Firstly, the hotel management has strong empathy allowing me to cancel 1 night last minute due to family issues that I have to check out 1 day earlier. But to my surprise, Check in timing is surprisingly at 4pm. Gym facilities is under renovation but did not prior inform the guest upon check in. On Trip.com, stated open 2023 which is very misleading that the hotel was newly renovated or newly built. But the rooms are old but luckily not rundown and rooms are clean.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Super clean, comfortable, staff is super attentive and friendly.. really everything perfect. It was my birthday when I checked out and they even gave me a present.. unbelievably nice! I would always come back here and can highly recommend. And the pool is awesome too! Great place!!

The room is big. The servant at the front desk is nice. The location is very convenient. Parking lot is also big. The breakfast is very good. There is nothing to complain about. Food delivery options offers lots of items to choose from. I will come here again next time. They don't provide disposable tooth and brush. You have to prepare them yourself. Don't worry. They will remind you before your accommodation. Also they don't prepare the bottle wate in the room There are water dispenser on each floor.

Esperienza altalenante al Vagus Hotel Il mio soggiorno al Vagus Hotel ha avuto alti e bassi. Pro: Il personale della reception è stato incredibilmente cordiale e accogliente, il che ha reso il check-in semplice e piacevole. Everything was excellent. Finding the location from Hualien Train Station required a bit of effort, as the property was situated slightly behind other buildings; however, at one point, the sign was visible from a distance. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding. The only negatives were that, with the property being old, only two-pronged electric outlets were available, with 3-prong to 2-prong converters available at the front desk, and that the fixed shower head was not well aimed. The mobile shower head had a mount that was too low. Considering all the factors, I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Located next to Pier 2 making the harbour walk easy & nice, however, it is in a terribly noisy location where buses, coaches dropping tourists, garbage trucks working in the early mornings and people walking towards the pier talking and laughing loudly etc It is about 15 mins taxi ride to Central Park etc The city and water view were nice. However the facilities and the hotel itself were dated. Balcony lock was not working in either room we stayed in. The water pressure in the bathroom was not strong at level 5. Thr bathroom set up is uncomfortable. Beds were not quality ones. The slippers were really cheap quality. Amenities were pretty limited. Breakfast buffet finishes at 9:30 not 10:00. The staff when we checked in was cold. Performed her job but not welcoming.
