Ladies there were the best! Lots of knowledge and so pleasant to help you. Wish there was more "advertising" for it upon vacation stays.

OK it was free with some local history, You got to tour house as well as walk the grounds There was several items to view, & staff very helpful

Deeper understanding of Ocracoke

Interesting exhibits. We especially enjoyed the Ocracoke Brogue exhibit with a video of locals demonstrating the unique dialect of the island. Cute gift shop as well.

Very interesting

I found this museum very interesting. Enjoyed reading the history of Ocracoke and seeing the displayed items. Worth a visit to walk through the museum.
