For a 4 stars hotel, it was a bit of a disappointment. Marriot hotels are definitely better outside the UK. When we arrived, we had been travelling for over 5 hours, so we were tired and just wanted to collapse in the room. Instead, we were given an extended explanation at Reception on how a hotel 'works' and that we'd get complimentary wi-fi. Don't ALL hotels have free wi-fi these days??? Also, they wanted to charge us for parking without checking first whether we had a car (which we didn't). When we got to the room, we found it a bit dated. There had been an attempt to update by adding a USB extension on the bedside table - however, this extension had two very bright lights, which I had to cover with a towel to be able to get some sleep. The pillows were way too soft, and they'd also tried to make the mattress softer by placing a duvet (instead of a mattresses topper) under the bed sheet - this ended up making the mattress feel quite lumpy. There was a mini fridge in the room, but it was empty (you had to go downstairs to get snacks). Also, the coffee and tea tray was hidden and very basic. For a 4 stars hotel, the complimentary stuff was basic and when I went to ask about getting slippers or a bath robe, I was told that's only available to premium rooms. However, I have to say that even though the room didn't meet expectations, it was very clean. In terms of the restaurant, the breakfast was delicious. However, the food was placed in cast iron pots under heat lamps, and covered with lids. The lids got very hot under the lamps, so getting your food was a bit of an endurance challenge. As mentioned above, the room was very clean, but I can't say the same about the restaurant. We were sat by the window and there were some cobwebs and dead flies - since we were in the country, a few flies are to be expected, but when the fly cemetary looks the same two days in a row, that suggests nobody dusted there. Not great having your meal while waiting for a spider to climb up the web and join you. The gym was good and had free towels and very helpful staff. We didn't use the swimming pool, but it looked nice. Overall, some good things, but still a bit of a disappointment and never would've guessed that was a 4 star hotel. Not good value for money.

Questo è stato un hotel decente con strutture di base. La stanza è un po 'piccola ma sicuramente abbastanza grande per il prezzo. È molto vicino al centro della città.

Il personale non era ben addestrato e sembrava sopraffatto, mostrandosi scortese. Forse a causa delle vacanze di Pasqua, ma dalla reception al personale addetto alla colazione, ci saremmo aspettati volti normali e regolari, non sgarbati. Inoltre, questo hotel è al di sotto degli standard Leonardo. Suggeriamo di fornire acqua in camera, in quanto è una prassi comune nel settore dell'ospitalità per questo tipo di catena alberghiera.

Our stay at this hotel left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. While I wouldn't go so far as to say avoid it entirely, I can't recommend it or see myself returning. The room, advertised as having a king-size bed, disappointingly turned out to be a double. Despite the hotel's emphasis on green choices, the room was unbearably warm upon arrival. We had to open both the windows and the door just to cool it down. This lack of basic comfort seemed counterintuitive to their eco-conscious branding. Furthermore, small but crucial amenities were absent, such as a hairdryer, and some lights weren't working. The absence of an in-room phone meant there was no easy way to request these missing items, adding to the overall inconvenience. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The so-called buffet consisted of a small, albeit pleasant, continental breakfast. However, being asked immediately upon arrival if we'd like to pay an additional £10 for a cooked breakfast made the setup feel misleading. At £14.50, the continental breakfast alone did not feel like good value.  The restaurant also had a notice about a £2.50 charge for menu amendments. While I understand the principle of upcharges, this particular policy felt excessive and off-putting. These issues were compounded by a lack of personal touches that form the foundation of good customer service. No one asked at checkout or during breakfast how our stay had been, a small but impactful gesture that could have mitigated some of our disappointments. In hindsight, I feel I overpaid by about 20-30% compared to the value I received. Knowing what I do now, I likely wouldn't have chosen this hotel for our stay.

La posizione è buona. Il servizio è eccellente. Tuttavia, le camere e i servizi sono troppo vecchi, andrebbero riparati e rinnovati. Il lavandino del bagno è pieno di macchie e sembra troppo scomodo. Il bar non era affatto pulito.

I remember watching the hotel being built and said I would never stay there! How wrong I was! It's so quiet and very convenient for everything. Good choice of food for breakfast, even gluten free! The staff were always polite and helpful, replenishing food as it was used. Choice of coffee/tea. Can fully recommend this hotel and would/will definitely stay there again! Lovely stay at a charming hotel just on the edge of the city. Beautiful building, cosy room, stylish design in the bar and lobby and super friendly staff at reception, housekeeping and at breakfast. Thank you!

Il nostro soggiorno potrebbe essere stato colorato dal tempo piovoso perché in tempi più soleggiati le viste dell'Hotel Leigh Park sarebbero state ancora migliori. La stazione ferroviaria a Bath da Bradford su Avon è molto camminabile ma è giù dal hotel (alcuni piccoli molto intensi) quasi tutto il viaggio e dopo un giorno di lavoro a Bath abbiamo scelto di ottenere un taxi indietro la passeggiata indietro che montagna avrebbe messo un basso su Il giorno (e normalmente corri quattro miglia due volte alla settimana, quindi sono abbastanza a posto!) La stanza che avevamo era molto grande, come la bagno. La doccia era davvero potente e si riscalda quasi immediatamente. Il personale era molto amichevole e l'atmosfera dell'hotel era classica. La zona di colazione che guardava fuori dal terreno era molto bello e mi piacerebbe aspettare lì e godere di un drink in una serata estiva. Ho riuscito a caricare la mia macchina elettrica con la stazione di carica del tipo 2 e purtroppo ha consegnato solo 7 kW, quindi ho riuscito a farlo solo un piccolo piccolissimo. Il colazione dell'hotel era un servizio personale, ma i contenitori che tenevano il cibo non lo tenevano particolarmente caldo, cosa che potrebbe essere migliorata. Anche la scelta del colazione avrebbe potuto essere un po' più ampia (per esempio, non ci sono stati pomodori offerti come parte del colazione inglese). Dopo aver detto che il colazione era buono. In tutto ci è piaciuto il nostro soggiorno e ci sarebbe stato di nuovo intenzione di visitare.
