Le due strutture sono molto vicine. Nessuna cauzione e nessuna tassa aggiuntiva. Molto confortevole.
A traditional bed and breakfast type accommodation, with a good commons, and functional amenities. Located close to temples and historic monuments and streets. In any case, this place would be great for travelers seeking some history with their stay.
This is my 2nd time stay in this hotel. Stayed here pre-covid when the name of hotel was ”Heliconia”.
Really like the location as it's so convenient and the staff are helpful, especially when I needed help to contact a friend whose phone number was changed.
I stayed at this hotel for just one night, and it exceeded my expectations in several ways. One standout feature is the flexibility to extend your stay by paying a small additional fee—perfect for spontaneous plans or when you just need a few extra hours to unwind.
The pricing is very affordable, making it a great value for budget-conscious travelers. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which added a warm touch to the overall experience.
Location-wise, it’s hard to beat. Situated directly in front of a mall, the hotel offers high accessibility to shopping, dining, and entertainment options—all just steps away. Whether you're here for business or leisure, the convenience is unbeatable.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a short, comfortable, and flexible stay in a prime location.
I had a wonderful stay at this central Penang hotel; the lobby was stunning and the room was very clean, complemented by an exceptionally friendly staff member. For future guests, it's worth noting that a thin ceiling and outside work caused some noise, which a little added insulation could fix. The shared bathroom was functional, though it could use a bit more attention to keep the floor dry. We also appreciated how easy it was to get around from this location.
As a 1 star hotel, nothing much to complain as i booked for my aunty to take care my mother in LGL hospital. It's location is strategic just opposite LGL hospital. Front desk service is friendly, help to educate me on self check-in. Room is simple with tower and aircon, good for simple overnight especially for LGL hospital visitors traveling from abroad.
i like this hotel so much. seems like a new hotel. iron and iron board, hair dryer provided in the hotel room. the aircond is so cool, refrigerator also very cool. got many plugs, no need to use an extension. got kiblat arrow but didn't provide a prayer mat. got place to put a luggage and other bags, no need to put on the floor. the bathroom quite big and the water pressure is good. the water heater also works well. this pictures taken before check out. the most i like is the black totebag given in the room which is very rare. hotels normally just give a laundry plastic bag only. overall, i am satisfied with the interior and the facilities provided in the room. just one thing that you can hear sounds and voices from the outside. other than that, everything is good. would love to come again in the future.
The hotel is located on nice location close to tourist spots and have many cafes and restaurants around. You will not get bored. And the hotel is look new, clean and minimal.
The staff of the hotel very nice and helpful his name is “Saleem” he’s very helpful and fast response we were talking about the details online and if I need his assistant he is very fast to respond back and friendly also.

UUtente ospiteCertainly! Below is a **detailed, balanced, and constructive review template** for **Hangoutspacez Queensbay** (or a similar budget/co-living space in Penang). Since this isn’t a widely documented property, I’ll structure it generically so you can adapt it based on your actual experience.
---
### **Hangoutspacez Queensbay – Honest Review**
**Location: ★★★★☆** (4/5)
- **Pros:** Close to Queensbay Mall (5–10 min walk), easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, and public transport. Convenient for business travelers (Bayan Lepas tech zone) or tourists exploring Penang’s south.
- **Cons:** Not in the heart of tourist spots like George Town (requires Grab/taxi).
**Cleanliness: ★★★☆☆** (3.5/5)
- **Pros:** Daily cleaning for common areas; linens provided are fresh.
- **Cons:** Occasional maintenance issues (e.g., slow drain in showers, worn-out furniture). Budget vibe—don’t expect luxury.
**Facilities: ★★★☆☆** (3/5)
- **Pros:** Free WiFi (decent speed), communal kitchen, and lounge area. Good for solo travelers or digital nomads.
- **Cons:** No gym/pool; shared bathrooms can get crowded during peak hours.
**Staff & Service: ★★★★☆** (4/5)
- Friendly and helpful for local tips, but limited 24/7 front desk support.
**Value for Money: ★★★★☆** (4/5)
- Affordable for Penang (around RM50–100/night for dorms). Ideal for short stays, but may lack long-term comforts.
**Room for Improvement:**
1. **Better Soundproofing** – Noise from common areas can be heard in private rooms.
2. **More Power Outlets** – Limited charging points in dorms.
3. **Clearer House Rules** – E.g., quiet hours or kitchen cleanup policies.
**Verdict:**
A **no-frills, social budget stay** best suited for backpackers, solo travelers, or those attending nearby events. Manage expectations—it’s functional but not luxurious.
---
### **How to Use This Review Constructively:**
- **If You’re a Traveler:** Compare with alternatives (e.g., Tune Hotel, capsule hostels). Prioritize location vs. price.
- **If You’re the Property Owner:** Address cleanliness/maintenance, add clear signage for rules and maybe create any accessible lockers available to utilize the space in the efficient manner.
UUtente ospiteFor value and location in the old town peripheral area and approximately walking distance to major attractions was such a great place. The bed was clean and the sheets cleaned as hospital graded quality sheets with a hotel appearance. Whilst rooms are small, it was very well managed, and comfortable to sleep and restore energy - fit for one.. A little tighter for a ‘couple’ but still comfortable enough. The place was a restored old grand colonial building with Architraves more of post-Victorian Era and offices as a heritage building site - thus remodeled iinterior as a Bauhaus set up- no frills or extravagance in decorate, but colour oalatte blocks of LEGO arranged and deep Primary hues contrast the external light being Lebuh Chula reminiscent of the Hoi An Orient light and the grid like structures of Piet Mondrian and the city set up of the hay days that had similar orientation of British formations. The amenities simple yet available, and water system fantastic. The communication between agent services was excellent and prompt. The cleaners were around and if requested needed was designed. The idea of the box set up and returning cards and applications to each person in letter boxes delivered and on time. Preferences would be to have more pamphlets of city maps at the entrance and better entrance appeal. The system excellent. Air conditioning and tv all operating well. ( Draw card - walls are thin between rooms and can hear people in corridors and rooms. This fortunately people staying very respectful and considerate. ( if muffled materials between walls could be reconsidered ) . Iron boards and iron along the corridor great idea . Waiting for a bike rack and maybe a friendly expresso machine or a kettle if needing to wait before check in as a feel good 😊 would be a lovely touch to the services. Thankyou and I shared my experience to the agency already - in accordance with value and quality it was definitely worth the expected stay. ( families would struggle unless it was just for a staycation-for early birds.
Ideally a bicycles for hire would be a treat in addition to a highly accessible area for biking.
UUtente ospiteFor travellers who travel by train, the location is excellent, walkable to the train station. Why walk when you can get a grab car easily? To walk off all the rich food we eat!
The hotel is also within walking distance to the ferry terminal (Penang Sentral). So if you arrive via ferry from Georgetown, no problem! I walked to the ferry terminal to take a ferry to Georgetown!
Adding to the convenience, there is a supermarket and self service laundromat near the hotel.
The hotel has a lift, which is convenient, if you are assigned a higher floor. No need to carry yourself and your luggage to your room. But no chance to work off the extra calories. I'm not complaining, though
Reception is 24 hours. I had to leave very early as I had an early train to catch, but was able to collect back the RM50 deposit. Oh yes, RM2 was collected during check in. Trip.com had informed me at the time of booking, so this is not a surprise to me
The room that was assigned to me is spacious. The bathroom is well laid out. Shower on one side, WC on another side and sink in the middle. Shower gel was provided. Shampoo was not provided. It might be because the gadget for the shampoo container was broken.
I booked a windowless room. But because it was spacious, I did not miss not having a window. I paid a higher price for my room, I don't know why my receipt showed a much lower price.
In summary, I would stay in this hotel again if I go again to Butterworth
Pictures
1: Aircon lobby - such a welcomed relief when coming in from the hot and humid weather
2. The hotel's room rated
3. My room rate, which is different from what I had paid in advance to trip.com
4. Door to the bathroom
5. Above the WC, racks for drying wet stuff, very hardy
7.The missing shampoo container
6.The ceiling of the lift - pretty and classy
8. Don't lose your receipt. You need it to claim back your deposit
9. The supermarket nearby
10. The laundromat
TTravel King of the KingThe location is superb close to Penang international airport, it's convenient for those who plan to stay one night for the next morning early flight. The hotel has a lift, but the tooth brush and tooth paste is not provided , please bring your own prior to arrivals.
The durian store opposite the hotel (outside of Giant bayan baru) is bad, please don't be cheated by them, , they won't change it for you although it was wet with water inside, bad taste and it's hard like stone. Furthermore, the price is expensive compared to market prices.
EErul MaverickThe hotel is located in the housing area. Therefore the parking provided is limited. I've booked one queen bed n one single bed for my family. The cleanliness of the room is impressive and wonderful. However the size of the room is too small for me. It brings a problem for us to pray as we need to pray at the small space in front of the door. So, if one of us is praying then nobody can open the door.
UUtente ospiteFirst of all, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful.
Right in front of the hotel entrance, there is a restaurant called SNUG, and every single dish felt thoughtfully prepared and genuinely delicious.
The Malaysian Chinese lady owner was incredibly kind and always willing to help, which made our stay feel even more welcoming and personal.
As soon as you step outside the hotel, many major tourist attractions are within walking distance, so the location is very convenient.
One small thing to note is that the bathroom inside the room is quite small, and the soundproofing is not very strong—so for couples who have just started dating, everyday sounds might feel a bit too “live broadcast.” 😅
Aside from that, the room was very clean, cozy, and charming, perfectly capturing the old Penang vibe.
Overall, it’s a simple, compact, and lovely hotel that we truly enjoyed and would happily recommend. 💛
