Breathtaking!
My wife and kids visited the church in Ornes, as we wanted to see one of the oldest stavkyrkjer in Norway. The church was a breathtaking sight, as was the boattrip on Lustrafjord.

Fantastic visit
Nice boat ride there and back, quick visit and tour of a very interesting and historic place, 1 mile walk uphill from the ferry, so plan accordingly. Highly recommend.

Take your time to visit! And do inside: really worth it.
We visited many stave churches in Norway and this one is a UNESCO world heritage site for a reason. Amazing wood carving. Do yourself a favor: take time to visit the church and also the area. It is a ...
