利尻富士と夕日に光る海が印象的

「夕日が丘」と言う名前の通り、ここは夕日の名所です。もちろん夕日の見える時刻以外でも良いとは思いますが、出来れば夕日の見える時刻に行くことをおすすめします。駐車場に車を駐めると、海の向こうに利尻富士が見えました。利尻富士と夕日に光る海が印象的、留萌方面へ続くきれいな海岸線とともに、忘れられない光景です。

冬期閉鎖

11月頃から4月半ばまでは冬期閉鎖で駐車場の入り口のゲートも閉まり、入ることができない。天気が良い日に巡り会えれば、真っ白で綺麗な利尻の山を拝めるのだが、残念。
