春の雪解けの様子が龍の眼に似ている「八幡平ドラゴンアイ」

八幡平山頂遊歩道にある「鏡沼」。 春の雪解けの様子が龍の眼に似ているといわれ、「八幡平ドラゴンアイ」 5月下旬から6月上旬に観られることがある。 雪解けの様子がまるで龍の瞳のように見える、季節限定の絶景です。自然が起こす神秘の絶景「ドラゴンアイ」は、毎年決まった時期に出来るとは限りません。 残念ながら、悪天候で視界が狭く、見づらかった。
