Waste of time
I would not recommend trying use Adventure Hq shuttle from Taupo to Whakapapa. Tried booking with these guys on two consecutive weekends during peak ski season, one with a reasonable weather forecast...

Trip to the snow
Great service. Picked up from our door and got dropped at the entrance of the ski field. Comfortable vehicle with enough room for own equipment.
