Awesome day beautiful place
What a beautiful little walk.. lovely river, big trees. Fantastic back to nature experience but so close to the main rd.

Great walk for the family. We did the Lagoon loop track with the family.. even the grandparents :). Some uphill. Track is well looked after by the locals, and great to the the trapping for pests! ...
4-5k loop hike
Had a nice loop-hike through the forest with portions of the hike along the river. Mostly shaded but some uphill segments.
A real gem
This has to be one of the best DOC walks in the Central North Island. As it is a little way away 30kms from the others less tourists . Peace and tranquillity. It offers good river views ( sadly lackin...
