This place makes me wish there was an option for six stars. I study Asian art for a living, and I travelled to Jianyang to visit the home of Jian ware, classic tea bowls of the Song dynasty (960 to 1279 CE), distinguished by their black and brown glazes. Over the last few decades, firing Jian ware in the Song tradition has been revived in the area. I chose Nanping Colourful Village Homestay because it was in Jianyang, affordable, and accepted international guests. What I found was a luxury resort with all the warmth and personal attention of a homestay. I asked the front desk about an excavated Song kiln site in a nearby village, and the receptionist brought me the manager, who arranged for someone to take me the next day. My driver was Ms. Huang, an employee of the resort whose job involves buying and selling contemporary pieces. She knew everything about Jian ware! The kiln site isn’t run as a tourist site, so I was only able to view it because Ms. Huang arranged for it to be opened for me. I had told them I was vegetarian, so for lunch they took me to lunch at a vegetarian buffet. Then we visited the town’s Jian ware museum, where they have exhibits on the history of tea and Jian ware, historical pieces, and the work of contemporary Jianyang potters. To my delight, Mr. Gao, the potter-in-residence at the resort, uses a Song-style wood-fired dragon kiln, built right on the grounds! His pieces that range from beautiful but quite affordable to exquisite and appropriately expensive. They include both iridescent silvery oil spot and orange-to-black hare’s fur pieces. I am still thrilled that I was able to purchase wood-fired pieces on my limited budget. For dinner, the resort’s restaurant prepared vegetarian versions of Fujian cuisine for me. The food was all delicious, featuring classic Fujianese mountain ingredients like local bamboo and mushrooms. Then we visited Mr. Gao’s dragon kiln, and later his studio, where he experiments with different local clays and glaze recipes. The rich colours and iridescence of Jian ware are the result of the iron-rich local material fired at high temperature, and the results are as unpredictable as they are beautiful. The next day, they drove me to Mr. Chen’s family tea plantation in the mountains, where they grow famous northern Fujian teas. These fine teas were all wonderful, smooth and rich with a touch of smoke, and sometimes fruity in flavour. We strolled through mountainsides of tea bushes and visited groves of centuries-old tea trees. This is a perfect place for an immersive experience in China that is also very comfortable and convenient. I often find tourist experiences in China claustrophobic due to the press of people, but the resort was spacious and airy, and they took me to places where there was no one else but us and the occasional local going about their business. Everyone was very patient with my limited Chinese language skills. They were also happy to work with translator apps on our phones, so if you don’t speak any Chinese, you will be fine. This would be a great place to come as a family. There are gardens and rides for kids right next to the resort. You can learn how to whip Song-style tea and carve your name into the base of your own Jian ware cup. Not far away is a historical theme park with a collection of real architecture from the Ming (1368 to 1644 CE) and Qing (1636 to 1912 CE) dynasties. The employees wear period dress and there are performances and activities. Nearby there are hiking trails, historical sites, and lovely villages to visit. It’s also very close to Wuyi Mountain National Park, so it would be a perfect place to stay if the mountains are your destination. If you ask, they could arrange for you to visit famous sites or take you to breathtaking places that only locals know, whatever you want. They can also arrange transport to and from the train station or airport.

A hidden gem in the heart of the city This hotel is simply enchanting. The attention to detail in the décor and furnishings is remarkable — you can tell real care and thought went into every corner of the place. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed is genuinely one of the best I’ve slept in: generous in size and with the most wonderful pillows. The traditional Chinese architecture is stunning and adds a real sense of character and atmosphere that you just don’t find in modern hotels. The neighborhood itself is lovely and very central, and the street the hotel sits on is surprisingly quiet and peaceful — perfect for a great night’s sleep. The reception team is warm and welcoming, and while English isn’t fluent, they make every effort and communication was never a problem. When you arrive, they greet you with tea — a lovely touch. The room also comes with fresh fruit and other small welcome treats that make you feel genuinely taken care of. Even the bathroom products are a delight — beautifully scented soaps and toiletries that feel carefully chosen rather than generic. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and charming stay.

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Un posto tranquillo dove rilassarsi. Interni molto belli, puliti e moderni, e camera dal profumo gradevole. Frutta, bevande e yogurt sono gratuiti in ogni camera. L'interno è spazioso! Ci hanno persino messo a disposizione una lavatrice (dotata di detersivo) in ogni camera, così abbiamo potuto lavare i nostri panni. Anche l'esterno è stato ben progettato. Adoro gli elementi decorativi intorno alle aree comuni, come l'angolo lettura e il tavolino da tè. La colazione è abbastanza buona, anche se è la stessa per entrambi i giorni in cui siamo stati lì. Il direttore ha gentilmente offerto un upgrade a una delle nostre camere, dato che era fuori stagione. Abbiamo scoperto che hanno un'altra filiale a Yun Shi Yao. Forse potremmo prendere in considerazione l'idea di soggiornare lì per due notti diverse per sperimentare luoghi diversi, sperando che abbiano standard simili.

Questo è un fantastico resort, proprio nello stile che mi piace. Nel cortile dell'hotel si trovano una caffetteria e una sala da tè, consigliate sia alle famiglie che ai viaggiatori singoli. Ci sono molte piante nel cortile, tra cui un piccolo giardino botanico. Il proprietario è molto cordiale e ha una solida esperienza nell'estetica del design degli spazi. Ha creato un hotel dall'atmosfera fantastica, rilassante e confortevole, molto borghese e romantico. Anche la camera è pulita e ci sono biscottini e acqua purificata da bere. Anche il personale è molto entusiasta e ha consigliato itinerari turistici nei dintorni e alcuni pasti sfiziosi. Vale la pena consigliarlo.

Prima di tutto, non so come sono arrivate le cinque stelle di Trip.com. Questo è l'hotel a cinque stelle? La stazione di Yao Tao ha bisogno di 38 yuan per prendere un autobus, 18 yuan per prendere un autobus per la strada culturale, 115 yuan, non è vicino. La stanza è grande, non c'è nessun apparecchio di tintura, non posso stare in un ufficio per 500 dollari per tintura, non c'è niente.

Attraverso il gruppo, hanno assistito con tutti i tipi di domande, come i luoghi consigliati per visitare, come noleggiare una bicicletta e dove mangiare vicino. La camera era fantastica molto pulita, spaziale e confortevole. Il letto era particolarmente confortevole, e la vista era fantastica. Mi piaceva davvero anche lo schermo di proiettori nella stanza, che mi permetteva di guardare show WeTV e altri contenuti. Ha reso la camera ancora più piacevole. L'hotel offre noleggi di bicicletta elettronica, che è una grande caratteristica, ma sono stato personalmente sottosarcito per il tempo. Pioveva il giorno prima, e tutto il giorno era nuvoloso con temperature di circa 11°C. La brisa del mare era molto forte e fredda, soprattutto quando guidava la bicicletta e-bike con il vento che soffiava direttamente su di te. In tali condizioni è necessaria una buona attrezzatura invernale. Se l'hotel potesse fornire un noleggio di guanti e giacche, sarebbe un grande miglioramento. La sera, il personale ha portato un piccolo regalo alla stanza, il regalo era pensativo e pratico, e mi piaceva molto, e il gesto caldo e accogliente che ha fatto sentire il soggiorno speciale. La colazione era buona. I clienti sono seduti al livello 2 e il pasto è servito alla tavola. Poiché vengo da un posto dove alcuni cinesi non consumano carne di bovino, sarebbe bello se ci fossero opzioni come il pollo o la carne di bovino. Infatti, le noodle di carne erano molto buone, ma il colazione occidentale era piuttosto medio.

L'hotel è situato nella vecchia città e a pochi passi dalla strada per salire il camion. Forniscono anche servizi di navetta alla porta est della vecchia città. La vecchia città è molto affascinante e piacevole per esplorare, negozi e mangiare. La camera dell'hotel è molto pulita e temperata. La stanza esterna ha balcone per guardare la strada. Il personale è molto utile per rispondere alle nostre domande, soprattutto fornendo chiare istruzioni per arrivare all'hotel. Ci piace molto il nostro soggiorno.

漳州老牌國營酒店，很多年前住過，就想懷舊一下而訂了。園林式酒店環境是真不錯。衞生沒得説的乾淨，各階段服務人員都很有禮貌。設施雖然是老東西很有年代感，但是不影響使用，就是浴缸邊扶手一握就脱出，還好沒摔倒，扣一⭐。 住進時剛好有體制人員會議，一看都是中高階層人員開會。本來應該在水仙樓早餐的，被告知因為會議包場要去另一棟大樓吃早餐，走路得將近7. 8分鐘，酒店派了電瓶車接送也得差不多2-3分鐘路程，問題是：應該水仙樓的早餐和被貶去那個樓的早餐是五星級早餐和民宿早餐的對比！體諒，體會因為你們開會而改變安排，你可以改變地方，但是你不能貶低我已經付款的早餐級別！雖然酒店客服後來有打電話來道歉,但是也想吐槽一下望能注意。 可以説現在這酒店適合開會適合公司團建，但不怎麼適合旅遊或者家庭親子的行程。

Conrad Xiamen è a 3 minuti a piedi da Sha Po Wei e vicino a Xiamen Uni. La posizione spettacolare è fantastica. - Signor Presidente, signore. Il personale è amichevole, soprattutto la receptionista - la signora Cyndi. Essa aiuta a facilitare un controllo senza problemi e quindi aumentare il soggiorno più piacevole. Essa spiega anche dettagliatamente che questa è la mia prima visita a Xiamen! Grazie Cyndi e voi siete uno dei motivi per cui scelgo Conrad ogni volta che visito Xiamen!
