We were excited to see our first Salty and a range of other wading birds including some elegant brolgas. We were looking for a Jabiru but not today.

We came when it was very dry and there was little water left in the billabong. Despite that, there was still quite a lot of bird life which was interesting and varied. I can only imagine what it would...
