The location of the hotel is great, as you walk out of th rear of the hotel straight onto the shingle beach. There were plenty of sunbeds available still at noon and should they all be used/reserved, then there were plentry stacked up on the sides, so you could grab one and plop it on the beach somehere. You could etiher pop up to the pool bar to get drinks or there were staff wondering through the beds and you could order them straight to your bed. The sea was crystal clear, but beach/sea shoes are advised due to the pebbles/rocks underfoot. There was a watersports hut next door on the beach, where you could hire boats, paddleboards, donots, jet ski's etc. We cannot comment on the pool as we did ot use it, as looked a tad shady for us and we would prefer the sea. The hotel is a 10 min walk (slightly longer for us as I walk very slow) to the village. We were expecting a small village judging previous reviews, but IMO it was a small town rather than village. It had plenty of shops, places to eat and drink and really came alive after 6pm. The staff at the hotel are amazing and so hard working and go out of their way to to help. The pool/beach towel hire service was great and saved on additional luggage. Just a 10 euro deposit per towel and returned upon leaving. YOu could change the towels as often as you liked. The grounds of the hotel were lovely as was the Reception area. Ok, now the not so good bits.......... It is NOT 5 star! We wanted location (which we got) and luxury (which we did not get). I have stayed in Greece before and it was on par with a 3 star hotel, definately not a 4 or above. The reasons I state this is that the hotel website boasts it has a spa, nightclub and is ultra all inclusive. Neither of these is correct. There is no spa or nightclub and definately not ultra all inclusive. The mini bar in room was only filled with alcohlic drinks one (which I had to ask twice for on arrival), the snacks were only cake/bread, not good if you are gluten and sugar intolerant like myself, there was no frut on offer as snacks, only at main meal times and the hotel make it clear that you are NOT allowed to remove ANY food from the restaurant. The food in general was mediocre, with al the protien ( plain meat and fish well over cooked and dry) and of 3 star quality and rather repetative. We made it our decision to eat out towards the end of the week. The boiled eggs at breakfast were a lifesaver though. Tui state it has a bar and cafe, but the only one availabe is the pool bar. They also state they have bicycle hire, which they do not. There is no TV lounge either as stated. In additin to this, the rooms (we had 323) were tired, with furniture scratched/worn. The fixed shower head was full of limescale/rust. I don;t even want to think about the bedspread, as these clearly weren't changed/laundered inbetween guest stays. Based on our stay, if we had paid for 3 star, we would have been pleased as that is what it is. To pay what we paid

1) L'hotel è nuovo con eccellenti camere, e dispone anche di eccellenti spazi all'aperto e all'interno. 2) Ho dato 4 invece di 5 alla posizione perché il mare davanti all'hotel ha roccia e è molto nuvoloso. Quando dico roccia, intendo molte roccia, piccole, grandi e aguzie. In un'espressione, il mare è cattivo. 3) Ho dato 4 invece di 5 al servizio perché non sono stato informato al check in sulle rocche aguzie. Mi sono tagliato male dalle rocche. 4) Al ristorante dell'hotel, mangiamo pizza con funghi. La pizza non è stata mangiata. Inaccettabile per un hotel 5*. 5) Ci sono spiagge vicino all'hotel, a circa 500 metri di distanza, che si può andare con la vostra auto. Sono sabbiose, non ci sono pietre, sono cristalli chiari, si può vedere tutto al fondo e non sono molto affollate. Il colazione è fantastico, ha anche cose che non hai pensato. Tornerò all'hotel? Certo che si'. Mi rivolgerò alle spiagge vicine e mangio nel villaggio di Ierissos. E'un ottimo hotel, ma un po' costoso.

A truly wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and always smiling. Enjoyed breakfast each morning which is served to 11am, particularly the very good coffee. We were staying B&B only but did use the Al a Carte restaurant one evening and weren't disappointed. Exceptional food, and lovely service yet again. It's about a 15 minute walk to Afytos which isn't too hard, but reception are happy to call a taxi which usually arrives in 5 minutes or so and costs 5 Euros. Afytos itself is lovely, some truly beautiful bars and restaurants and really good shopping for souvenirs. In 10 days we never experienced anything negative expect for a few days of challenging weather, but even that couldn't take the shine off this amazing place.

Mi serviva un posto per rilassarmi e stare lontano dalla città per qualche giorno. Cercavo un luogo vicino alla natura, il Monte Athos e una delle cose più importanti per me ”il silenzio”. Facilità: La struttura era pulita e il personale era estremamente gentile. La spiaggia: Ho letto alcune recensioni che menzionano la spiaggia di essere lontano. La spiaggia è letteralmente a 40 metri di distanza. Non mi sono misurato :) (solo dicendo che era vicino) C'è un cammino e è sicuro. C'è un bar sulla spiaggia che fornisce bevande e tutto quello che hai bisogno e un bar cucina professionale che griglia carne, hamburger e tutto. Il ristorante dell'hotel: Il cibo era bello, a volte può essere affollato, consiglio di andare lì un po' più tardi.Colazione: Vivo nel Regno Unito, quindi trovo bacon di uova e ciò che non è davvero top. Tuttavia, hanno davvero tutto. L'hotel è dotato di Wifi - Grandi Trasporti dall'aeroporto all'hotel - Chiedi se potessero aiutare se pagato in anticipo. Camere - Molto pulite Cosa è il pubblico giusto? Famiglie, gruppi di amici, coppie in generale chi cerca silenzio (come me), rilassamento, e un momento in cui si può davvero sederti con te stesso e respirare.

Un hotel molto interessante su una piccola collina, circondato da una terrazza verde con vista sul mare. L'architetto che ha arrecato l'hotel lo ha fatto con grande gusto, l'intero hotel è una combinazione di nero e bianco. Stile vestiti, specchi, fiori ovunque. Le camere sono modernamente attrezzate, pulite con spazi spaziati da godere. Abbiamo raggiunto l'hotel quando il pranzo era finito ...neanche a cuore. Il ricevitore ci ha detto di avere pranzo subito e controllare in seguito. Molto gentile! Abbiamo una stanza di pavimento perché siamo venuti con un bambino di 22 mesi. I camerieri sono estremamente gentili e erano molto comprensibili per il nostro bambino nudo. Baci speciali a NIKOS che era particolarmente gentile a noi. Il cibo è eccellente e molto vario! Hai il gelato tutto il giorno! Ci sono sempre un sacco di frutta e diverse torte, anche dolci fatti di ciliegie e fichi. Molte salate, molte giovenche, miele. Vari tipi di caffè tutto il giorno! I cocktail sono meravigliosi! Diversi tipi di carne ogni giorno, pesce ogni giorno. ci sono anche cavoli! Diversi tipi di pane, diversi tipi di succo! Bella atmosfera nella piscina e bella organizzazione esterna, per il vero piacere. La spiaggia è sabbiosa, il mare è pulito, tranquillo e tranquillo sulla spiaggia, l'unico accesso alla spiaggia è rigido. Il personale pulisce costantemente l'hotel, cambia costantemente asciugamani e lettini il terzo giorno, sono amichevoli e tutti sorridono. Il parcheggio è eccellente, comodo. Wifi funziona senza problemi e velocemente ovunque! L'hotel dispone di molte terrazze, bar e angoli interessanti per riposare fuori dalla stanza. La terrazza del ristorante è come in una storia favolosa, si può vedere il mare in un angolo di circa 270⁰. Bianco Olimpico, grazie. sei meraviglioso, BRAVO!

T&J room 227 May 2024 This hotel is only 3 years old and is now under new management since March 2024, so the earlier poor reviews should not put you off from staying at this excellent hotel. We would highly recommend staying here, we’d love to visit again. Upon arrival we were shown round the hotel by Dimitra and then taken to our room where there was a complementary bottle of wine, some baklava and water, a nice touch. All the staff were super helpful, very friendly and always had smiles on the faces. Big shout out to lobby bar and the pool bar staff! All young, all spoke English (shame on us for not speaking another language) and were very attentive. We had lunch most days at the pool bar. We had no issues getting sunbeds by the main pool (big!) but this was only the third week of the season. However, based on the number of sunbeds and shades around all the pools and along the beach I don’t think there will be any issues in high season. The beach is superb and the sea crystal clear. Bit rocky walking out to the sea but worth it to have a swim. Regarding food, there is an al a carte restaurant which is not part of the half board, so need to pay to dine there, we had lunch one day there. The food was excellent, but a bit too expensive for us to dine there every day. The half board buffet dinner had lots of variations every day, keeping it interesting and very tasty. The staff was always helpful and ready to resolve any issues and make your stay as amazing as possible. Breakfast was the normal for a buffet style and with plenty of choice. Special mention to George, the F&B manager who was an excellent host, friendly and sorted out a small issue we had straight away. The location is quite remote, with the village of Nikiti 5km away and the other village 16km. So long walk to Nikiti or a 10 Euro taxi ride each way. We did not visit the village. On reflection we should have hired a car from the airport, rather than a taxi transfer to the hotel as it would have been cheaper and giving is more flexibility to explore outside of the hotel. We have been lucky enough to stay at some excellent 5* hotels in the past and would put this hotel right up there with them. All in all we had a fantastic 8 nights at Ammoa Luxury Hotel and Spa and look forward to staying there again, sometime in the future.
