My husband and I have just returned from a weeks holiday 31st May - 7th June. We are aged 26 & 29. The reviews for this hotel do not give it justice, it is a lovely hotel with lovely staff, nice and quiet, definitely the place for a relaxing break away. We arrived quite late, check in was quick and easy. They had kindly left us plates of snacks for us on our arrival. Our room was 107, junior suite with sea view. The room was a really good size, very clean, a lovely sized balcony with a beautiful view to wake up to each morning. We spent time on the beaches, no matter how hard we tried we still ended up bringing plenty of sand back to the room, the housekeeping team did an excellent job of keeping our room spotlessly clean. We booked with Jet2, our room included a single use voucher for the spa for 2 hours, which was nice and we had the whole area to ourselves which was lovely. The pool is a good size, unfortunately despite the notices asking people not to reserve sunbeds, people didn’t take any notice and put their towels down at silly o’clock, which is a shame for people who do abide by the rules. The food was good, a good variety. My husband is a very fussy eater and was able to find something to eat at every meal time. There is a good variety of drinks too. Snacks were chargeable which was a shame but understandable. There is a little shop selling all sorts next door to the hotel, although be careful in here as he tried to scam me and charge me a lot more! Just bare this in mind. The hotel has a shuttle bus that takes you to Siam park, los Cristianos or the street market. We used it to go to Los Cristianos for the day - it was €15 each return so excellent value for money, the shuttle bus operates on a Wednesday, Thursday and a Sunday and is prebookable at reception. El medano town is a 10 minute walk away, a lovely little town that comes alive in the evening with plenty of bars and restaurants over looking the sea. There is also a public bus (470) that goes to los cristianos, we used this too and found it easy, it was €13 for both of us return. The beach next door to the hotel is nice, although a lot of rocky areas and not much shade but lovely for a couple of hours. Overall an excellent hotel, lovely staff, beautifully clean and we would definitely recommend. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
