環境保護の必要性を再認識できる

絶滅危惧種の野生ネコとしてイリオモテヤマネコと共に貴重なツシマヤマネコを保護する施設で、「かなた君」と云うツシマヤマネコの生態を見学できます。朝一番で訪れたので、活発に動き回る姿を見ることができました。(午後は寝ていることが多いそうです。)。丸く小さめで白斑のある耳や額の縞、柔和な顔がなんとも愛らしく、残された100頭足らずを残し増やしていく人間の責任を感じました。
