Wonderful Beachfront Location and Excellent Value Castaway Resort enjoys an amazing beachfront location. It was well sheltered from the strong seasonal winds we experienced elsewhere on the island, making it a peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Our accommodation was a good size, and we appreciated having a separate lounge area and small kitchenette. The television reception was fuzzy, possibly due to the aerial, but this was of little consequence to us. The sofa bed, however, was well past its useful life. The deep dip in the middle made it uncomfortable to use even as a sofa unless it was filled with pillows and cushions. The pool area is functional but looks tired and would benefit from some maintenance and updating. Wi-Fi is available only in the restaurant and other public areas, not in the rooms, which made working a little inconvenient. However, this was clearly stated in the resort’s description before booking, so it was not unexpected. The staff were amazing. Aileen, our housekeeper, and Firaz and Nather in the restaurant deserve special recognition. They were extremely personable, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile. The restaurant serves well-prepared and beautifully presented local food. Its beachfront position is a particular highlight, and enjoying cocktails there at sunset became one of the best parts of each day. Overall, Castaway Resort offers very good value for money, and we would happily recommend it. The calm beachfront setting, friendly staff and beautiful sunsets make any minor inconveniences pale into insignificance. A stay here is unlikely to disappoint.

Everything was wonderful! The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us with genuine smiles that made us feel truly welcomed. The hotel environment is peaceful and relaxing, perfect for unwinding and recharging. The lagoon is unbelievably beautiful — its colors shift with the sunlight, and you could watch it all day without ever getting tired of the view. There are different activities every day, from fish feeding to fire dance shows, all full of the island’s unique charm. Overall, it was an amazing experience — the kind of place you fall in love with the moment you arrive. A special thanks to the hotel manager. Our original room had just been newly renovated before our arrival, which we truly appreciated. However, due to my sensitivity to paint smells, I felt quite uncomfortable. The manager promptly arranged a room change and kindly upgraded us to ensure my comfort. We are sincerely grateful for this thoughtful and timely help. We would also like to thank Luke in the restaurant for making our stay even more special. His warm smile, patience, and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed. Thanks to their wonderful service, our holiday became a truly memorable experience.

Location bellissima, con bungalow 201 proprio davanti alla spiaggia di sabbia bianca, sulla laguna calma e piacevole. Il bungalow è bellissimo, attrezzato di tutto quel che si potrebbe volere, con terrazza coperta con tavolino, poltroncine e lettino. Sulla sua estensione, due sdraio per prendere il sole. Dentro, salotto separato dalla camera, bagno immenso e doccia esterna su retro. Un sogno. Pulizie approssimative e alla va vite; ma chiedendo si ottiene tutto. Ristorante non perfetto, ripetitivo ma ben gestito. Colazione povera; poca scelta di prodotti da forno e di confetture, niente formaggi e salumi, un solo succo di frutta annacquato. Cappuccino decoroso. Menu diversi per pranzo, pomeriggio e cena, ma con scelta modesta almeno per i gusti occidentali, Due serate a buffet per settimana, sempre con le stesse pietanze; il venerdì serata carne, con un filetto da urlo! Ci siamo stati due settimane due... La media dei turisti ci sta tre giorni, ed è forse per questo che abbiamo trovato il ristorante appena sufficiente.

Mi piace molto il tipo di camera dell'hotel, il balcone e il giardino di giardino sono molto tropicali, il servizio del personale è entusiasta e il tipo di ristorazione è meno, ma il sapore è buono, il prezzo non è costoso

Sono felicissima di aver soggiornato qui! Il mare cristallino proprio di fronte all'hotel era meraviglioso. A seconda della camera, si poteva entrare in acqua in soli 30 secondi! Era la prima volta che soggiornavo in un hotel un po' più costoso, ma ne è valsa assolutamente la pena! È stata la ricompensa perfetta! Il personale è stato incredibilmente gentile e disponibile, rendendo il mio soggiorno molto confortevole. Facendo snorkeling si possono vedere i pesci e l'acqua proprio di fronte non è troppo profonda, quindi è sicuro giocare. L'hotel ha fornito l'attrezzatura per lo snorkeling gratuitamente. C'è un ristorante e un bar in loco, quindi i pasti non sono un problema. Ho potuto mangiare sashimi di tonno e tutto era delizioso e in perfetto stile giapponese. Anche il trasferimento dall'aeroporto è stato molto apprezzato. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Grazie mille!

We had two rooms for our family. The beach suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the lagoon. The beach was so calm and beautiful. We loved the kayaking and paddle boarding. The food was good but after a few days we were sick of the menu. Luckily the location is great and you can walk to other restaurants.

Excellent Service from Moana Sands Beachfronts Hotel. Sincerely kind, friendly and helpful staff. Able to get late check out to fit with our late flight. Hotel is currently renovating their indoor restaurant which will be ready soon. Meal outside was excellent!

Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo - la piscina, la laguna, i cocktail e il cibo erano tutti eccellenti - ma il personale era in mano la parte migliore del nostro soggiorno, erano tutti gentili, amichevoli e considerati, e ricordavano il nome di tutti. Anche il mio pedicure e il mio massaggio erano meravigliosi. Siamo sicuramente tornati per un'altra visita.
