My husband and I came to Atlanta for the very 1st time for a family member’s wedding. The wedding party suggested The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Buckhead as one of the hotels that’s close in proximity to where the wedding was held. Upon arrival, the valet were great with assisting us with our luggage and also very nice. We had arrived quite early so we weren’t sure if we could check into the hotel yet. Michael at the front desk greeted us with such warmth and southern hospitality and he allowed us to check into our hotel room early. Usually when we check into hotels, it’s typically just that and we are assigned to our room, but it was a very welcoming experience. Once we got into the room, we noticed we only had 1 set of towels, and the bed looked as if someone had set on it. No big deal. My husband called the front desk to get more towels and another comforter for our bed. It took a while at first but the girl at the front desk (I think her name’s Ve) made sure it was delivered expeditiously. What was so great about that situation was that Michael knocked on our door to make sure our room was to our liking and extended his services for if we needed anything else during our stay. The room is very modern and clean, there’s construction across the street but not too noisy and the housekeepers were nice also. There’s a restaurant next to the lobby (Betty’s) that has a very chic aesthetic and so is the roof top bar, which has a great view of the city. We plan to visit Atlanta again and we will certainly stay at this hotel. Although, our request for certain items took a minute but the service provided, the cleanliness of the hotel and the bar is why we give this hotel 5 stars.

Stayed here for the GT graduation ceremony. Location close to Tech Square, there are plenty restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Comfortable quiet room, even when busy the reception desk was very patient and courteous.

I am very picky about the hotels I choose and have high expectations. Have had some bad experiences. So I was worried when I picked this one, not having stayed here before. We had a couple very minor issues with the room but the manager was very very nice and wasted no time fixing it. They definitely went out of their way. We drove over 12 hours to get here and arrived super early, and there was no issue with checking in early like we thought there might be. Bummed the pool was closed but that was noted. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Had a nice spacious desk for me to work at. Definitely on my list of places I would stay again.

I had read reviews about the hotel being dated and the carpets being dirty. I didn't find that to be an issue at all. Yes, it's not a sparkling new hotel, but it's in good condition and the room was clean. The only thing I really care about when I stay at a hotel is: did I sleep well? Unfortunately this was one of the worst nights I've ever had at any hotel. My room was on the 4th floor on the West side, facing the Interstate. Traffic was really loud, but I managed to shut most of that out with my earplugs. But then there was this deep buzzing vibrating noise coming into the room, not sure where from. There was no escaping, and it kept me wide awake. And when I did doze off, I would then wake up sweating from the heat in the room. This made no sense, I had cooled the room down to 64 degrees before going to be and it was 33 degrees outside but yet the room would heat up. I had no other option but to turn on the deafening AC unit for a while, then get up again to turn it off, to lie there awake from the buzzing sound until the room was too hot and the cycle would repeat. Longest night of my life, and it ruined my day the next day. Never again.

Ho prenotato la stanza del re corner, la stanza e il bagno sono molto grandi, l'hotel ha una prima colazione, la classe è pronta, la stanza ha microonde e caffè, il letto è il punto più luminoso e il sonno è molto comodo. Il traffico vicino all'hotel è conveniente, la stazione della metropolitana a piedi per sette minuti. In sintesi, l'hotel, anche se ha tre stelle, è relativamente economico e pratica economica! Infrastrutture: completa, con macchina da caffè Salute: pulito e pulito Ambiente: la zona di ufficio di alto livello della CBD finanziaria intorno Servizio: entusiasmo
