Hotel a 2 stelle in Normandia, Francia

This was our first stay with B&B Hotels, and the first of 5 bidet hotel stays during a two week road trip around France. The B&B hotel in Alençon stood out for several reasons. The availability of EV charging stations was a real bonus and made our journey much easier. The staff on site were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, quite a contrast to our experience of many of the other budget hotels. Staff suggested we ate in neighbouring restaurant where we got a 20% discount. Even though it had gone 9pm. Restaurant were happy to accept us and our discount was applied. Breakfast was another highlight: hot, well-prepared, and consistently replenished, which made for a great start to each day. Our room was also noticeably more spacious than the one we had in Toulouse, and the shower was excellent, with plenty of space, strong water pressure, and reliably hot water. What really made this stay memorable, however, was the staff. Across all five B&B Hotels we stayed in the week, the team here in Alençon were by far the most engaged, attentive, and customer-focused.

Hotel itself is a great place for a night, however despite informing the hotel twice via email and on original booking form, i was given a first floor room, despite requesting a ground floor as i was travelling with my 84 year old mother, who has difficulty in negotiating stairs and no elevator was available, so despite the hotel being great, i won’t be staying there again as it’s unreliable to honour requests, very disappointing.

房間、床和牆之間的通道、淋浴間、洗手池、馬桶、早上喝茶的杯子、早餐託盤等等，都很小！這在意料之中。 不過，酒店很乾凈，接待人員態度友好，停車場也很大。 需要注意的是，雖然早餐選擇豐富，但我覺得質量一般，而且沒什麼味道。我覺得我在其他宜必思酒店吃過更好的早餐。

Pros: The staff is very nice and welcoming. We had a room on the first floor, which was very convenient since the hotel does not have an elevator. However, if you are traveling only with backpacks, this should not be a problem. Although the hotel is relatively inexpensive, it is very cozy and comfortable. We stayed in a room with three beds: one large bed and two smaller beds, as well as a spacious bathroom. Just be aware that the hotel does not provide slippers, but you can ask for water bottle. Cons: The towels could be cleaned better, as they already look quite gray and worn. And on the second day, the housekeeping staff only brought fresh towels and did not make the beds.

La reception é disponibile solo in orari stabiliti e durante il weekend non rispondono alle email. Ho avuto problemi ad effettuare il check-in poiché non mi sono state fornite le istruzioni per il check-in automatico. Quindi ho dovuto attendere fino alle 09:00 del giorno successivo per avere la camera disponibile per sole tre ore. Si tratta di appartamenti attrezzati, sono molto puliti, abbastanza silenziosi e il parcheggio esterno é gratuito. Purtroppo, non é consentito l'accesso al garage video-sorvegliato. Tutto sommato, la struttura offre un rapporto qualità/prezzo accettabile.

L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione; le navette per Mont Saint-Michel partono proprio di fronte all'hotel e si arriva in 5 minuti. Il personale è molto cordiale e risponde a tutte le domande. La camera era pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, tranne il frigorifero. Abbiamo parcheggiato l'auto nel parcheggio dell'hotel e abbiamo pagato 10 euro per 24 ore con la prenotazione della camera. Ci sono molti ristoranti e negozi accanto all'hotel.

Absolute nightmare with self check in Didn't have the correct booking number as I arrived late. Fortunately I was shown the intercom and accessed the self booking machine Very poor instructions and very stressful after a long day's travel. The room was superb spacious and quiet welcome shower when I eventually got in my room and comfy bed and welcome Aircon. Breakfast was delicious lots of options and good value. I am returning in August but reception will be open when I arrive 😄

Uns hat alles gefallen: sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, schnelles internet, 2 Handtücher pro Person, bequemes Bett, ein sehr sauberes Zimmer, tolle Lage (gleich am Busbahnhof), 5-7 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Zentrum oder alten Hafen. Wir waren mit der Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden und können das Hotel jedem empfehlen. Wir würden hier nochmal übernachten, wenn wie wieder in Honfleur sind.

Sono arrivato all'hotel il 13 luglio alle 7:30, ma l'hotel ha detto che non c'era nessuna prenotazione nonostante ho mostrato al ricevitore la tua conferma email quindi non potevo rimanere. Ho scritto il tuo servizio di supporto, ma non mi ha aiutato, solo ha detto che non ho diritto a un rimborso, ma non c'era niente a che fare con me, è stato un errore tra la tua compagnia e l'hotel, sono stato diviso. Inviate questo al vostro servizio clienti. Controllate i miei registri saprete quante volte l'ho usato quest'anno.

Situazione tranquilla fuori dal centro, e comunque a piedi solo 15 minuti alla cattedrale. Camere erano molto pulite, minimalista e comunque funzionale con un letto enorme. Il bagno ha una superficie stimata di 1m2, ma tutto è disponibile, purtroppo anche il forno doccia inconsistente. La colazione era buona, parcheggio davanti alla porta. Per l'esplorazione di Bayeux è consigliabile.
