livello, sempre attento ed efficiente.
Una cosa che mi ha colpito un po' era la mancanza di bagni. In quanto viaggiatore d'affari, ho bisogno di cose come i razzi e le ghiacci, e purtroppo non erano fornite. Non c'era nemmeno una lozione corporea o una sapone liquido a mano vicino al lavastoviglie. E per smontarlo, ci sono state solo due bottiglie di acqua 600 ml per due persone (lo ero solo da solo). Questo è un po' troppo piccolo, non pensi?
Ma il più grande grippo che avevo è l’assenza di un desk. In quanto viaggiatore di business, non è possibile lavorare senza un confortevole posto per sedersi e concentrarsi. E' una vergogna perché Marriott è noto per le sue grandi strutture, e questo è stato un po' di declino.
Nonostante questi piccoli trucchetti, ero ancora molto contento del mio soggiorno. Sarò sicuramente di nuovo in futuro!
KKavanaghI really enjoyed my stay here. I had business to take care of while in Jakarta and this Hotel was only ten minutes away. They have 24 hour room service and a delicious menu, which was great because I was up at odd times dealing with jet lag. There is also a grocery store next door. The staff are very kind and the room was very clean.
